What makes you think that none of this could have been avoided under a different president? Trump is a total loose cannon who acts as if he’s untouchable. He revels in his power so much that he can no longer imagine himself without it. He’s interested in money; that’s why he sought power in the first place. That is simply the kind of person he is.

You shouldn't attribute those same qualities to others. There is no way of knowing what would have happened if someone else had taken office. Can the United States be considered a terrorist state today? To a certain extent, one could argue that. Recent actions point directly to this conclusion.

Like I said, they have been doing this for decades, it is nothing new.

Under Bush, they invaded Afghanistan and Iraq.
Under Obama, they got involved in Libya and stepped up attacks in Pakistan and Yemen, and Somalia.
Under Biden, they pulled troops out of Afghanistan but backed Israel's action in Gaza and launched airstrikes on the Houthis.

There hasn't been a single US presidential term in 47 terms that wasn't tied to war in some way. Pretty much every major war had some level of US involvement, either directly or indirectly.

Trump is just doing what other US presidents have done, and it looks like that's pretty much what anyone sitting in that chair ends up doing.

The US will not back down as long as Trump remains in power. He has discovered—quite unexpectedly for himself—an opportunity to make money. His political inner circle is also delighted by this; they possess insider information and trade securities based on it. This is no longer a secret to anyone. The "ginger parrot" himself speaks openly about it, failing to realize that it will eventually backfire on him. He is so foolish that he does not grasp the weight of his own words—words that will later prove useful to investigators and prosecutors.

How many times do we have to say this? Huh This war is not just about Trump or some personal agenda of his. This would've happened whoever became president this term. That is what US political establishment and actual terrorists really want.

US has been doing this for decades. Its nothing new. If they feel you are threatening their hegemony, they will set you up or cook up some dumb excuse to go after you.

Its hard to see how this war could actually end tbh. Cry Cry

Can you provide any arguments that the IRGC’s terrorist regime threatened U.S. hegemony? If you call widespread international terrorism a "threat to U.S. hegemony", then you’re clearly mistaken! Religious fanatics and the IRGC’s attack dogs have terrorized not only the entire region but also many parts of the world!

That’s a funny picture. Tell me - do you really have no other problems or targets for your hatred in real life besides Israel and people with non-traditional sexual orientations? If it’s not a secret, tell me how they personally harmed you or forced you to do anything? Smiley

P.S. I’ve always believed that humanity’s problems are terrorism, violence, totalitarianism, disease, oppression, poverty, inequality, lack of freedom, and illiteracy...

Today I read a news report that four oil tankers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours. Global trade is being disrupted; this situation will undoubtedly come back to haunt us in the form of inflation and poverty, and moreover, it will lead to nothing but a crisis in the financial markets. The return of traditional stock markets and cryptocurrencies to a bull market will be delayed because of what we are experiencing.

Undoubtedly, the main culprit is the United States, which disregards the territorial integrity of other countries and creates chaos and turmoil by meddling in their internal affairs.

If the United States had not pursued these aggressive and expansionist policies, the world would not be in the midst of this crisis today.

All the problems we are facing today are being created by people who have come here from across the ocean with predatory intentions.

I wouldn’t blame the U.S. alone. The problem runs somewhat deeper. In 2014, the whole world witnessed a similar incident when the terrorist russian army attacked Ukraine and began annexing foreign territories - territories that both the terrorist state of russia and international organizations should have respected and responded to immediately. That did not happen. What complaints are there against the U.S.? Especially since they aren’t seizing other countries’ lands, but are simply conducting a special military operation against a terrorist regime?
Incidentally, that same year, 2014, gave rise to a problem with the supply of a very important resource, grain, to the global market, following the deliberate destruction of grain elevators, fields, and equipment by russian terrorists on Ukrainian territory, as well as the theft of grain from the elevators they managed to seizeand all this was met with nothing more than "concern"...

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine prompted the U.S. to adapt to the global situation, but since our topic is cherry trees, I naturally couldn’t talk about pomegranate trees...

