When a war starts, it is not positive for anyone. Maybe many people are not directly affected by the effects of war. But there are some places where if a war begin, it creates problems all over the world. The Middle East is a place where war means instability in the entire world. If the place where about 30% of the world's fuel oil is supplied is closed, then the huge shortage of oil cannot be filled. Moreover, if the same situation arises in the case of LNG, all the countries of the world will be greatly affected. The instability that will be created worldwide is no less than the war. The world as we have it is a global community. We might be distanced from where the impact of an action was exacted but, that doesn’t keep us away from the ripple effect that comes after. We all share this world together and through international trades, we tend to provide and access that which isn’t available within our locality. That is what war, chaos and conflict situations take from us. If Ukraine effects europe then imo the middle east is certain to have a negative feedback on America as a continent and USA as a country every though USA has oil there are deeper reasons why war is rarely the best choice.

Since Iran is the main supplier of fuel globally, we shall experience the shortage of fuel in middle east and many other countries. Every country will have to bear the consequences of this war and it isn't going to be good.

Not only that, when you attack a country with much greater power then sometimes they will resort to asymmetric warfare which might mean that counter attacks are conducted in places that you do not expect with fallout hitting a lot of different innocent people. That being said, it seems like Iran has already been heavily depleted and let's hope that encourages them to the negotiating table even though they've been bullied into it by their arch rival Israel. It'd be nice if there was some sort of plan or future idea for what America wants, because it is easy to destroy but much harder to rebuild. There are no real stated aims to what has happened, beyond "we had to stop them getting a nuclear bomb" which has been the excuse used far too many times in the Middle East with scant evidence to support it.

i have already seen a bus company limiting their travel time due to the expenses of the gas meaning less people would be brought to and from their homes. so this war affects all of us even if you are not anywhere near the middle east.

Unemployment will increase and the war will become more terrible due to the impact of global instability and recession. This is such an "American" way of approaching this. While there is no doubt that the government of Iran was a bad one, you think the only people who die are the people who are government officials?
