The willpower helps one to factor out their decisions and adhere to them because it is just like guidelines one has set up for themselves to follow, so as not to make any mistakes. Any gambler who can be able to set up a budget plan for their gambling and adhere to it is a principled player, and they do not easily fall for any gambling techniques that could keep them in a gambling house for that long. Once their time for playing elapses, they find their way out and call it a day. That is how a responsible player reacts to their game days, and they do it with dignity.
The thing is, it's all as you say, very few players take the time to say what they can do and how much they can spend. For me, a responsible player is one who decides how much money they're going to play with and how much they're willing to lose. There's no point in spending all your money and ending up with nothing A smart player figures that out and plays calmly without any problems.

in fact if not all gamblers will do this, majority will want to argue that they don't gamble often and claiming what they are not really doing as gamblers. Gambling is not becoming profitable like I have been making money before because of many factors that I don't even know most of them and why gambling is becoming unprofitable like the way I used to make profits.

To some, gambling is profitable, and to others it is not. The way it favours one might be the reverse of another, so it is vice versa. In all, playing responsibly is or should be the ultimate goal to making sure one is on the right track. I am of the opinion that gamblers are the only ones that can convince themselves to play responsibly if they really want to so after listening to advise or opinion of others which is just an input on how they could gamble responsibly.
Gambling is of course different for everyone, generally speaking, those who are responsible gamblers, derive entertainment from it, but those who continue to gamble with unrealistic expectations, ultimately face ruin. Therefore, it will bring results in terms of your gambling intentions and personal perspective of the activity. Therefore, the decision has to be made individually, those who realize their wrong actions and can shape their mindset to get themselves back on the right path, they can ultimately get themselves out of that risk here, but here everything depends on themselves.

The fact that someone is responsible about gambling doesn't mean they see gambling as entertainment, I'm a responsible gambler because I gamble within my reach and with something I can afford to lose and yet I don't see gambling is an entertainment because I seriously and honestly gamble to make profit but I don't put all my hope because I know winning is not easy and loss is inevitable and I'm ready and willing to accept any kind of outcome and what I do is that anytime my loss is getting bad or worse I will stop.

They need to be aware of how much time they also allot as they gamble. Because the more time they spend on it, it means that they're liking it and if there's no control anymore, that can make them addicted to it. Someone can say that they're still fine and ok but little did they know that signs of addiction are already there. And the longer that you're staying in the casino where you gamble, it means that you're going to have your focus on it and that can give you either losses and more emotional problem and heartbreaks.

I concur that time is significant as both of you have stated with regard to gambling addiction which at times is even more so than money. One can afford to gamble, but when he/she continues wasting time making bets, the habit can gradually convert into his/her routine. The fact that people can afford their losses makes them believe that they are still in control, but they do not give much thought on the amount of time that they are losing. It is not sufficient to set a limit on money and not to control time. In my case, I would set a limit on the length of time that I would gamble and as soon as it starts interfering with my daily life or concentration I would cease the activity.
Those losses are also going to make them feel emotional later on. Right now, they'd say that they're in control and those losses won't matter a lot. But we'll see that happen once they start going for more. The money that they're losing, we don't know if they can really afford that. Because someone who's losing so much can still say that and yet, the reality of his pocket is already in danger and they have nothing left anymore for other important bills. So, the long they say, the more they will lose and the more bills might be affected by them but they're not acknowledging it.

Your analogy of time being as risky as money in gambling was also very well lived up to. People believe that they still have the control simply because they can cover the losses but they do not pay a lot of attention to the time they are spending. The more the time a person is gambling, the more it turns into a habit and gradually influences the concentration and their day-to-day activities. At first loss may not seem serious but it accumulates emotionally and financially. That is why it is highly important to establish boundaries of time and money, and, in fact, adhere to them.

This is must look facts towards gambling and if people where taking their time extremely careful and serious before gambling we would have received less reports towards gambling addictions.
Of course this looks so common but it matters while gambling, can also look at the time you spend, how much you allocate when gambling this would enable you culture yourself properly while gambling and it would also help to reduce gambling addiction as well.

What do you think about the total hours spent while gambling, does it also attributes to how quickly you could become addicted to gambling?

I think everyone is going to make the same mistake again and maybe even repeat it, because sometimes our impatience makes us jump right in. Considering we live in such a fast paced and instant gratification world, it should be no surprise really. Take slot games for example, many of them are the same but the only difference are how many lines pay out and what is the structure of the micro/bonuses unlocks. It's usually when you dive into a new game or come across an unfamiliar unit of measurement that you might start to make errors. In the past I've made similar mistakes by not understanding the game and it was costly, so now I always try to research new things before diving in.

