You can call it a lucky day for you, but I want to ask, did you do a logical analysis on sports data before placing the bet, or did you just pick some random numbers and place your bet because that is what some players who are lucky enough to win games say they do and it turns out to favour them but logically, we know they did not do any analysis but were just so lucky to have won their bets while those who did a good analysis are just stocked up win nothing.

When an irregular gambler who doesn't gamble too much but wins most of his bets considers going pro, they will not be winning as much as they are winning again because things will change in them, and they will be more focused on profit than just doing it the same way it was being done when they gambled occasionally, adding to the fact that something you are doing regularly has a higher chance of recording much loss compared to the few times you were doing it before.

I'm opening this topic to have some opinion on sports betting . I'm not an regular sports bettor , I've a close friend who regularly place bet's on sport's game. I see him often lose from sports betting. I occasionally play sport's betting. But it seems like my prediction are more accurate day by day.

As for now my winning streak is 8 out of 10 . I play very few matches when I like to play some sport's betting. So I'm wondering if I should spent more time on Sports betting or not.

Or is this my luck I won cause I only place bets on sports betting occasionally.  I do not show emotion on sport's betting only choose which team is in better position. So if I wants to start my journey as newly sport's gambler what should I consider.

It's more likely because you bet less often and win. If you bet like your friend, then we could compare statistics. I'm also not an avid gambler and bet quite rarely, more often when my club or my favorite athlete is playing, so it doesn't happen as often. And when there are breaks in betting, the results are much better than if I bet without thinking and often.

If I gamble regularly, there is a high  probability that I am addicted to gambling. But if I do not  gamble regularly, and can take short breaks from time to time, then it is possible to control my gambling addiction to a large extent . This means that we still have control over  ourselves. If I were addicted, this self-control would not be there.

Anyway , I personally also think that it is necessary to take short breaks from gambling from time to time. I find it boring to participate  in the same type of  gambling every day. So I do not take breaks often. And I do not  go to the casino more than once a month. At the same time , I do online gambling, but I do it in my free  time.

8 out of 10 is a good odds. As someone who bets irregularly, I haven't been able to catch a streak like that, maybe I'm making really bad decisions. But I don't think you did that with a lot of information either, maybe you were just lucky. Still, you can continue betting on sports regularly and then calculate the outcome by looking at the results.

As soon you get confident about your winnings, that is the exact time you begin to lose more often. You've just been lucky, for a few consecutive times you've done that, don't expect it to be like that all the time. You can't go a very long stretch without losing, 8/10 might sound perfect, until it starts dropping where you only win less than half of the 10.

I applaud you based on knowing your limit, I also don't gamble regularly, always do what works for you, I don't advise you to increase how often you bet, It will also save you from crawling into addiction.

It has something to do with how he bets as compare to his friends, that's why his chances increase because he only bets "irregular". Meaning he might not have the time, or he is carefully choosing when he will bet and the games itself for him to have a great chance to profit.

Might be a good idea for others to try and see how it goes for them. But let's say though, for sports that we follow, like NBA, it's like every night there will be games so it's hard to skip one day and not stake something. Or maybe just bet one and see how it goes. But the thrill might not be the same as when you have two or three or even a parlay bet on that day.

you are right because I can see that gamblers spend more time in Sports betting so I don't know if you don't think that spending 24 hours constantly in the sport betting will guarantee the winning from sport betting, at least we should resolve ourselves into another job so that we can be able to have a bigger source of income, what is happening now for the current youth being relying on Sports Betting gambling it is not good involving ourselves into job it will give us more credit than spending almost all our time in gambling that will not give us the opportunity to win in any gambling platform, it is why I support what you said

If you bet occasionally and win on streak like 8 out of 10 then you should just maintain that pattern and don't try to focus or give it your full attention or to consider it to be what you have to focus full-time, otherwise you will begin to loose. Sometimes this luck often comes when you are better off not taking it to heart. Just like a newbie into gambling will win when they have  no knowledge about gambling completely. But they begin to lose emidiately they begin to focus or make it priority.

I think that if you spend more time in it, you'll become a better analyst. But then, that won't guarantee you a lot of percentage to win all of your bets.

I concur that such an approach of restricting our own participation is the best way of ensuring we are mentally at peace on a day to day basis. He can dream like that, there’s nothing wrong with it. For me, I wouldn’t judge what he’s feeling right now or the kind of hype he has. I’d rather encourage him to keep going.

Honestly, I’d really like to see someone from here succeed in sports betting. That would be nice to see.
