How does this make sense? You say that he is good at his prediction, yet you almost always lose and just have few wins? That means that he is terrible at predictions.

On that faithful day , I tried to fund my wallet, but network was terrible, so I had to use the little money in my wallet  to play it , the next morning he called to ask if I played , I said yes but not with reasonable amount because my network was down , so he said it has boom and he didn’t use big amount on that game because he wasn’t sure of his winning ,I was so shocked because winning days are just few ,
Most people have the funds but they like playing with little cash ,, I know it’s okay to bet with what you can afford to lose , but sometimes is better to level up your staking power so that if it is a win, let it be what can help you achieve one or two things , instead winning small always, when the winning comes.

What are you even trying to say with your word salad? You couldn't bet more because your "network" was down and then it ended up being a win? If you were so sure about the prediction, you would have gone somewhere else to connect to the internet and make the bets. This indicates that you were rather unsure about this bet, and took this excuse not to place more money on it. Later once it turned out that the bet actually was a win, you let yourself be manipulated by hindsight bias and then turned this into a sorry sob story. That is what happened here, and nothing else -- your delusions are not part of reality. If one is 100% sure that something is a winning bid, you would climb a mountain barefoot in order to place the money in the last moment. The reason why you didn't is because you weren't sure.

Everyone can make such claim, I thought I would win the bet but didn't have the money so bet small and end up winning it, What if you lost that, do you have any explanation and the story of friend doesn't make any sense, if he was good one at predicting the game then why he didn't take the bet with more money? Because it would have occurred to you that betting is based on luck , no matter how good a person is , even people that are very good a prediction still lost , even clubs that has good player still lost , so I’m wondering what your perception about gambling is.

If I had my way I would have done it by going elsewhere to find a solution to my problem, but can’t risk my life it was a midnight games , if I’m delusional, I’m happy I’m not the only delusional human here , it was an experience which many also had ,  mind you nobody can be 100% sure of any bet even if you are the player , I think you should even face your reality more , because your mindset is far from it , I have tested wins and also tested loses, that is not my first winning , betting come with uncertainty, no one has ever been so sure of their winning but yet they gambling with hope, that means everybody would won a jackpot with their instincts, but it always  fails them when it has to do with betting .

You are talking this way because you guys won, your money was saved and you still win extra, a win is a win isn't it? You people only thinks about the positive side of gambling.

If you had the chance to risk higher amount you would have won a lot, but what would have happened if you lose the bet? It's better to risk small money and win or lose than to risk high amount of money and lose.

You said it yourself that most of his predictions don't always work out, that's why he also risked small money, this is the best way to gamble but instead you guys aren't satisfied.

Whenever you make loss, don't over think it. What you need to do is work on improving yourself than trying to make yourself look like you are not trying enough or it's as a result of something why it's not working properly. Some things happen so you can improve yourself. There are some games that when you bet and loss, it's not your fault that it ended up that way. It's because they are beyond your control.

When you make a loss, we need to forget is as soon as possible. The longer that loss stays in our mind, we will get emotionally sad and stressed, and due to this, we can take a wrong decision to gamble in order to recover the loss. Sometimes, if you go for revenge gambling, you tend to put more money in that bet as you believe that this time you will win and recover the losses, but usually that doesn't happen, and we end up losing even more money.

I always use a small amount of money for gambling because I can afford to lose. Winning at gambling requires research, but luck plays a big role, luck is not always on our side, so we cannot make money by gambling. There is always a greater chance of losing money than making money through gambling, I only gamble for fun, gambling with the mindset of making money is not right at all, as it can double the amount of loss. Bet with a small amount of money, this will allow you to control your emotions or greed, so the main purpose of gambling will be right, you will be able to protect yourself from the risk of losing extra money and from the terrible of gambling. We don't know if the friend isn't accurate on his predictions or if it's about OP and his friend not having self-confidence enough to trust their own guesses. I can think about both possibilities, as to just be a good guesser isn't enough, you also have to trust yourself, otherwise, the placed bets will be always quite cheap for fear of losing money. After all, there will be that feeling of frustration where it feels like they are always missing a profit opportunity for being too miserable on their bets.

Yes I see a lot of ads that give a lot of bonuses for Deposits especially on new users, this will make them interested in getting into gambling and making a deposit to get the first bonus.

