What nonsense is this? So when you win, you're upset that you didn't bet big, but when you lose, I'm betting you're upset that you bet too big (or that you bet at all), right? Are you 5 years old or do you and your friend have the intelligence of a 5 year old between you? I don't even know what advice to give you, although no, here's some advice for you at the exact level at which you see the problem: make only those bets that will win, don't make the ones that won't win, then you won't be upset.

Here is my thoughts, it's better to play safe than to get too much of assurance about a particular prediction. The truth is, you never know when you're going to win even those who claim they know they're going to win was lying because all they had was just normal positive mindset shit, and if the bet was to go against them they'll find something to put the blame on. So betting with same value or small amount as you always do isn't a bad decision infact it is called risk management because we don't want to get carried away by the hopes of wining big and end up getting addicted.

When you start getting used to increasing your bet amounts, even if initially adding a little, there is a possibility that the amount will continue to increase according to your betting habits. You don't need to be greedy to win bigger. If your budget capacity is small, then enjoy those small wins. Do not force yourself to bet larger. It's not about whether you can win bigger amounts. If you keep losing, all you will feel is bigger losses, without enjoying your small wins.

I think we have all been in such situations as bettors where a win feels like a lose at the same time because you start thinking about how much you would have won if you staked higher but the thing is, how would you have known? Sometimes we don't increase our stakes based on our previous experiences and we cannot tell which game would actually be successful, continuing to stake high is very risky.

I would only level up when I’m truly confident with my betting strategy, not just because I see a game and feel like I’m going to win. I’ve learned from that mistake already. I’ve noticed that when I feel too confident, that’s when I lose the easiest.

So like I mentioned, I’ll only increase my bets when my strategy actually improves. That’s the only way I’d do it, and I’d still stick to grinding and always follow proper bankroll management.

The arguement doesn't make any sense, you bet an amount because you are not able to deposit the money you wanted to bet.

And he bet an amount because he wasn't sure about the winning.

Then how it is considered as heart breaking moment even after both of you guys ended up winning whatever the amount.

Yes, I think you are right and you have understood the right thing. I have felt this when I gamble with small amounts, it seems that even if I win, this amount does not affect me in any way and it is more likely to be a loss at the end of the day.

But on the other hand, whenever I have gambled with a large amount, it has been seen that my winnings have been a significant amount. All my big winnings have been in large amounts, not in any small amount, I have not been able to win a large amount till date. Many of us may now say that we gamble only to entertain ourselves.

That does not really fall under underbet for me. When I gamble, I make sure there’s still some thrill in it because that’s where the fun comes from. But when I say I want that thrill, I also make sure it’s still within what I can afford, those two should go hand in hand.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t really enjoy betting if I only put a very small amount and still lose anyway, because it would just feel like a waste of time and money. Fact is that you only think that the amount you're using is probably small because you won and the thought that if you had used a bigger amount that you should have won even bigger always comes to mind at such time. If you had lost, there's no way you will think that using a bigger amount was in any way better.

I have had similar experience, I think it’s normal to feel that way ,sometimes ago I place a bet with small amount because I have been on a losing streak, but didn’t stop , the day I won was the day I least expected, which made me to gamble with small money with the mindset of it may be a win or lost , mentally I was getting tired ,but fortunately I won , i began to feel bad , other days that I bet with higher amount didn’t come , I was happy to see the winning because it has been long but the same time I wished I stake higher , it’s just normal to feel that way.

This surely happened to a lot of gamblers, it was just some normal thing that could happened, I mean most of the time we end up playing safe since it was always a risk of losing so we end up betting on a safer side and in the end regret it since your already thinking about bumping the bet because you think that might be the bet where you are going to win. For me this was just a matter of your risk tolerance most of the gamblers are going to result in playing on smaller bets, it doesn't really mean that they are going to lose, it might just that it takes longer.  The higher the bet the higher the return ofcourse, it was just high risk and high reward thing.

For me it's worth it to do bump or increase your bet if your chances of winning are increasing its a valid take in my opinion and thats probably the best time to increase it, still there are always a percentage that you are going to lose that bet, but I think it's a good risk considering it was a little higher chance than it was used to be. I think people just miss most of the bet, because they weren't really ready to risk. For me if the chance or opportunity shows, it was a good time to just grab it.
