It is almost getting close to the end of August and the Strait of Hormuz still remains closed, it seems that while Oman are trying to sort out issues on the Strait of Hormuz with Iran in order to get oils flowing out from the crucial waterway in the Middle East. On the other hand, Donald Trump are issuing threats to bomb Oman too for negotiating with Iran on the Strait of Hormuz without getting the USA involved in the negotiation, I think Donald Trump does not even understand that Iran will never surrender to the terms and conditions about the issues on Strait of Hormuz laid out by Donald Trump and it seems that the oil prices are certainly going to get higher.
The problem with Trump and his administration is that they always try to twist the narrative. I don't believe the strait is completely closed as the US and allies keep stating. It's simply under Iran's control and ships can transit through it so long as they abide by the guidelines. That is what they call it being closed while with the "US blockade", the very hypocrites consider it as open and secured We may not be getting accurate information about the actual events there, but it is certain that the transportation of goods through that region is not going on normally. Iran or the US forces are trying to maintain their occupation there, but the interesting thing is that the IRGC is in a more advantageous position than the US forces. They will get additional advantages within their own borders and they are actually not as weak as Trump thought Iran was. Trump is expressing his opinion on every issue of the war and promoting himself. The people of most countries consider his frequent changes in position as a business move. This is reducing his own value when everyone sees that the real situation is the opposite of his statements.

In recent days, have you found any of his angry statements? Haha, he is more chill now and enjoying the whole scenario. What is think the reason is? US right now is not importing oil from the Strait of Hormuz, which means it's now independent of this path (only for now). It is importing its major oil supply from Venezuela. And for this edge, Trump is taking advantage of all these situations. In recent times, I was reading a news headline where Trump was saying that most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country, against Iran. So, if the US keep importing its oil supply from Venezuela, then they don't care about any other country, and they will keep the blockade in place against Iran and will not leave any time soon. This will damage Iran more economically.

This is what politicians are known for because, from the beginning of the war, there has been no good progress. And Trump is one of the most complicated because, by now, I feel they should find a way of selling and measuring the Strait of Hormuz, now open. After all, who are they now fighting for? Because the economic damage has been happening for a long time, and them getting their oil from Venezuela is just another strategy to make things easy for themselves, and they have sought themselves out and left others with impossible options, relying on the Re: Strait of Hormuz. And for this edge, Trump is taking advantage of all these situations. In recent times, I was reading a news headline where Trump was saying that most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country, against Iran. It appears to be the case currently. The way things are going, they need to be more considerate because even the lives of the soldiers matter. We also need to restore economic value because a lot of things have been happening. I didn't expect things to turn out the way everyone wanted them to, but nothing seems to be changing after the US and Trump intervened. And the way things are now, they are leaving us lost in this whole situation.

No wonder they had to go secure Venezuela's oil by taking Maduro out so incase the war escalates and make the oil price go higher or stop them from getting oil from the middle east it won't affect them much cause they already have Venezuela's oil. Then place a blockade to stop Iran from making sells and further crumble their economy. Trump of lately acts like a clown, this minute he's serious with his statement and the next he's trolling about taking over the Straight Of Hormuz, i also saw a news where it was stated that the US has taken full control of that straight, can you confirm that?

I predicted this behavior last year before the US regime even began its terrorist attacks. Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5563170.0The US regime has been disrupting the global economy and trade routes in the false hope to disrupt China and thwart its economic and technological advancements. They've been failing at that too but that's their current plan and the reason why the regime's mouthpieces keep saying contradicting stuff and keep lying 24/7 is exactly that. We should expect more disruption and destabilization by the regime in other places of the world as well. Part of that failure is because as I've explained in my first post in this topic over a month ago, Iran hasn't actually closed it's own strait! What's imposed is restrictions on who uses these Iranian waters. Basically anything that belongs to the enemy and its terrorist axis is banned and other ships from friendly countries have been passing through fine. Granted it is only like 1% of the previous traffic but they are still getting through and many of them head toward China As much as the US wants to thwart China's economic power, it will never succeed. That's because China is already too big to fail. The US should've stopped this monster when it had the chance. Now it's already too late. Iran recently demanded oil trades to be performed in Chinese Yuan instead of the US Dollar. If countries crossing the Strait with their vessels decide to pay in Yuan, the USD would be nothing but doomed. De-dollarization is right around the corner. Therefore, the US' celebration of a stronger USD is short-lived. Trump ultimately failed in Making America Great again. It's worse than it was before. Even Republicans are rejecting the idea of a prolonged conflict with Iran. Remember the promise of "no more wars"? Or Trump's ambitions to become the "Peace President"? They were nothing but lies. The midterms are getting closer, so anything can happen.

