How do you spot untrustworthy casino?

Few months ago I came across one casino that felt very untrustworthy.

Despite that feeling I used it because I had some free bonuses there.

After a while I realised that my gut feeling was right and that this casino should not be trusted.

I took the time later and analysed what was different from other trustworthy casinos and found few red flags.

First red flag was that the casino was pretty new and unknown to me, I didn’t know it's reputation or anything about it.

Second, there was no information about about minimum withdrawal limits available on webpage.
Honestly I knew there was something fishy going on since they didn't have basic information like this one transparently written.

Third red flag was customer service that gave misleading and wrong information. After asking them questions about wagering requirements for specific games they gave me misleading information, and when I called them on that they accused me with some arbitrary accusations.

So it is good idea to watch out for such red flags, specially when trying out new casino.

I start to suspect any casino that promotes itself with misleading information, like "we are not a KYC casino," while deep down they are, and also some that flash some total number of payouts they have made or an unbelievable number of registered users.

Once I see too much of them praising themselves, I start to suspect before I even look at other things, and most times there is never a visible sign; you just go with your instinct without relying on anything, because some of these scam casinos don't leave anything that makes them look suspicious in the first place.

Did you know that Betmoco was recently accused of being a scam site, I already suspected they would be a scam before the accusations were made against them.

When you lose in the original games, make sure that you really lost fairly, not just because of bad luck. No casino have that information if I am not wrong, you will have that minimum withdrawal limit on the wallet page under every crypto because each one got different limits. Check for the domain details, if it just registered then better avoid it which can be a completely legitimate casino but I won't be taking the risk to test them with my money.

I also look for some red flags before depositing by hard earned money in casinos which I have never used before. One of the first things I do is indeed to research on the time the service has been available and the URL registered for people to access to it.
Then I take a look at their Terms of service to see if they are clear enough for anyone to verify and understand, knowing the wagering requirement and their KYC policies is a must.

If those first points are cleared, I see whether they offer customer service to all their gamblers or they have preference to only offer such support to VIP gamblers with an accumulated wager of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Those points you mentioned are also valid, I would also chat with customer service if they are trustworthy. If they offer misleading or useless information I would never depositing anything on such casino.

Some too good to be true will definitely turn to scams. Claiming not a KYC casino wherein majority already require KYC is already a red flag because their introduction itself seems suspicious already.

Personally, I would rather value an honest casino and stick to it even with some flaws than to go with a casino who are clearly making lies just to catch attention and just to put other casinos at a bad place in order to steal the spotlight.

I very rarely try new sites because I prefer to see that there are people involved and active there before actually trying them out. Even if the site is clearly active on this forum, I'm willing to give it a try however outside of the forum  I very rarely visit the site because for me the sites on the forum feel very comfortable and even most of them have a very good level of trust.

Nowadays gambling is very popular with almost everyone so there will always be many new sites popping up. Therefore we have to be more selective in choosing even if we are a bettor with a small amount. However when we lose money due to the slightest fraud that makes our money disappear it will always be regretted. therefore I dont dare to try something new that is not absolutely certain about its credibility and popularity.

If there are no clear terms and conditions from the start, for me that's a very red flag. Its uncertainty will never push us to gamble more fearing that everything will turn into a scam, but will look for other casino that has clear terms and conditions from the very beginning.
