Imo, it's not only their last 2 games. The signs were there since their World Cup campaign. They won 2 games in the group stage and those wins came against Panama and Ghana, both teams were ranked outside the top 30 teams prior to the World cup and Croatia only won them by 1-goal margins. No convincing wins.

What you should understand is that Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus will charge his players not to disappoint him because people might start saying that he couldn't win matches without Ronaldo after their fell off. The German side have a lot to train for under Jorgen Klopp. This is a national team; I'm not confident we will see the type of ball we watched at Dortmund and Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp because he can't purchase the players he needs to make his ball work. In the national team, he has no option but to use the players that are available within his reach.

Portugal will have to maintain the winning streak. If not, Ronaldo fans are waiting to see their downfall. It's been an unsuccessful hate watch for two consecutive matches.