In this regard, they differ somewhat from Russia because, rather than establishing territorial control, it’s a more economical approach for them to handle matters through a puppet local leader. Furthermore, when it comes to the question of who is a terrorist, you can see that no terrorist organization in the world has killed 500,000 children. Who, really, is the biggest terrorist? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_6QVWVExXrc

Russia is a major regional power. Because Ukraine lies on its land border, it can act more ruthlessly and faces less backlash from the U.S., but I want you to know that in the hearts of conscientious people, they are always considered guilty. The U.S., on the other hand, is coming from across the ocean into my region and slaughtering my neighbors, with whom I’ve lived side by side for thousands of years. It’s easier for me to react to this. It doesn’t evoke the same sense of helplessness in me as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine does. I condemn both, but one, in my view, carries a greater sense of helplessness than the other...

Everything you said about the Pedophile POTUS is correct but even if the US regime had installed someone else in the "White House of Oppression" they would still have started this War of Choice. You see, these have been plans in the making for decades. The only difference in case of the Pedophile POTUS is that Zionists have a much better grip on him and are capable of pulling his leash a lot easier compared to others because of 2 things: (1) the Epstein files which contains evidence of his abhorrent crimes in those islands (2) he has a personal Zionist handler assigned to him years ago who now controls all of his actions (the terrorist named Jared Corey Kushner).

I wrote a little bit of history here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5516661.0
You see, the US regime's aggression toward Iran is nothing new and is not changing based on which sock-puppet is installed in the "White House of Oppression".
I'd say the first major operation was the 1953 coup where they first overthrew democracy in Iran and re-established (or rather re-strengthened) dictatorship. Back then the regime had a tight grip on Iran. They had thousands of troops in the country and had full control of the resources, the government and everything else.

This situation changed with the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979 to overthrow the US-backed dictatorship and establish democracy. Keep in mind that after the revolution the Iranians didn't just overthrow the dictatorship, they also kicked out the US regime and its forces. Specially when the Den of Espionage (ie. the US embassy in Tehran which was the CIA terrorist headquarters) was shut down by Iranian people.
Therefore for the past 47 years the US regime has been trying to come back and take back that control of Iran that they had lost whether directly or indirectly (by installing a sock-puppet); but they've been failing to that as well.

And just to name a few of the major attempts of the US regime off the top of my head:
  • Dozens of coup attempts and terrorist attacks in the first couple of years after 1979 revolution.
  • Starting a proxy war with Iran using the Baa'thi regime (dictator of Iraq called Saddam who was the regime's strategic ally at the time and was receiviging WMDs from NATO!)
  • WW4 where the war criminal Bush orders invasion of Iran and the plan was to first invade all the neighbors or take control of their land and airspace (ie. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Azarbaijan, Turkey, Iraq, Syria; and even Lebanon and Palestine as well as everything on the southern shores of the Persian Gulf to form what was known as Arabic NATO) then launch attacks at Iran
  • After failing to do that they started establishing dozens of major and small terrorist groups from ISIS and al-Qaeda all the way to tiny ones most of which are destroyed already and forgotten
  • Economic terrorism which is the regime's bread and butter!
  • And of course their last attempts were the 1953-style coup attempts on January 8 and 9, 2026 that failed miserably despite the brutality of the regime's terrorist proxies who murdered over 3000 civilians.
  • And the last military strikes on February 28, shortly after their failed coup attempt. A War of Choice that also failed miserably since Iran dominated the US military and destroyed most of the regime's military and military infrastructure (that is the Central Command). Some of these infrastructures were established over the past 30 years by spending tens of trillions of dollars of American taxpayers money, since as I said it was a LONG plan of the regime to carry out these terrorist attacks on Iran.

People are slowly realising this.
Voting for either side is going to minimally impact your life.
Better to focus on things that could impact your life an order of magnitude in a bigger way.

Well said, Fillippone. It’s much better to focus on things that really do change your life, like Bitcoin and its entire ecosystem, made up of wonderful projects and people who know what they’re doing. Whatever happens, the Americans will sort everything out in the end by threatening to use force; whether it’s Trump or the socialists in government, that’s just how the United States is, they defend their positions to the bitter end.

None of these politicians and leaders are going to save our lives. They can go with their point of views and beliefs and that's the route that the country and the government can go. We have no control to their decisions and so, I agree to focus on our own lives and the growth that we can have while all of these things are happening. We can watch and be updated to it while focusing on those important things that can make our lives better.

Stacking sats, being the first thing that comes to my mind.
And this is the right timing for it, bear market is still on.

In fact, both issues are very closely related - they share a single root: terrorism!
Russia has shown other countries, and terrorists, that today (since 2014) you can do whatever you want with impunity, especially if you have nuclear weapons. Do you think the Iranian junta and religious fanatics just dreamed of acquiring it for no reason? No, not to protect themselves "from aliens", but specifically for terrorism, violence, and to instill fear in the region - and likely beyond.

