I don't think they Neymar Jr addition can bring up some good progress to the team. I know he one of the greatest player but right now due to poor physical strength he wouldn't be able to stay longer without injury. Carlos Angelotti only pick him due to fans chao like there is no logic behind his selection. Their are so many which are also having a better scale of performance without injury concerned but Angelotti pick him. So it's mean that his selection was just on base of fans....

Neymar gets immense popularity by his performance in the past. In my perspective, he has nothing to prove to the team or the world. He has all the qualities that a forward needs. His performance is very organized and enough to calm the audience. The main problem is injuries. No one else would have expected him to play in the way he did when he was injured at the beginning of his career. Neymar is definitely an indomitable and world-class player. Now, sometimes when I watch him play, it doesn't seem like he has any injury problems. So we can rely on him. When he plays, he will definitely play at his best.

Funny thing about this whole Neymar saga is, I don't even have a single doubt in Neymars ability to perform in the world cup, we all know that players performances tends to opt up for this type of tournament and with Neymars level of experience its goibg to be easier for him. We all know that Neymar is one of the best players Brazil has, but I am not entirely sure of Ancelotti's reasons for calling him up to the World Cup squad at a time when he was truly struggling with injuries and declining form. Neymar recorded only 8 appearances for Santos, with 4 goals and 3 assists, so it is only normal that some people have both criticized and questioned Ancelotti's decision to select him for the squad.

Personally, I am happy to see Neymar in the Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup, it is highly likely that this will be his final World Cup appearance. Funny thing about this whole Neymar saga is, I don't even have a single doubt in Neymars ability to perform in the world cup, we all know that players performances tends to opt up for this type of tournament and with Neymars level of experience its goibg to be easier for him. The recent history of his injuries and issues with his physique were the reason why people were speculating that he is not going to play in the world cup, and they weren't wrong, he has been injured a lot in the recent times, but he has recovered and worked really hard, and on top of that, the whole country was backing him up and it wouldn't be a good thing for the management to avoid that because it would disappoint his fans and supporters all around the world but especially within Brazil itself, so they basically had no choice, but he has also worked really hard on himself.

If anyone watched the video on his YouTube channel at the time of the announcement, you could notice that the first person he walked up to and hugged was his fitness trainer or physio, which proves that he has worked really hard on Neymar for his recovery and everything, and he appreciated it by doing that. He didn't even hug his parents or wife before. So, that shows his dedication, and it really meant a lot for him because he knows it's going to be his last world cup, which was the reason why they all got so emotional after he was called up.

Neymar is one of the best Brazilian footballers in history and his influence on the team has been important all this time. Ancelotti would certainly not call an unprepared player to such an important competition, like the World Cup, just because of past glory.

Both of them seem to look fit that they could play for an hour. However, it is up to the coach to know how long they can play and at which time of the game.  My take is that neither of the shouldnt expect to play full in all the games because there are younger players that is stronger and faster. I also expect Messi and Ronaldo to assit the technical team and also inspire younger players. With their wealth of experince their tactically expertise will be more desirable than their on the pitch display.

I am not too comfortable with Neymar's inclusion in the provision list because of his behaviour. He could cause dissaffection in the squad because of his selfcentered and proud disposition.

Neymar was included because of the Brazil fans and I know the coach will not play him  in his first Eleven, he I'll  just be in the squad to help young players in the training nothing more, he's injured again in his club training, I think if he's not fit the coach might drop Neymar, it's risky to carry injury player to world because of fans. He's rarely playing in the top football competition, but it seems the crisis in the winger position becomes the reason why Ancellotti called him to play in WC. I think we were all happy to hear that Ney had been called up. I say this is the last dance for many of them. I'd like to see them at their best. Ney is an icon of Brazil. Anceloti didn't wanted neymar on the team but he had no choice than to include due to the overwhelming pressure from brazil fans, left for anceloti neymar name wouldn't be included in that list as they are quality players who can fit in for that space.
