Having a hope is not really bad but it can be very bad if you are hoping on something that is very difficult to get. Yes you might hope on someone and it will surely help because they have emotions, but when your hope is on gamble you will lose a lot because it's not designed to know our emotions or how much we have lost.

A formal college of mine entrenched from work and life became highly unbearable for him as he has no where to go, after submitting application to many other company for job and none was calling him for job, he later  became a gambling addict as he will always go to gambling shop once he have any money with him. You are right about the things you mentioned that can possibly make some people to be reckless and do things they don't have to do but in all those things are not supposed to make someone gamble not to the point of even been reckless or carried away because of what happened. Life doesn't end when something bad happen, dream doesn't end or stop when something bad happen, we just have to keep pushing and believing it will be better instead of making the who situation worst. I agree, with experienced and good control of yourself you may able to preventgetting hook too much, though it's always on you that control your emotion and doing it with moderation can let you enjoy things while rsking allocated budget, knowing when to stop and when to accept the outcome will lead you to keep that mindset and will save your butt to aggressively thinks of possible ways either to recover or to chase for more profits.

Moderate gambling comes from self control, which is lack by most gamblers. Majority are been carried away by the hope of winning even when they are losing. This made them lose self control by trying to win back all lose. What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

Apart from the fact that there are some who do it for fun, I think we should also consider those who are actually addicted to it. It’s more like saying, you don’t understand why people who smoke and are addicted to nicotine can’t stop smoking, to a non-smoker it looks like an easy-peasy thing but to someone who has been in that situation before, they know the struggle and the mental stress they go through before being able to overcome it.

Just to echo what I’ve said before, there are some who gamble for fun, some who gamble because of hope and some who gamble because of addiction. So everyone has their own reason and why you might be thinking it’s stupid to them it’s just normal and they have their vision ahead of them (I’m not saying it’s not stupid tho). Lol

To be frank, allocating specific amount is that important to those who are gambling because with these amounts you would be able to plan yourself properly and understand how to lose them, because when you lose it you wouldn't be that expectant to be winning at all time as gambling is above winning consistently. We can win all the time, but whenever you used an amount you would be able to lose it wouldn't affect you in any way rather what you would be looking at is the entertainment you derived through gambling.

Regarding outsmarting casinos, actually if someone understands how online casino algorithms work,
they may be able to find loopholes or bugs that the casino is not aware of so that it can be used to generate a winning streak.

there are some who gamble for fun, some who gamble because of hope and some who gamble because of addiction. So everyone has their own reason and why you might be thinking it’s stupid to them it’s just normal and they have their vision ahead of them (I’m not saying it’s not stupid tho). Lol

It looks like some gamblers get addicted to gamble during the first few days they started gambling. The fact that they do not understand what gamble is about, is the reason why they rush into gamble as they believed making money from it will be cool. However it's really cool when a gambler win a bet (especially if it's a huge amount of money). But we shouldn't expect much from gamble to the extent that when we lose we eventually get angry and stat chasing the losses. High expectations and lack of risk management is one reason why most gamblers lose a lot of money.
