When it comes to wallets most times I've come to discover it resides mostly around personal preference. We know the endless talk about open source and closed source wallets but if you ratio Thier usages, most times closed source often outweighs that of the open source coupled with the fact we barely have them around.

That aside, what are you looking for in a wallet when you choose one and are those the reasons you are making use of your current wallet? If you use multi coin wallets what is you final settlement? And please add the wallet name
As a beginner I was introduced to several wallets of which I took my time to check their features and user-friendliness. This was why I had to choose Trust wallet. It's security backup is great and it has a very friendly user interface. It's easy of navigation too.

I also love the security backup. I have no issue using this wallet now and I still hope to learn more of it's features as time pass. For now,my coins are very secured with Trust wallet.

For me I will go for the one that is balance in security and easy to use, the trust wallet isn't that bad and is okay to take in many coins and easy to use too but if it's about the one that is stronger when it comes to security I will add a hardware wallets which is the ledger and it's really good for long term investment or for future savings.

The trust wallet can be used for daily transactions, then for the long term savings I will use the ledger because it's good, so that you will have this calmness that your funds are save like I will say your peace of  mind comes before anything else. Electrum wallet is also a nice wallet to use, what's more important is how carefully you protect your seed phrase.

Am always considering for non custodial open source wallet, i don't buy the idea of using a closed source wallet, despite the fact that such may be a non custodial wallet, the source code must be open and verifyable, this is why am using blue wallet and electrum wallet, because I can trust them to get the full privacy require under storage preference for my Bitcoin, my wallet can be imported at anytime without compromising my security and privacy.

For me getting into crypto, I started out as an airdrop hunter and a little bit of dabbling into trading so I started out with a multi chain wallet which is Trustwallet and then binance exchange which are both open sources though binance is not fully open source. But when I got into the forum and started hearing a lot about the disadvantages of storing funds in custodial wallets.
So now I make use of trust wallet and electrum wallet. I just use binance for trading.

Like you said, every individual has a choice, and the type of wallet you choose depends on the needs of an individual. While there are several wallet out their it is necessary to choose the wallet that sooths your investment goal and as for me , am using trust wallet which is a wallet with multiple coins.
To me , the primary purpose of choosing the type of wallet to use is safety, and that is the reason why I chose trust wallet, as we all know when you don't have the key phrase which means the coin is not your own and that is exactly what trust wallet does. Trust wallet enables you to generate key phrase for your wallet and these key phrase is meant to be kept safe and secured to enable easy access when ever you want to access your coin.

While choosing a wallet, your primary aim should be safety, and when your security key is generated do not expose it to anyone in other to avoid fraud, and remember to keep your key phrase safe because once it is missing, your investment is also missing.

I have two types of wallets for hot storage and cold storage. When I have a large amount of money/bitcoin added to my fund and I plan to keep that money in the fund for a long time, I use Electrum. Because, I trust Electrum in terms of security.

If it comes to regular transactions and the funds are transferred in a very short time, then I usually use Trust Wallet. Although it is risky in terms of security, I prefer Trust Wallet for small and frequent transactions due to its ease of use. I do not feel much risk in it. However, I do not consider Trust Wallet to be suitable for holding at all, I have seen the Trust Wallet hack a few days ago.

I make used of electrum wallet due to the advice I have received from those who have also understand the system better than I do, while joining the system, though trust wallet was deployed in certain coins as which I don't deem so much value especially when the market has not listed those crypto. Electrum wallet has served me better without any thing to speak ill about them though other wallet out their are also performing better like blue wallet but have not engaged so much on others.

I asked my boyfriend for advice on the wallet I should be using and he said I should use electrum wallet, and I asked him if he was sure about it and he showed me a thread were some reputable members in the forum were recommending electrum wallet and since I have been using the electrum wallet it has not given me issues and I love everything about it, and I will also advise everyone to check it out especially those who are looking for wallet to use.

I use cake  multi coin wallet and it is great as all my coins were at the same place, It has great features and is easier to use, I have not used unstoppable wallet before and may not use it anytime soon since I see people pledging that cake wallet is better. Cake wallet is very easy to use even for a beginner. It is non-custodial too, so I have the liberty of managing it myself. the interface is inviting and it is my taste.
Earlier last year, I developed a knack for bitcoin only wallet for my BTC and started out with Electrum which is still very simple and easy to use. It also supports RBF which I have used in one or two occasions, which makes it a great choice for its flexibility.

When it comes to high security standard for a wallet recommendation, it can be said that we should go for bitcoincore, because this guarantees full anonymity and security, as we are using the client for our own personal safety as it connects directly to the nodes.

Well, if you still want to come down to a little bit more standard and being affordable, then we may require the use of open source non-custodial wallet like passport wallet, electron, sparrow wallet, blue wallet and so on, try as much not to bring the idea of trust wallet into the list because it is a closed source non-costodial wallets and we had better go for the open source non-custodial wallets, what's the examples above from which I also use some of the wallets mentioned.

To choose any wallet nothing is more important than the security of that wallet. It would make absolutely no sense for fellas to spend their year grinding and hustling so that they can make money to buy a coin and store it, only for everything to vanish one day because of the insecurity of that wallet.

Electrum is the most secure, it has been so to me so far, and I bet that it will continue that way because of its long track record and wide adoption. It may having little issues here and there but not as others have.

I believe the primary reason why people chose wallet is because of how secure the wallet is and it is very important to chose a wallet that has a strong security so that it can not be compromise so easily and blue wallet happens to be my favorite wallet because of its strong security and in this wallet you can set a multi key and it is majorly for Bitcoin alone since I don't want any distraction from altcoins and shitcoins and lastly it is user-friendly.

How simple is the interface? The level of security, The reputation of the wallet? Is it decentralized and is is a self custody wallet? That is the question and a lot more is what I ask myself when picking any wallet. People think that because a wallet is centralized means that it is secured, but that it not true.

Centralizations equal to government or outsider control of that wallet, and this means anything can happen to your funds even without your permission. I buy just Bitcoin for now so that is why I use BlueWallet. It is non custodian and I am in control of my keys, very secured, what more could I ask for.

Well, every individuals have the right to chose the wallet they think is more safe and secured for them. As for me I have been making used of trust wallet ever since I got into this crypto space not until I lost my seed phrase and luckily I moved all my assets to an exchange for trade before the incident, currently I'm making used of blue wallet and I must say that it is a very nice and secured wallet for me, although I know it's just the same as trust wallet because the both of them are non custodial wallet rather I just decided to try a different wallet since I lost my trust wallet seed phrase.

Yes, i came across this electrum wallet and I must say that it has a nice features, honestly I'm just making reviews on the right wallet to store my assets, while making research I also came across blue wallet, and trust wallet. These are the few wallets I was recommend to use and after comparing the Three wallets then I decided to go for blue wallet because it is very easy to access than trust wallet and electrum that's in my own view.

I mostly use electrum and that's because it is an open source wallet and it has been widely reviewed by the community. I use it as an online wallet where i keep a small amount of bitcoin. As for cold storage, i still dey use electrum, but i set am up in an airgapped device, very easy to do if you get the knowledge.

That said, as for multicoin wallet, i dey use Unstoppable wallet, it is open source and a great wallet for people who want to hodl multiple coins. So that's basically it for me, i do not use any closed source wallet, for obvious reasons.

Trust Wallet has been my top choice, it's the best and most trusted that I have ever used, after being recommended to me by my friends and crypto colleague.

Trust wallet give you the full control to over your funds as it lets you manually store you seedphrase.

The wallet is even a multi coin wallet as I have even used it over the past month to send and receive different coins from P2P vendors.