I live in Kyiv, and for the past three weeks I’ve simply been watching as Russian terrorists, having completely failed on the front lines, have unleashed terror on the civilian population of Kyiv! Every single day, strikes are being carried out against schools, hospitals, bridges, power grids, and water supply systems, as well as residential buildings, kindergartens, maternity hospitals, colleges, and universities... If we don’t stop the Russians, they’ll go even further, they’re just as much a cancer on the world as Nazism was.

But let’s get back to the Strait of Hormuz: the Iranian delegation, which had come to beg for the lifting of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, was shamefully expelled from the negotiations by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This happened during the UN General Assembly in New York. Well, what’s the point of talking to terrorists and idiots? Smiley

P.S. About an hour ago, roughly 1 km from my window, yet another jet-powered drone belonging to the terrorist state, russia, was destroyed. By the way, in the database, it’s listed as an IRANIAN Shahed drone. Are these really "different trees"? Smiley

Yes, the origins of these issues are interconnected, and I don’t deny that, but while the topic is the Strait of Hormuz, we could also mention Epstein Island and say it’s related to the issue, but to be honest, that would take us a bit off topic...

And, first of all, I didn’t call them idiots, but since there’s no other organization that has killed 500,000 children, I said we could award them the “first-place medal.” Anyone might be forced to negotiate with terrorists to resolve issues and minimize the problems. Moreover, in an environment where everyone accuses each other of being terrorists, this is quite normal...

If we return to the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, we can say that global inflation, which had been slowing down due to recent events in the strait, has flared up again. Both traditional stock markets and high-risk cryptocurrency exchanges have suffered losses due to inflation. It could take months for the markets to recover. Stock markets could remain in a bear market for months. All of this is happening because of an organization that comes from across the ocean to meddle in other countries’ internal affairs and even kills innocent civilians. I will not mention this organization’s name because, as far as I understand, simply uttering its name causes tension, and I sense that you feel compelled to construct your argument using examples from other regions instead of mine. I do not wish to put you in such a position... Smiley

By the way, I pray to God for the best for your country...

Maybe a million times, a billion times or even more! Truthfully, all the past three President of the US one way or the other found a way  to avoid this war but Donald Trump, not just being stupid enough but being blackmailed by the isreali regime as a result of the Epstein island relationships, found a way to start an unnecessary war he has lost over and over. It is officially the 7th month and both the US regime and isreali can not boast of shit when thry saw strength and resistance from the Iranians.

The US government needs war to stay functional, reasons why every year there's a new enemy they want the world to hate. If it is not Muslims, it's the Cuba, Russia, China, Latin America or some third world country who has refused to trade their sovereignty for anything else.

There's a call for respect of international law and diplomacy but all of that are not being met and honoured by the US whenever Iranians keep to their own words. The seven points memorandum agreed upon and signed by Donald Trump has not been respected. We all know who has also exported more terrorism all over the  world. Is is Russia? Is it China? Is it Venezuela? Is it Iran? I guess we all know then.

I really enjoy reading your responses, they deserve respect, even though I understand that we have different perspectives on the situation! Not all forum participants - who hold different, and often opposing, views - are able to engage in dialogue this way: in a measured and reasoned manner, without cheap propaganda or manipulation!

Where we definitely agree, it seems to me, is that invading other countries or carrying out terrorist attacks there is unacceptable!

But unfortunately, the world works differently, which means we have to adapt to these conditions. And as history has shown, attempts to appease an aggressor always lead only to a worsening of the situation. I always give one simple example: a cancerous tumor won’t go away if you don’t treat it but instead try to cure it with spells or smear it with petroleum jelly, fighting this terrible disease requires very tough measures.

But let’s get back to the Strait of Hormuz incident and the situation surrounding it!

Here are the latest statistics:
Traffic Recovery and Oil
September Growth: Exports from the Persian Gulf in September approached pre-war levels.
Shuttle Scheme: Tankers are transshipping crude outside the strait for safety.
High prices: The price of Brent remains above $100 due to new military risks.
Additional costs: Military escorts and complex logistics are making transportation much more expensive
Conclusion: Oil traffic is increasing, but oil prices remain high due to the high costs of maintaining traffic.
At the same time, the IRGC junta is the only one that won’t benefit from this, since oil traffic from Iran has not been restored and most likely won’t be restored anytime soon. "Shooting oneself in the foot" - that’s the IRGC and its idea of blocking the Strait of Hormuz....