And it is their fault that they do not read the ToS that has been written, that what are the terms and conditions that need to be done to get the bonus and what is the mechanism.
Many beginners are stuck in such promotions so that in the end it does not match the reality that happens.

Sometimes the momentum that you might have taken to stake big due to the fact that you were certain that the game would play and then later on the game now went sideways can actually kill off any zeal to do such in the future and I guess it's still part of the losing that we are talking that discourages gamblers to stake because more high stake results to bigger losses likewise bigger wins but the ratio of losing to winning in gambling is something you don't want to take chances on.

How were you guys mostly losing and only had a few wins if he was good at making predictions? That doesn't make any sense to me. When someone is good at making predictions, they should be winning most of their bets or at least whatever they say should become correct at the end, but if you guys were making bets based on his predictions, and losing most of the time, then it basically means he isn't good at making predictions, which was why you guys were not winning. Any person can get at least two correct predictions out of 10, and that can even be done by making wild guesses.

So based on what you have said in your post, the game you guys won was just a random win and there was nothing special about that, and when you are following the predictions of someone who you know loses most of his bets and doesn't even have confidence on his own predictions, you don't increase your stakes because that will be like taking blind risks, and you never do that. One should always make bets while staying in their limits, so that if they lose, they don't lose their mind after it.

I always use a small amount of money for gambling because I can afford to lose.

Normally as a gambler you are suppose to gamble with any amount you know you can afford to lose, you don’t have to gamble which at the end you going to regret, gambling is suppose to be for fun, and even if you are the type that gamble for the sake of money, then you have to manage your risk properly, don’t be so desperate to make money from gambling.

It's all about mindset and betting choices for me.
 
If it is not a problem to bet big and be ready for a big defeat at a time then it will not be a problem as well as some other gamblers who do bet small for the reason that they minimize losses (when losing) because they do not want to feel a big defeat at a time it also cannot be blamed because this is only a difference in readiness and financial control strategies when we gamble.

I still do this where I never bet more than $10 in sportsbetting and sometimes even much smaller because I consider $10 to be my biggest maximum limit for betting (except for freebets).Even if I lose that big bet I'm ready but sometimes this
I always try to remind myself not to bet too big because I'm definitely not prepared to lose so betting small and a maximum of only $10 is the limit.
It doesn't mean I don't expect big wins but at the end of the day we also have to have a condition where we have to be prepared for the worst possibility (in this case it is a loss that we can feel).

What's the reason for being heartbroken when you won a bet?  Why not accept the fact that we are not confident with the bet so we bet a small amount of money?  Being greedy won't give us peace of mind, and no matter how huge our bet is, if we succumb to greed, it will never be enough.

Besides, we must accept the consequences of our actions.  We win a little because we bet a little.  We bet a little because we are not confident of winning.  So why heartbroken when we have won a bet that we are not confident in, shouldn't we be happy with the result instead?

I think its normal. People who are gambling is fine to used smaller funds cause it is betting and gambling nothing sure of the outocme later on. Since his good at prediction, it wouldnt hurt also to bet on his own skills I guess and even you if you truly trust him then try a bit sometimes.

No matter how good a prediction is, it will not be possible for anyone to say that he will win in any of his predictions. Prediction is just a basic research and creating a decision based on the experience he has with the game. It only gives us pleasure and builds confidence in our bets. However, we can fool the game algorithm ourselves. So, you should always bet at a normal pace and a normal amount so that even if you lose, you will not suffer a big loss and you can continue betting. When you increase your bet amount and lose a few times, you will have to start with a lot and bet a larger amount to recover quickly due to big losses and if you keep doing the same, your budget will quickly run out.

Regardless of what people think, sports betting and card games depend on skill, and anyone can test that for themselves in the long run. It is a very bad idea to level up your stake anyhow. I bet majorly on parley with fixed amount always. This amount could only change if there is an increase in my gambling budget for that period or month. This has been helping me to keep a good winnings records. Imagine I bet $10 on 15 odds and I'm able to win once out of 10 times played, with this I'm still on the winning side. A fixed gambling amount helps to take good record of your gambling.

Myself i do bet what i can lose and it will not trouble my peace of mind, because I know that gambling is not something I can trust, and gambling with big money is greediness because you dont know if you win or not, that's why I prefer gambling with small amounts of money so that if I lose, I will not feel much concerned about it, in gambling we need to know that gambling is all about of understanding and we dont need to use all our money and stake bet out of greediness
