How do you spot untrustworthy casino?

If a csinoa leaves too many requests where there is credible accusations with evidence unresolved... Then of course they aren't trust worthy.

This forum is pretty good at making sure casinos ar held accountable if they do something shity. For a casino to have its reputation ruined certainly feels like a business threat. Hopefully in the future big casinos won't even think to wrong anybody their players.

I wonder what are red flags that you guys watch for in order to avoid scams?

The first red flag you mentioned makes sense but it's not always correct. Every reputable casino started one day. There are some new casinos that are entering the gambling industry to build reputation and become a force. So many new casinos on the forum have proved that they can be trustworthy. So it's not all new casinos that are fraudulent.

Let me mention that casinos that claim that they are registered or licensed but are not is a big red flag. There are casinos that write on their platform that they are licensed but are not. This deception or lies is something to be careful about.

I start to suspect any casino that promotes itself with misleading information, like "we are not a KYC casino," while deep down they are, and also some that flash some total number of payouts they have made or an unbelievable number of registered users.

Once I see too much of them praising themselves, I start to suspect before I even look at other things, and most times there is never a visible sign; you just go with your instinct without relying on anything, because some of these scam casinos don't leave anything that makes them look suspicious in the first place.

Yeah it's obvious a good catch for untrustworthy casinos because you mustn't sell to the public as information about your casino offers and yet you don't have all of what you're promising to the public. It's a red flag and any wise gambler would quick avoid such casino. Sometimes why it happens that these casinos are still getting patronage is due to greed of some gamblers who wants to jump at the Juicy offers which sounds too good to be true, but at the med they get nuked and their funds gone.

Few months ago I came across one casino that felt very untrustworthy.

Despite that feeling I used it because I had some free bonuses there.

After a while I realised that my gut feeling was right and that this casino should not be trusted.

I took the time later and analysed what was different from other trustworthy casinos and found few red flags.

First red flag was that the casino was pretty new and unknown to me, I didn’t know it's reputation or anything about it.

Second, there was no information about about minimum withdrawal limits available on webpage.
Honestly I knew there was something fishy going on since they didn't have basic information like this one transparently written.

Third red flag was customer service that gave misleading and wrong information. After asking them questions about wagering requirements for specific games they gave me misleading information, and when I called them on that they accused me with some arbitrary accusations.

So it is good idea to watch out for such red flags, specially when trying out new casino.

It’s hard for me personally to tell the difference between trustworthy and untrustworthy casinos. Generally, all casinos are likely to do the same thing make people trust them. They do this to profit from the many people who trust them and then place bets by depositing their money. I’m not entirely sure what the answer is, but perhaps one factor is reasonable bonus offers or promotions. So if I come across a casino offering extremely large bonuses or promotions, that might be a red flag even though casinos do market themselves by tempting people with various bonuses, we should at least first consider whether those bonuses make sense or not.

It is very good if the casino has ANN thread but it is not 100% guarantee that casino is legitimate. I'm saying this because the casino I mentioned in OP has ANN thread, though it is pretty inactive. After scam accusation thread was made and their shady practices were exposed no one wanted to participate in their raffles any more and their reputation suffered pretty badly.

I believe they're not sponsoring any signature campaign on the forum and that may be another red flag of a casino with an announcement thread on this forum but still doing their shady activities. I might have missed in my last post but I will say here that I mostly try the casinos that have active representatives on this forum, the casinos with announcement threads but with no active representatives can't be trusted. There're a good number of casinos that're active on this forum and they're sponsoring for signature campaigns for many years, and in my opinion one should go for those casinos rather than going for any casino.

For example, the bonus is too fantastically generous. I'm not particularly keen on bonuses, because they need to be won back, and this almost never happens. But some people register in many casinos, including because of the bonuses for beginners, which work as a bait. Personally, the casino's loyal attitude towards VPN is actually more important to me. Because I live in a country that requires a VPN to access almost everything. Therefore, a VPN is often needed not to cheat on the casino's license terms, but simply to play a gambling game.

So now I evaluate reliability primarily from this position. If a casino is tough on VPN, I immediately ignore it, even if it is super reliable in everything else. Well, those who don't have such problems just don't understand it. Just like some people think that bitcoin is as reliable as a rock, not realizing that bitcoin as a system, on the contrary, is very fragile, naively believing that the Internet is part of nature and has always existed and will always exist...

A casino being unable to respond to questions or address complaints does not auger well when there is no active representative of the casino. The fact that the team is actively communicating indicates that they are interested in their reputation and users. I would also say that casinos that would sponsor long-term signature campaigns tend to take care of their good image and, therefore, it is usually safer to use those platforms than unknown or inactive casinos.

Not running a signature campaign is a red flag? But what about people have different vision on how to promote their product? There are casinos that dont have budgets as top casinos, or they might focus on placing a banner somewhere. What about situation when casino had a signature campaign, but then has stopped it? Flag turns from greed to red? I am sure that not every casino that is on first page of Gambling section has running signature campaign, active ANN representative, but they are reputed and trusted.

Your points are valid and right , maybe I will look into it because it’s hard for me to identify trustworthy and untrustworthy casino , I just look for the ones that are easy for me to use , and I like trying out different casinos, but one thing I usually do is fund little amount to see how it operate,  especially those new ones because even licensed casino can be used for fraud , all there activities, terms and conditions are usually the same , whenever it’s not favorable or convenient for me I stop, but what I sometimes look into most times while trying out new Casino is there bounce , game selection, and also review from forum , Twitter where others share their experiences, with such you can tell if they are trustworthy to gamble with big amount .

Yes, there were examples when casinos had held signature campaign, but in the end it turned out bad for the customers. One example is freebitco.in casino that was higly esteemed by community. Now they are in process of shutting down and there are doubts that users will receive their funds.