P.S. And thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support - it’s very important for Ukraine!

We seem to have strayed from the topic - let’s get back on track!

Here are the developments from the past couple of weeks:
1. Terrorist attacks by IRGC terrorists continue: According to the British maritime security agency UKMTO, October set a record for the number of incidents. Since the beginning of the month, at least 23 attacks on commercial vessels have been recorded, including drone strikes, missile attacks, and the use of sea mines

No, they did not "sink the U.S. fleet" as they hysterically and falsely promised, nor did they "defeat the U.S. and Israel",  instead, as is typical for terrorists, they are attacking civilian vessels. Did anyone really doubt that it would be any different?!

Earlier this week, on October 13–14, two large cargo ships sank in the strait. One of them was the Singapore-flagged container ship GFS Pride, carrying 2,500 containers. A curious situation is unfolding along the Iranian coast: hundreds of local fishermen have taken to the sea to "fish out" thousands of new iPhones and expensive perfume that floated to the surface after the shipwreck.
This is typical behavior for barbaric terrorists. Russian terrorists behaved in the same way when they shot down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 (July 17, 2014) with civilians on board and looted what remained of their belongings after the plane crashed. To be sure, Russian terrorists are utterly despicable - they even took photos against the backdrop of smoldering wreckage and mutilated bodies....

2. The deceitful terrorist leadership of the IRGC has, once again, officially announced that the Strait of Hormuz is closed to all vessels violating Iranian regulations Smiley Well, what else can they do?! Smiley

3. In reality, the Iranian junta is trying to find a way out, and while heroic tales of total control over the Strait of Hormuz are being spun for the public, Iranian representatives are once again trying to beg the U.S. for a truce:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced at the summit in Baghdad that Tehran had conveyed to Washington, via Qatar, a 7-day plan to resume safe navigation.

After the Republicans' defeat in the midterm elections, Trump unexpectedly claimed that the problems with fuel prices... guess what caused them? No, not because of the oil refineries in terrorist Russia being destroyed by Ukrainian Armed Forces defenders, but because of... Iran! What a surprise! Smiley
I wonder-will he now make an effort to solve this problem? To find a permanent solution to the problem....

It's still risky for others not included in the war to pass through the straits considering the mines planted in the narrow parts of the strait. I don't know what the plan is but I don't this America will be happy with this and this could prolong the war which means we don't see it ending soon. It's unfortunate that when things like this happen there is no bigger governing body to set things right.

To be clear it is only risky for smugglers not for anybody else. And the mines are smart mines meaning they target the smugglers and enemy vessels but not others. The rest of the vessels that ask permission from Iran to pass the Iranian strait called Hormuz have been entering and exiting the Persian Gulf without any issues.

The fuel smugglers that break the law and turn their Automatic Identification System (AIS) which will endanger international marine traffic (specially endangering the small fishing boats) and try to evade detection are the ones that are being dealt with decisively.

Navigating the Strait of Hormuz especially for oil tankers is extremely hazardous amidst an ongoing war. There are no security guarantees for vessels passing through and being in a war zone poses a grave danger. Current reports from various media outlets paint an increasingly tense picture many suggest that the conflict will drag on and escalate, with some even raising the possibility that the United States and Iran could resort to nuclear weapons. This creates significant uncertainty for investors, and many nations will suffer as a result facing energy and oil shortages caused by the conflict in the Middle East and the potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Up until now, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz is still heating up and the US and Iranian militaries have entered a dangerous phase again. Because two days ago I read news that the US military reportedly launched a limited attack on Iranian military targets on Qeshm Island, which is a strategic area near the Strait of Hormuz.

The Strait of Hormuz will still be difficult to pass if the war continues. Especially since Iran has laid mines although right now these mines will only explode if a ship passes through the strait without permission, they still pose a danger if navigated. You could say the Strait of Hormuz is the most strategic route for global energy trade. So when tensions are still high the impact can spread across various sectors, from oil prices, insurance costs, energy supply stability to every country and so on.

Basically, the Strait of Hormuz is still tense right now because the two countries are still talking about possible diplomacy, but on the ground military activity hasn’t fully stopped yet.
