There is not a single educated and smart parent in the world who was like that, so what you are mentioning is a bullshit example. Parents that are smart and educated will be able to reason that the effects of something should be measured in the quality of the output and not in the methodology used. Furthermore, even if they are not apt users of the internet they should be able to reason that it is significantly more efficient to access information using this method than manually going through various books in hopes to find material. Therefore, you are using an example of luddites in order to dismiss claims that are objectively true and because of that you are writing misinformation. Most of the mainstream technology that was adopted by luddites such as yourself has been mostly harmful from the brain, most of the benefits are imaginary and bullshit. The same thing is happening with AI now, on a personal level there is not a single tangible benefit for the average person. I remember those days when I use my dad’s phone to do an assignment, he will be like, I wasn’t concentrating when the teacher was teaching. Funny enough my dad is now using online browser or Ai to browse now he has seen that the internet is a great help to everyone both young and old. But technology can make someone to be lazy if they over use it or miss use it. Every generation judge based on their own experience and what they use when they were young. Furthermore, another positive aspect of AI is that it can speed up our work but even with AI technology it can actually make you more productive. AI can be bad if it makes you lazier and stupider. If you rely entirely on AI for everything without ever trying to think first your critical thinking skills will decline. If you as an employee hand over all your work to AI without review the quality of your work will decline and even stagnate.

Lazy is just empty word for this that comes from a place of insecurity. If we can conserve energy by letting AI do the hard work so that we can do something else, I see that as a win.
People are so trapped in their own overthinking, is it lazy if we do less but getting same result? after AI becoming good enough I always tell AI to do technical analysis for me figuring out every bit and piece of the current market structure, it save me from doing the hardwork of doing the repetitive task and I must say it's been a bliss.

I was using one of the AI tools to do some graphic design and it came out so beautiful as a result. I was very happy with the result I got through AI because creating it, it wasn't stressful and the result was productive.

 Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

Personal skill assessment is always valuable. You will be able to get a lot of work done through AI, but will it give you much mental satisfaction? The work you will be able to do using graphics tools will not be very perfect, but there will be a mixture of your skills. Although the work done through AI is relatively perfect, the work of graphic design is not so perfect, and others will easily understand that they are not real. The issue of laziness can not be totally avoided in this regard since people believe that they can not do without getting things done through shortcuts, they are the more reason why AI will take over their jobs because business owners and companies will not be willing to  give employments to people who would depend on AI to do jobs when they can also use AI to get it done for free.

The workforce will have a significant reduction in employment especially in the private sector but the government understands the effects it will have on the economy and the rate of hardship it will bring it they decide to use more of AI in their offices.

Those who adopt and use AI will become more efficient; those who reject it will likely even lose their jobs. And the best example here is: keeping paper-based accounting records, making entries in a ledger, and doing calculations on a calculator, compared to those who have abandoned ledgers and calculators in favor of a COMPUTER. Artificial intelligence is making people life easier in past people were more into learning skills whether they were related to graphic designing or writing but there are different AI tools available in today's era instead of learning different skills to perform their daily life task one just give commands to AI softwares and they perform those tasks in seconds.
Your analysis is okay in certain cases some people uses AI to do their task in second instead of learning different skills that is making them entirely dependent on these tools and making them lazy but AI is also enhancing efficiency and reducing the human error as it is available 24/7.

Personally I'm very open to AI since I learned how to use it I have realized you can benefit a lot and save a ton of time if you use it correctly as for myself I use it in many different domains , like video creation (those ai stories) prompt, images, videos and graphics, just as you are doing and in my case, I only have seen great benefits from using it the right way

Hm, AI can't do that... how can AI give people what they want? I guess you gave AI too much power, but it's just a tool that can help with some things.

And I am not sure how to understand "there won't be a reason to learn or work"... you will either find motivation for that (learn, work, earn, live), and AI can help you in achieving that. In the end, it's something we all face at some points in life... we try to be better by using what we can, or we simply surrender and stay where we are (or fall).

This is the fact, people overestimate and rely too much on AI.

AI graphics are detectable and not everyone are interested in AI generated image or graphic designs. This forum is one good example when it comes to AI use. Most if not all contest threads on the forum prohibited the use of AI to create content in the contest.

It's okay for personal use but you won't go far if you monetise it. Who do you expect to pay money for what they can do themselves using the same procedure (AI)? Moreover, you can not make a perfect design even with Ai unless you learn how to make use of the tools. It makes things easier but it doesn't take away the effort you'll put in to get a better result.