Of course. You have to bring the time allotted for gambling within a certain circle. There is no guarantee of winning or losing in gambling. Most of the time, winning gamblers have to depend on luck because skilled gamblers do not win on their preferred bets. Once you win your mentality is created to win more. Or after losing it is not easy to control the emotion. The need to bet more arises to recover money and whenever a gambler gambles to make money or to recover lost funds, they tend to spend extra time gambling and this is definitely one of the reasons for addiction.

What do you think about the total hours spent while gambling, does it also attributes to how quickly you could become addicted to gambling?

It's incredibly influential. The longer we stay on a casino site, the greater our potential to become a gambling addict. We've experienced this, and I'm sure you've felt the same. It's best to close the site or delete the app if the money we've allocated for gambling is gone or we feel we've had enough winnings for the day. Some people never know when to gamble, which leads to their addiction. This is the most fundamental trigger for gambling addiction.
The time we give to gambling plays a big role when it comes to gambling addiction, but gamblers don't understand it. Gambling is very addictive, and it is only by understanding this that you will allocate time that doesn't have a serious effect on you.

Another important aspect of gambling is to be disciplined and stick to the limits of your time and money that you can afford to lose. One problem with most people in gambling is that they find it very difficult to be disciplined; they just want to gamble according to how they feel. In gambling, you shouldn't gamble according to urges but rather based on what you can afford so that you don't get addicted to it.

Clearly, time significantly influences the likelihood of addiction. One thing to remember is that gambling is full of temptations, meaning the longer we play, the greater the likelihood of addiction. When you see so many tempting temptations, your interest increases.
This is why we always recommend implementing time limits in addition to allocated money limits.

I agree. Both time and money must be managed when it comes to gambling, or else we are going to have more problems in the future. It's either becoming a gambling addict or we don't have any money anymore to gamble, so we make problems for other people through borrowing money or making loans that we cannot even pay back in the future.

Anyway, I like slot games that reminds gambler on how much time they are spending when they are playing. I think this should be a mandatory on this kind of game because they can be played 24/7, unlike sports games, which have limited games in a day.

Gambling isnt bad as long you do make yourself that responsible when it comes to spending and on the time spend you would be doing with it. Never ever tend to have those kind of intent on trying out to make money with gambling. Never ever make yourself be that kind of delusional when it comes to gambling. Staying up for some time or duration should really be only on the vacant time you do have. Never tend to go beyond with those limits because you would be able to compromise the other things on which it shouldnt be that affected on your gambling session. In speaking about temptation to play gambling then this would be only depending on someones control and discipline because if you are a type of person whose really that good when it comes to assessing situations because on the time that you do gamble then make it sure that there would be no things that would be affected.

Of course it does.
As a matter of fact, the more one spends gambling on casino games the more likely one is to become addicted to those casino games, that is why one is not only supposed to regulate the amount of money one invests in gambling but one also needs to keep an eye on the amount of time one invest on playing those games.

It is not only bankroll management, one also needs to get educated on time management.

Money comes and goes, but time only goes and never comes back, we all need to be aware of it and keep it in mind.
You're very correct, the more someone keeps gambling the more they will  lose, and leaving will be very difficult. Setting a time frame in  gambling is a smart way to practice self-control, what makes gambling fun, is when you treat it as entertainment.  but when you're not getting that excitement and you keep playing  the fun will no longer be there again, And it may likely turn into a habit. Many gamblers continue gambling not because they're enjoying it but because they find it hard to quit.

That’s right. Sometimes these temptations may appear as opportunities and the longer we keep sticking around the casinos, the more those opportunities are likely to keep coming and the more we go for them, the more our chances of losing are increased, and for some gamblers who have very poor emotional management skills, they stand a pretty much higher chance of chasing losses and we know that’s the easiest path to addiction. That’s why I try as much as possible to limit the amount of time I spend in the casino and that has helped me maintain control to an extent.

If you count gambling as one of the things you do for fun, will you be spending too much time on it when you have other things that are equally relevant for you? Either you're looking at how long you're expected to stay while gambling or that you're looking at the duration of time you're expected to stay before you engage in gambling, the fact is that it should never be something that you have to be doing too often such that it almost looks like your life depend on it.