Why does it feel like they strategically want the strait of Hormuz closed, I mean intentionally. It is the same way they want Ukraine shooting Russian refineries and Yemen shooting Saudi Arabian refineries. I can not explain why but I always have this sinking feeling this is always what the United States of America wanted all along so they can not only cut fertilizer supplies and also be the one nation selling oil gas and energy to all of Europe and Asia. This is just a thought playing up in my skull thought. Anybody here thinks that way too?!

The midterms are getting closer, so anything can happen.gm The game is not over yet, the chance for both still wide open and there are many possibility but it is not as simple as US failed stop China or China destroy the dollar, it could become an eternal rivalvy. Many narrative today that US economy will be defeated by China over the next 10 years only by comparing their GDP, many people forget that it doesn't mean when China become richer then US become increasingly poor. Maybe US already realized that they can not stop China so their strategy by slowing down the catch up process through many economic pressure such as trade war. I don't think dedolarization will bring the collapse of the USD, even its still far away for yuan can replace USD, even petro dollar change to petro yuan still cannot replace the USD, because yuan needdeep bond market, institutional trust, global liquidity and network effect which where the US still dominates. Both have structural strengths and weaknesses. Will US use military action to crippling and slowing down China ?

"Iran has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz" - that’s just as much a IRGC fake as their ranting, "We’ll easily destroy the U.S. Navy" Such "mental masturbation" - verbal self-gratification for the sake of mental satisfaction, without any actual events to back it up - is typical of regimes like this What else is left for them to do? Tell the truth? Well, that’s "like death"… So here’s the bottom line: - Anyone who wants to can block the Strait of Hormuz - No one has exclusive rights to it - Each side claims whatever it wants for itself, including the U.S. - it would be foolish to deny it

That is precisely how things are looking because the Strait of Hormuz has been closed for a long time, and the price of crude keeps rising because it is becoming more and more difficult for the common people, as crude has become one of the most important resources. We don't know what Trump is doing because, as it is now, they seem to be getting their fuel from Venezuela, and it is becoming like others will have to deal with this. I don't know why others are keeping quiet because it is just another way of making matters worse. Because this has affected a lot of economic crises and all because of global politics.

But one thing that cant be denied is that the US isn't only one of the countries least affected by it, but also the one benefiting the most. The US is currently the world's largest oil producer and exporter after successfully nationalizing oil production in Venezuela. At the same time, their biggest rival is being hit the hardest. Most of China's oil imports pass through the strait of Hormuz. Two birds, one stone. So your suspicion is entirely justified.

The only reason Donald Trump can not leave Iran and the Strait of Hormuz right should be as a result of the usage of the Yuan currency. I mean more like to prevent it from being used to trade through the Strait of Hormuz, but what can they even do since Iranians are still in control? They are benefiting a whole lot especially from their trades to some parts in Europe and Asia. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has not halt their passage of oil from the Strait of Hormuz. I don't know how it is done but they have been using trains to transport the necessary oil needed to China. But it does seem like China has stopped purchasing at the moment. We will sit what happens. Iranians are also refusing to sit down if isreali regime furthers their attack towards Turkey who is also a member of NATO. Benjamin Netanyahu should be called to order. They're destabilising the middle east.

I think whats makes US Navy looks half hearted, they do not want to treat the Pacific region as a secondary priority. If they focused on Hormuz strait, China will got bigger strategic space beside that Trump realize what will happened to Rusia, China, North Korea and Taiwan when most of US attention and assets are absorbed in the Middle East. The other consideration both US and Iran know that Iran's goal not to defetaed US but to make US bleed as much as possible to win the war. I don't know whether US will change its tactical strategy to gest sustainable control over Iran of course with cheaper price. Simply said US did not unleash its navy superiority in full capabilities so Iran not face utter devastation.

