A long time ago, I learned not to play when I’m not in the right frame of mind. You need to feel good, well-rested, have a clear head, and be in the mood to play. You're very correct. gambling becomes dangerous when it's use  for financial solution.Gambling whenever you're under pressure can often lead to losses and poor decision making, most people chase losses and neglect setting limit and budget, which may likely end up resulting to bigger risk. So the best way is to see gambling as entertainment not a way to recover money or to get more money, set a budget for it and stand on your decision for the sake of your mental health.

All the points you raised are spot-on and nothing is off the mark however, we must first assess the situation to ensure we don’t gamble at the wrong time. Personally, I have a habit of gambling when I have free time to relax, and I do so alone in my room.
Actually there are many situations where we shouldn’t gamble and I think we can figure that out for ourselves. What’s clear is that when someone gambles at the wrong time they’re almost certainly unable to control themselves, and that can lead to addiction.

If I am playing a single game or bet in football, I can play it at anywhere if I know the teams that are playing. Example. If Liverpool is playing with Arsenal and I want play only that Match. I really agree with this your points, but aside from setting rules like “don’t do this,  don’t do that” type of thinking,  I believe the most important concept when it comes to gambling is understanding your own limits and how your mindset is before you even start gambling. In fact,  people can still make poor choices in gambling even when their essential bills are paid, because they do not have control over their emotions or expectations. To me,  self awareness and control are equally important as responsibility.

It’s also important to know that gambling is not and should not be a means of solving a person’s financial problems. Once a person attach v“want” or “need” to gamble,  it quickly becomes an issue. The moment gambling stops feeling like an entertainment to you, then It can be considered a warning sign to take a break from gambling.

People also tend to underestimate how small habits build up overtime,  and bad actions is not always about taking loans to gamble,  sometimes it is the consistent daily betting that will slowly drain you without you even knowing it.  This is the main reason why people should establish their own limits on gambling both in terms of how much time they spend and how much money they are willing to risk.

There was a time when I was very involved in poker and loved playing in the workplace, when I still had a full-time job. And anyway, there were hours of idleness when there was no work and you could relax by playing something on your smartphone. Well, obviously I played poker or slots sometimes. And the trouble was, when the boss came to me and told me that I needed to start a new job right away. It was unexpected, and at those moments I literally had to close the poker table, which caused me to lose money. Generally a sensible individual ought to gamble responsibly and not take gambling as something casual else failure is certain but, not really the major reason because with or without focus gambling is still unpredictable and winning is not certain including hours of analysis still doesn’t matter.

Ye, and my philosophy is simple - Don't gamble at times when you have regretted doing so in the past. The money lost is one thing but losing your time and avoiding something for gambling is a bigger issue IMHO.

Gambling is like watching a Netflix drama; good when you have time for it but a problem when you skip meetings or important schedules because of it. I know some friends who skipped important things to watch Netflix movies and obviously, it ended badly.

This are crazy situations and time that one can even think of gambling at the first point,  laterly many people has allowed gamble to change their normal way of thinking into something else because I can't imagine how a normal person will be gambling at the present of his kids, what really are you teaching them as they are growing up ?