Gambling is just a small fraction of your life and so, you should be looking at other aspect of your life you can be very intentional about and not waste all your time focusing on just gambling as though your life depends on it alone.

Clearly, time significantly influences the likelihood of addiction. One thing to remember is that gambling is full of temptations, meaning the longer we play, the greater the likelihood of addiction...
I agree. Both time and money must be managed when it comes to gambling, or else we are going to have more problems in the future. It's either becoming a gambling addict or we don't have any money anymore to gamble, so we make problems for other people through borrowing money or making loans that we cannot even pay back in the future.
Gambling isnt bad as long you do make yourself that responsible when it comes to spending and on the time spend you would be doing with it. Never ever tend to have those kind of intent on trying out to make money with gambling. Never ever make yourself be that kind of delusional when it comes to gambling...
You made a really good point and framed it well. If you do things the right way, it all comes down to the fact that gambling isn’t a way to make money -it’s just a form of entertainment, and that’s exactly how it should be treated.
But the moment you start trying to “win it back” or, even worse, actually make money from it - that’s where things get risky.
Because in the moment, emotions can take over even if you’re usually a rational person.
Overall, if you stay level-headed and stick to your limits, you can reduce the risks quite a bit. But you still shouldn’t ignore them - way too many people overestimate how resistant they are to gambling.

,the more someone keeps gambling the more they will  lose, and leaving will be very difficult.

Normally, gambling is an addictive activity but some people Who has self discipline in other aspects of their life, they always find is so easy to enforce such self discipline when they are gambling too and it makes them not to be  addicted to gambling, they might not be gambling for fun but they are very conservative in the amount they are spending on gambling so that they don't waste all their hard earned money in gambling. So, this people can stay away from gambling for as much as they want without using a time table.

I think these are players who have a lot of experience and understand how the system works, and they simply decide not to let the game affect them. Unfortunately, I understand that such players are very few. There are still many players for whom the game has a strong influence, and before they can progress and improve, they'll likely lose. But generally speaking, abstaining from the game helps you understand many things. At least for me, it helped me think things through and avoid making stupid mistakes, and I also became better at managing risks and bet sizes.

The number of people who have been able to control their emotions and gamble properly and have achieved success through gambling is very limited. Most people fall under the influence of gambling through gambling, but it is their own fault. They want to get rich quickly, they think that they can earn money very easily through gambling. If we gamble with time and research, we can protect ourselves from the general mistakes of gambling, and as a result, we can protect ourselves from big losses. By controlling our emotions, gambling can be managed correctly, so we can protect ourselves from the terrible effects of gambling and enjoy the fun of gambling.

For someone that has been addicted to gambling before and later find his way out of gambling, staying away from gambling for a long period of time will not be a problem because experience had been established and such kind of accessive gambling will not work again. Experience is the greatest teacher and it is not something we can choose knowledge over personal experience.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Your points are best within your view and perspective, same applicable to others as well, so if you gamble for profit and still observe the gambling principles, then that is fine. And you should also note that what works for you might not be feasible for others, as everyone has their own approach towards what they do and engage with. However, it will be nice to hear from you how you gamble for profit and still be able to gamble within the confines of the gambling principles that you feel you gamble responsible. We will be glad to hear that.

You, more or less, described how I gamble. If I lose all my balance, which almost never happens, I don't deposit more to "win my lost money back". I say to myself: "I've had my fun. Maybe even more than were needed, I lost 5 times more than I could easily afford to lose, but I will definitely not deposit more today, nor will I do it tomorrow. I will stay away from gambling for a week now."
I can't afford to go over the limit even by a small amount. If I do, I'll break discipline and start contradicting myself. After a loss, I don't dwell on it, so as not to occupy my thoughts with unnecessary information. Why do that? It only immerses me in a more negative environment. I simply postpone the moment of enjoyment until next time, and that's it. I feel much better this way. It doesn't affect my personal financial situation.

I believe that it does not necessarily rely on the length of time that a person is gambling, but rather his or her awareness of their boundaries. It is good to set an time limit; particularly to individuals who are still in the process of learning to control their emotions since the latter will easily get in control. Nevertheless, discipline is more important than time itself. There are no strict rules that a disciplined individual would need to know when he or she should stop whether in winning or losing. The actual risk starts when gambling is not fun anymore and it becomes the pursuit of losses. Even an hour at that time is damaging. To me, time and money management as well as self-awareness is the most secure way.