I have said this many time before. The war in the Middle East is about the petrodollars dominance being under greater threat than ever. Any other reason is just an excuse to hide the US's real intention, and they probably will not stop until they achieve their goal. As for China, as far as I know, they have been trying to increase oil imports from Russia and Brazil since the war began. But honestly, I couldn't find anything showing that they are still able to import oil through the Strait of Hormuz. I would really like to know what their strategy would be if the blockade of the strait continue for a long time. Yeah, we will see what happen.

As much as the US wants to thwart China's economic power, it will never succeed. That's because China is already too big to fail. The US should've stopped this monster when it had the chance. Now it's already too late.
Exactly. Basically over the past 20+ years when the US regime has been warmongering in West Asia (the War of Terror aka World War 4) that cost them at least $20 trillion, Chinese were just spending that money building their economy and their infrastructure. So they are already 20+ years and $20 trillion ahead. The other problem is also their models. US economic model depends on running a Ponzi scheme called Petrodollar and to run that they need to control West Asian resources (among others like Venezuela which they took over aggressively), something that requires all that warmongering which is extremely costly too! Meanwhile the Chinese economy depends on production and being the "world's factory" and they need to import a lot of resources. It is not costly for them to grow... I think whats makes US Navy looks half hearted,
It was clearly proven that the most useless branch of US military is actually its Navy. They are mostly with 20th century technology and tactics while Iran is fighting with 21st century technology and tactics. This is why on the first day 177 days ago the Iranian retaliations rendered the entire US 5th fleet useless, sinking a couple and incapacitating multiple aircraft carriers, destroyers, submarines, etc. All in a matter of hours. This is also why the US regime pulled its fleet deep into the Indian ocean and hundreds of kilometers away from the closest point on Iran's soil which rendered it useless in an entirely different way (distance is too far). BTW this far distance and the fact that they are in the "ocean" shows how dumb the thing they call "blockade" is ... you can't blockade an ocean... The situation on US military vessels is so degraded that their marines are committing suicide by jumping into the ocean. They pulled a couple back out completely out of the region because of this.

The US can't do anything to China, they are too independent to fear threat from the US. I remembered the last time Donald Trump slash China with 10% tariff fine in exported goods to US and one if his cabals called Chinese people as peasants, the comment was too childish knowing that farming is what makes the China to be bigger than where they are and the same US is depending on their produce which they refine to finish products and inflate the price for other people. There is something I learned from China during that period, despite the name calling, they lowered their pride, they were pained though which many people retaliate through platforms but they kept their cools because they understand what is there to gain with friendship than been enemies to other countries. This is what US doesn't understand, Trump thinks everything is all about power and leadership when you could dialogue and that's why even Iran does not want to step down for them.

The only thing the US can do is curb the rapid growth of China's economy. They are already too late to stop the rise of this Asian power. China isn't just a major power anymore. They are becoming increasingly difficult to replace as a central hub of global supply chain, manufacturing, and international trade. To be fair, I dont think the usd is going to collapse, but its dominance may be coming to an end. The monopoly of the petrodollar empire will soon be shattered.

Curb China's rapid growth?! How on earth is the US government gon achieve that?! I mean, when all China does is do nothing and still win? The reasons for all these unnecessary propaganda sponsored by the economist on twitter and everywhere against China is simply because the US government can not even compete with China currently. Let's not even talk about China when thry can not improve the lives of the average American citizens. We have seen Donald Trump's statement of not being able to fund health care, because they're fighting a foreign war and when the same average and patriotic maga citizens who voted Donald Trump in complain about no more funding isreal and foreign wars, they go on to attacked and receive death threats by Homeland security. I don't know what thinks about themselves, but they're everything they think themselves to be. The World is just looking for an alternative since the US government has decided to make their currency a weapon. Everybody should be able to trade with their own currency.

