In sports betting, who do you really trust? The tipsters who show profit for a while, or yourself believing that in the long run you can be profitable if you keep learning.

It pays to be open-minded and check or accept outside sources. This is gambling, we are trying to get the best options or results, so I don't mind checking their tips and compare it on my own to do an analysis, and if the tipster's bets make more sense, then I'm more willing to change my bet.

Trusting yourself or a tipster doesn't guarantee you will win $$$ right? You have your knowledge and a tipster believes in their knowledge. With AI having damn near every stat you can ask about, tipster instincts and insights, and your own instincts and insight you can utilize all of it and make the best bet IMO. No need to only rely on 1, even with all 3 though, it does not guarantee a profit. Anything can happen in sports and games can be fixed.

I guess the easy answer is that you should trust yourself more than others. Maybe you can look at the tipsters and see if you have both the same result. The problem though might arise if you have different result. In that case, I will still go with my bet.

That is the thing though with new bettors around, they followed supposedly good tipster, but it's not a guarantee profit, it might be better if they will have to learn sports betting themselves instead of blindly trusting those tipster. So that's for me, developed my own skills and analysis to be profitable.

I have a bad experience with tipsters. My friend and I once bought tips from a tipster because we saw that most of his bets were winning. But when we followed his tips, the results were far from what we expected and the tipster just disappeared. Luckily I only bet a small amount at that time, but I feel bad for my friend who spent a lot of money on it. Since then I no longer trust tipsters no matter how good their results look. Now I rely on my own analysis instead of depending on someone else's picks. Sometimes I still check tipster recommendations as a reference, but I always combine it with my own analysis before making any decision.

If that's one I'm followed I definitely tail it but will probably research more rather than just some blind tailing as it will not give me more edge on my bet, what gives more edge is that you got idea from the tipster but you also do your own research and trust your gut. I definitely not comfortable if they are in  a winning streak tbh because just one wrong tail and you go all in you'd definitely be out of bankroll.

When a sports bettor gains knowledge about how his favorite game works and the options in sports betting, then I believe he can do it himself. It's just laziness that sometimes ties us to not doing the research because we either do not have time or we are just pure lazy.
The internet is available for everyone, and we could simply Google all the stats, records, injury reports, weather, and so on and forth that could affect the game and the players. There will be times that we will lose because games can change all of a sudden due to different reasons, but for me, it feels better if I lose using my own prediction.

I think this is how forecasters make money by misleading people until they realize it's a hoax. But "guys who have sobered up from deception" are replaced by new naive people, and the process of earning forecasters on deception continues.

You don't have to rely only on your own analysis to predict your bet, you can use a tipster, maybe to compare your own analysis but the important thing is that whatever strategy that you choose to bet either yours or others let the final decision be yours. When you decide on a bet and place it you're not supposed to blame anybody if you lose the game because it was your decision to bet your money on it. No prediction is a guarantee to give you wins it doesn't matter your skills and experience or the skills and experiences of whoever you're relying on to bet and win, you still still need luck at the end of the day that is why it's called gambling.

It's obvious i will trust my own pick. I don't have to rely upon others prediction who could also be a trap for me. There are soooooo many of tipsters are lacking of transparent, and potentially to be scammers. It's also making my time be more efficient caused by i don't need to figure out, which is legit or scam tipster.

Trusting tipster is just another waste of time when you can gamble it yourself. So always trust yourself. If you're winning your own bet, you will be so proud of it.

Focusing on developing my own analysis is better, even though the results may not be visible at first. But if we consistently analyze, we will eventually see improvement.

Trusting others with sports betting picks is not a good idea. Even if they show seemingly good results, we'll never know what they're hiding. After all, wouldn't it be more convincing if people actually showed good results? So they've already filtered the overall results of their bets.

Some tipsters are damn good, if you are someone who don't have all the time to do research yourself then you can use a tipster, if you are someone who don't watch a lot of sport games but you feel like risking someone on bets, tipsters are the best partners you gonna get, I choose to ignore tipsters for few reasons.

1. I have the time to do the analysis myself.
2. Winning is not a must, I risk only what I can afford to lose everytime.

The colorful videos bullshit are all over facebook, Whatssap and telegram. Not only beginners fall for them, even experienced bettors who just got desperate to grab wins can loose their sense of discernment and fall for the trap. They exploited facebook post edit bug in the past, and when facebook fixed it to show when your post got edited, they moved on to using design software and AI to create fake winning tickets to entice people.

You can always place their games if you find it enticing, But be sure not to pay them any dime, else you're just a catfish in their pepper-soup. People would always fall, since we still have lots of greedy and desperate people around.

I have rarely seen real tipster providing free and easy real "tips" for a match... and in general it's really hard to trust a tipster in a match that you don't know.
Likewise if you had to gamble in A or B there are always suggestions and explanations about both options
If you know a specific sport it can be interesting to read some other opinion. Otherwise you are just going to play blindly...

"Trust" is really subjective, but I guess majority of gamblers here really do analyze the game first and bet on what the result of our own analysis, on how we see the games as opposed to some tipster. Maybe some tipster will provide good insights that we might take into consideration. But we can also have that kind of numbers that they are looking a as well so we might see the same ML or over and under tips. In any event though, I will do agree with the community to developed our own and bet on it and not just lean on sports tipster and they might also mislead us.

There are tipsters who shared their analysis on why they ended up with such a verdict. I'd like these kinds of tipsters as long as their reasoning and judgment are based on factors that make sense and not just a simple candy prediction.

But if I saw some random tipsters saying their prediction without any backed-up support, it's an auto-ignore for me regardless of their win rate.

Though at the end, the final verdict should be based on our own analysis. We just need to consider tips as a reference.

You can get those tips from them if it is free. But if it is not, doubt the authenticity of their tips. Still best to trust your gut and follow your instincts. If you know the sports very well and you are updated with the happenings surrounding the sport, much better to follow your instincts.

There are free ones and actually some of them give winning tips at the start, but suddenly they will tell you that if you want to continue receiving tips you need to subscribe.
It’s like a free trial, and once you enter that’s when you get trapped.

I’ve read a lot of stories like that, so I wouldn’t try it. And even if I somehow find a legit one I would still hesitate.
I mean there’s no better feeling in gambling than being profitable through your own effort.

Well, everyone of us has our own preference when it comes to betting but we only have one goal which is to win. Some bettors, if they feel they see an opportunity to win even from a tipster, will try it, and I’m pretty sure they are aware of the risk associated with it.

Well as for me, if there’s a tipster I might follow but I would still be cautious. I mean I would not go all in, and if that tipster starts dictating how much I should bet then that is already a red flag for me (I’ll detach myself from them).

Win or lose, I am happier with bets that I choose through the process I do myself. Although sometimes I also have fun placing bets based on friends' predictions, I don't take it seriously. When hanging out, we often hear friends who speak the loudest about their predictions. I just want to have fun placing bets with their predictions.

Tipster can be profitable depending on what tipster do you follow and your timing of your bet with them since they do experience losing streak too just like normal gambler.

You will be profitable if you will manage to ride on most of their pick that is successful.

In my case, I don’t use tipster nowadays because I can do a sports analysis on my own with good winning percentage but when I do follow some before during my newbie time to gain experience while still exploring.
