I'm opening this topic to have some opinion on sports betting . I'm not an regular sports bettor , I've a close friend who regularly place bet's on sport's game. I see him often lose from sports betting. I occasionally play sport's betting. But it seems like my prediction are more accurate day by day.

As for now my winning streak is 8 out of 10 . I play very few matches when I like to play some sport's betting. So I'm wondering if I should spent more time on Sports betting or not.

He did it 3 times and I do not know the reason he was so lucky. The guy grew confidence and he used around $1700 to bet which is where the problem started. He started losing money. I think he started losing money because he increased the money and bet more often. Stick to how you are making money and know that not all days are lucky days.

Depending if you enjoying doing it. There’s no guarantee that you will maintain a high accuracy bet if you do this on regular basis with more bets while losing money on bet that doesn’t like feels like a total waste rather than losing it on game that really like.

It's very hard to recommend mate, it's really how you view gambling. Maybe you are lucky that you are in net positive, but what if we recommend you to continue and suddenly your luck changes and starting losing? So it depends on what you feel, and as what we say, just play with the money that you can afford to lose. I think the term here is "casual" gambler and not irregular (just for the semantics). So with that, just think about it and open your options. If you have time to bet then go, if you win then good. If you lose, then maybe you have to reset everything and take a break and enjoy the money left and not put it back to the casino again.

You gave a feeling that it's accurate then why haven't you tried it or asks your friend to bet on it? I think you should give it a try if you're that curious and 8 out of 10 is definitely a huge one because that's an 80% accuracy but I guess you've got a beginner's luck and it will be different once you're playing with your own money. I think you should consider bankroll management because your prediction when no money involve will probably get ahead of yourself, just my two cents.

But the trick there is that you only bet temporary. If you start betting on a regular, you might see that how many times you have won on the 8 times may reduce and the other 2 times you lost may increase with the number of times you bet. This is possible because of the numbers of times you didn't bet might have been failure if you actually did bet. Therefore, if your losses increase, it will eventually make you chase your losses just like every other gambler is doing when they are in losing streak. 8 out of 10 is a good indicator but far too small of a sample size to tell if you're good or just happened to get a lucky string of success. It also completely ignores the odds that you are betting on, you're much more likely to win when placing 1.05x bets compared to playing 1.85x bets. Stop thinking that this will be some professional career you can enter in, that's how addicts are formed and how you end up like your friend. When you lose sight of the fun, then it becomes a chore.

Occasionally plays a bigger role in a gamblers life, I don't gamble everyday and I can say that I have better results that many gamblers who had turned gambling into a source of income.

I get to know that too much gambling is not good, having a big gap between your gambling activities is more favourable to luck, maybe it's just me like I used to think but now that you brought this up I am starting to think otherwise.

First of all I want you to know that gambling depends on luck because this is where many gamblers normally get carried away by trying to find themselves as someone who has the best luck. It seems to me that you have quite a good betting strategy by being selective and more considering on what
games you bet on and whatever finer details you havnt mentioned.

I think you should continue with your rate of gambling and see if your streak holds up, and I think if you try
to force a change you might lose the what has made your streak possible.

There is no time limit there are matches and games 24/7/365, so be patient and see where your current approach

I don't know if discipline is involved here, he just said that he is a irregular gambler. So it's like on and off betting for him, but the good thing is that he is 8 out of 10. So his batting average is big at 80% and obviously, he is making money out of this kind of style.