"Even Gaddafi's plans to unite Africa with a single African currency for trade, backed by gold, were also torn apart by the West". - Wow!!! So tell me- who supported this fantasy? How? What agreements were signed? What actions were taken? Let me warn you in advance -Gaddafi was in power, totalitarian power, from September 1969 to August 2011, or... 42 years!!!! What was actually done to advance this "idea" during that time? Let’s just stick to the facts - no fantasies or philosophy, okay? P.S. If you can answer this, we can also discuss another "world leader" who wanted "the proletariat to be happy" and, under the guise of this wonderful idea, slaughtered nearly half the world! Here’s a hint : Lenin + communism Africa doesn't care how long an individual or set of individuals rule their country. What we want is good governance. We don't want leaders who are puppets to the West or other powers. A government that prioritizes the interests of its citizens is what we want. You called Gaddafi an authoritarian, but he was one of the best leaders Africa has ever produced. He has his lapses, but he ensured that Libyans had a good life. Let me ask since the Western saviours let by the US invaded that country has thing become better? Have they gotten the freedom and good life they were promised by the West? That country has become a breeding ground for terrorists, causing havoc to African countries. I would prefer to live under Gaddafi than to stay in the haven promised by the West. ... Well, I’d argue with that I judge effectiveness not by how long someone’s been in office or how tired they are, but by… RESULTS. And if a president has been in power for 40 years with zero results - that’s not effective leadership! And as it turned out in reality, there was a huge gap between his "ideas" and reality. As for the West’s puppets. Okay, so in many African countries, Western puppets have been replaced by their own, or non-Western , puppets. So what? We can do this very simply: let’s make two lists of African countries, one with puppets and one without Western puppets, and compare their successes. Let’s conduct such an analysis. The only condition is that if we classify someone as a "Western puppet", we must provide justification based on the definition of "puppet". Are you ready for such an analysis?

- it would be foolish to deny it Yes, I couldn't agree more, IRIN and IRGCN no match for the US Navy, matter of fact on first strike The US has dealt a massive blow, although we do not say that the US navy can guarantee the security of the entire Hormuz but it doesn't mean that when Iran navy weakness ensure global shipping returns to normal. The point is that this is a war in which the warring parties have completely different goals, methods, and ideas! You’re right in noting that the IRGC understands that the U.S. isn’t prepared to conduct a large-scale ground operation. The reason is simple: the vast territory, rugged terrain, and other factors would make it impossible to wage a "quick and victorious war". And here, a "good" example for the U.S. is Russia, which unleashed a terrorist war against a small (compared to the terrorist state of Russia) Ukraine, a country with a large territory, that has been waging a "special military operation" for 12 years, with four years of claims that "we’ll take Kyiv in three days", resulting in more than 1.5 million Russian casualties, a deteriorating economy, and a resounding fiasco. The IRGC could pose enormous problems for U.S. ground forces for many years to come... Israel proposed and implemented a high-quality solution by eliminating all the more or less significant leaders of the regime and the IRGC. This is not very costly but very effective. The IRGC came up with a plan to "take revenge on the U.S. and the whole world" by blocking the Strait of Hormuz. The truth is, the IRGC didn’t consider that the U.S. would do the same. But the U.S. won’t suffer from the halt in oil traffic - it will only benefit from the rise in oil prices In short, we’ll be watching this commotion for a long time to come....

Will US use military action to crippling and slowing down China ?
This may just be the final path to take but if it happens (hopefully not) then the chances of all of us being affected are much greater and I feel the US will lose if we force this. The reason is quite clear because looking at the situation now when the US against Iran they have lost many things including their resources and strength, when they try to do the same with China which in fact if you look at the military power is in the top 3 then the US situation will be more difficult and they will lose. In addition China is still with full combat power yet with its allies which will certainly help, it does not mean the US does not have allies but if China and the US make direct arms contact I am quite sure Russia will be in China's camp in this regard.
Returning to the issue of closing the Strait of Hormuz for now means there have been 2 opened and 3 Closed times since the war began. Because seeing from the first opening in February, the Strait of Hormuz re-opened 1 day on April 7 then closed again on April 8 only the closure only occurred for 10 days after some negotiations took place but since June the Chaos made the Strait completely closed until now.
