AI has come to make people become lazy

With time things keep advancing, as they do with the technology. In another ten years of time we'll see something bigger and better than AI. In my understanding, AI hasn't made anyone lazy. It has made the works of common people easier. Even now we need to work on it. We need to learn the machine language. Because we need to feed in a language that is understood by the AI engine to get the perfect outcome. In the past when websites got into large-scale usage, there was similar talk that it'd make people lazy. In reality, what it did was completely different and gave opportunities as well as made things easier. Even the AI is made by humans, and they keep on pushing themselves for better innovation than the present.

AI didn't come to make people lazy but to help them solve some difficult problem that manpower can not do. But it seems that human are beginning to be dependent on this AI for everything. And now they are becoming afraid of what AI would become in the future, but for me I don't care as long as it help to solve some multitasking problem. People only see the disadvantage of what it would become rather the help it would render to humanity. People should embrace AI and learn how to utilize it to be helpful to everyone instead of seeing it as what has come to make us lazy.

Completely false, the current version of "AI" is exclusively only solving problems that humans can do and is mostly focused on the easiest tasks possible. Searching, designing, prototyping, chatbot stuff, therefore any claims that they are "solving difficult" problems is bullshit. The current AI does not even have the cognition of a toddler, if it could be said that it has any cognition at all. Being able to spit out correct answers to some questions is not cognition.

Artificial intelligence is making people life easier in past people were more into learning skills whether they were related to graphic designing or writing but there are different AI tools available in today's era instead of learning different skills to perform their daily life task one just give commands to AI softwares and they perform those tasks in seconds.
Your analysis is okay in certain cases some people uses AI to do their task in second instead of learning different skills that is making them entirely dependent on these tools and making them lazy but AI is also enhancing efficiency and reducing the human error as it is available 24/7.

Correction, that does not make your life easier -- it makes you more stupid. Learn the difference. Most people are already extremely incompetent, and here you are advocating that they should not learn the skills but instead let AI do it for them.  Next time a child needs medicine, let's ask the AI for the right dose and then wait for the "oops, the dose can actually kill a human child" after it dies. Personally I'm very open to AI since I learned how to use it I have realized you can benefit a lot and save a ton of time if you use it correctly as for myself I use it in many different domains , like video creation (those ai stories) prompt, images, videos and graphics, just as you are doing and in my case, I only have seen great benefits from using it the right way

In most of the cases you are not saving anything, that is what none of you AI luddites who pretend to be forward thinkers understand. You are trading learning time and skill building for free time, which is not a saving of anything it is a tradeoff. Therefore, stop hallucinating benefits by repeating marketing bullshit.

AI graphics are detectable and not everyone are interested in AI generated image or graphic designs. This forum is one good example when it comes to AI use. Most if not all contest threads on the forum prohibited the use of AI to create content in the contest.

It's okay for personal use but you won't go far if you monetise it. Who do you expect to pay money for what they can do themselves using the same procedure (AI)? Moreover, you can not make a perfect design even with Ai unless you learn how to make use of the tools. It makes things easier but it doesn't take away the effort you'll put in to get a better result.

They are pure junk and laziness, and even when you can't detect them it shows dishonesty in the person trying to misrepresent themselves as an artist -- a massive character flaw.

You’re very correct, every new technology that’s useful makes our parents think that we the young ones are lazy. I remember those days when I use my dad’s phone to do an assignment, he will be like, I wasn’t concentrating when the teacher was teaching. Funny enough my dad is now using online browser or Ai to browse now he has seen that the internet is a great help to everyone both young and old. But technology can make someone to be lazy if they over use it or miss use it. Every generation judge based on their own experience and what they use when they were young. So technology doesn’t make a person lazy, it helps people to be fast and right on time.

In China, students are advised to use smart tools for learning, which has helped their young ones grow their knowledge. One important aspect of AI in society is language teaching. Last 2 years, my sister has taught English Language online. The students were mostly China, Japan and other Asian countries who cant speak English fluently. But of recent she said, the number of student has reduced because AI apps are now teaching these English for free. This is a typical example of the important of AI for the upcoming generation.

I was using one of the AI tools to do some graphic design and it came out so beautiful as a result. I was very happy with the result I got through AI because creating it, it wasn't stressful and the result was productive.

 Normally, if you give me a computer device to do graphic design I wont be able to perform it better but with AI it was success. Since AI can give me good graphic design, I dont think it will have that urge to go learn graphic design.  I think AI already have the result of what people are supposed to do with their hands. There wont be reason to learn or to work because AI can give people what they want without stress.

I notice this more and more every day. For example seeing a student at their graduation showing off on his laptop all the AI generated content he used to pass the exams. Firstly it's an incredibly dumb thing to do, advertising to the world how you've been cheating to get your degree when it can be easily stripped away at any time. Secondly, relying on AI does not teach you the critical thinking skills and embed the actual knowledge required to become an expert at any knowledge. You're really only cheating yourself and there will be a time where you hit a wall or cannot access AI but have to think for yourself. Unless you've made a conscious effort to take in all the information up to that point you are just going to flounder.

For learning, AI does a very good job. Honestly, I think its capabilities should be limited. Just to avoid people from taking advantage of it. Like AI being solely used for learning and assisting people. Not doing their all of their work. An unbounded AI would prove to be dangerous for our humanity in the long run. Terminator's "SkyNet" gives us a hint of what AI would do if it's completely "unchained" and self-aware.

Elon Musk and Bill Gates predicted AI will take over most human jobs. Therefore, a future where people will become lazy would be inevitable. At least, most of the people. The elderly will continue to do things the "old fashioned way", regardless of recent advancements in society. We'll see how far AI goes.
