It seems to me that a safety car can equally well improve or worsen a driver's position, and starting from the back rows, even in an ideal case, means minus about a minute. Antonelli is undoubtedly good, but Russell, with such a handicap, is unlikely to lose to him, plus McLaren and Ferrari. I think, given the accidents and other force majeure, Antonelli will finish 5th or 6th.
What do you think of Antonelli's outright win odds of 1.25 this season? It looks solid. Plus you only have to wait a little over 3 months.

That is 25% profitability over your stake which is not a lot considering he will start this race probably in the back of the grid, we also saw that Mercedes heavily suffered with the hard tire so most probably they will go with the soft tire or medium to attack in the beginning stages of the race yet this does not guarantee overtakes will happen really soon. I think if Antonelli had an odd of 1.5 or more which means 50% or more profitability of your stake it would look good. Personally I will fancy Lando Norris to win the Championship by putting little money into him as he should be well over 10 as odds to win the Championship. So about 20 dollars for more than 200 should be a good choice rather than risking 200 for 250 with Antonelli, anyway do not listen to me, not a great winner in bets although in pools I usually end up winning something  .

Norris is priced roughly where you want him to be:

Antonelli, Andrea Kimi - 1.28

Norris, Lando - 9.00

Russell, George - 13.00

Hamilton, Lewis - 13.00

Leclerc, Charles - 26.00

It seems to me that 25-30% is a good compensation for a "reliable" outcome, I like this bet because it is not Kimi vs. the Main Competitor, but Kimi vs. randomness. Like, if suddenly they are all equalized, the advantage he already has will be decisive. And it is obvious that the penalty in Italy is already taken into account in these coefficients, if Kimi somehow performs successfully there, his odds will change for the better, and if not, they will remain more or less the same.

Well guys since is wednesday i just updated the spreadsheet of the leaderboard with the last race results for each user, not so much changes just a exchange position in the second and third spot and our leader opening alittle bit more the gap in front, aside of that i feel like the rest of the pack is now more closer to each other and most of the users are still in the fight for everything.

Maybe im the only one with just a few more guys deep in the relegation zone hahaha.

Yes very nice to see anohter new user win a round in this contest, i like to see the prize spread between the users and not seeing always the same winners, plus he is a old folk so is even better.

The best would be for me to win this every week.

My average points per round when I thoroughly investigated my picks was 31. Blind picking in the last 4 rounds amounts to an average of 39.
This basically means I'm 25% more successful when going fully random

I had one blind pick 3 rounds ago that scored me the highest points ever, and that made me think like you now. But the last 2 rounds were seriously so bad now the average is below that of my 'normal investigation' picks.

My highest score this season was actually the race I started doing picks without research (I did have a pattern). The following one was brutal, but the last few have all been set to a certain pattern, and I feel like I am doing better. Go figure. Just trying to locate a Golden Ratio-ish selection

This gives me plenty of motivation to keep pushing and make the most of every remaining opportunity.

Everyone is still in the race for anything in these remaining last 10 races. We don't know what it will happen but one thing I know for sure is no one will pick Antonelli in Tier 1 and it will be a different battle this time. Also the other tiers I think we need to change as McLaren is definitely not in the second tier anymore. Let's see if we have these changes which can add up to the randomness of our choices and make the Championship even more beautiful, like Norris said, I hope Mercedes get a double disqualification like us in Vegas last year and from there everything can be possible if we manage to win the majority of these remaining races.

What is the pattern you're doing? For me for a while it was to pick Constructor rather than driver but then that required 'research' as well as I can never remember apart from a few who is driving for who lol

I know thanks to his nickname, Kimi we forgot about one thing which is..... he is italian so he is gonna be in his home race, so despite being in a UK/German team like Mercedes he is italian so the will to win is gonna be high for him and for Ferrari as a team.


Despite we are not giving good things from the teams for our contest, since no team has changed position since the start, i feel like in the top ones we at least can see some fight at top.

I have a really big feeling this could be the first season where a big lead can be cut even with 11 races to go (but if it is less because of the war then this is a smaller chance) simply because teams can totally change the cars at several points.

One thing is sure, Monza is never a boring race no matter what happens to each of us in our picks of the pool. This track heavily suits McLaren now known for their even better top speed than Mercedes and there are like very few low speed corners here where McLaren suffers actually so I would again bet on Lando Norris to win here. I don't think of the pool anymore and just enjoy racing because what is meant to be is going to happen (yeah I have become philosophic lately  ).

I see your point, especially since Ferrari seems much stronger than in previous seasons, and even Hamilton appears to have found some pace in the car. However, I can’t imagine many people picking Ferrari just because it’s their home Grand Prix. Their stronger downforce could put them at a disadvantage on such a high speed track.

Hopefully, we’ll see an exciting race with Mercedes, McLaren, Ferrari and Max all fighting at the front. But, I think Mercedes and McLaren have the advantage.

Well guys here is the new round, is gonna be an amazing race in Monza as always in that track, that is a super fun track not only for us to see it but if you have racing in that track in a simulator is also super fun and one of the best when you are not so good at it.

This time since we dont know yet who is gonna be the second driver of RB and who is gonna be in Racing Bulls i left it as RB second driver (whatever he is) and the same for the Racing Bulls.

I have never been paying much attention to what the home advantage looks like in Formula 1. I understand how it can make a huge difference in all kinds of sports where the audience is closely involved and is relatively close and perceivable for players. In handball, basketball, I get it. But is it that much of a factor in formula 1? Does anybody know about data whether drivers tend to win more likely than others when driving in their home country?

I don't really see how as it is so much about technology and the driver focus is probably much less on the audience than it is in most other sports. In tennis you can't just get out another, technologically more advanced racket. Only you can step up your game. In F! there isn't much you can do when you sit in a shitty car.

Looking at the data always is helpful, I mean even when you don't do well in the pool chances are very high you will not receive a penalty because you found nothing, you will find at least a tier for sure. As for you being in 15th place it does not mean you don't have chances to win big as in the races remaining now it will be a lottery as I predict many of them to have at least some rain of course excluding Bahrain and those Arab races if they are going to be held anyway.

Well is a strange case because it only help the home driver and team in a  mental sense, he puts more energy into it because they want to win in their home, in some cases they also know much better the track but with today rules that is not longer possible because you cant train on it plus everyone can make it in the simulator, but in the past the local can know much better his track since he train there and knows every turn and how to take it.

No man, no way, i cant believe im Yuki Tsunoda, what kind of nightmare is this one. I think is one of the worst drivers in the line up. Maybe im one of the worst in the competition also

I'm... Bartoleto. Hands up right here, I have no idea who he is other than a name I recognise from F1. If there were some trivia asking which team he drove for, I'd lose (unless I could I suppose, eliminate Mclaren and Mercedes, and someone smack me if he actually drives for them).

At least Yuki's got a bit of character, or maybe I'm racist and just like Japanese athletes. Oh wait, I am racist.
