Gambling can never be a side hustle, I just wonder those saying it's a side hustle if they can make profit from gambling like they do in side hustle. Because in side hustle you make some profit at the end of he day while in gambling you lose my the day and no guarantee to win either long time or short. Definitely it's not gonna be side hustle, but just a game of try your luck.

Gambling is not a job or an occupation, yet it still help us making money when we gamble with luck, therefore it can be seen as a side hustle.

However, if we are gambling yet it never provide us an extra income, it will never be viewed as a side hustle. As simple as that.

We all have different views and experiences with gambling, that's why gambling can be a side hustle for some, while others do not see it as one.

For what money isn't made from with sure pursuit is anything to go by with as a side hustle. I don't know how your view about what a side hustle is. I can't narrate it closer enough but gambling is just a chance driven activity and it's no guarantee that engaging would provide funds but could rather liquidate you. I like how specific they are and for someone who are into sports betting, i could say you really make gambling as a side hustle out of it. When it comes to sports bets, we don't rely so much in luck thus most decisions and bets you've made depends on your knowledge, skills you accumulate over the time being focus on sports, or i say sports analyst in your own way. A side hustle is somehting that is like sure to generate yourself some income though, gambling doesn't provide any certainty and for that reason I would say that gambling cannot be called a side hustle. Perhaps if he was hustling gambling supplies or something he could call that a hustle. To be honest for someone to be calling Gamble a side hustle simply means he doesn't really know the real meaning of the word side hustle because if he does he wouldn't have even mentioned it. Side hustle pays you consistently without stop, it's a kind of source of income that is sure and your hope or expectancy isn't based on luck.

Side hustle gives you money consistently, gambling is the other way round, and even if you win it is totally not consistent.

That's the fact, a side hustle is something that's always up and doing and gambling is not, gamble is always gamble we shouldn't miss things up,  I know this same idealogy about gambling as a side hustle is what has distroyed so many gamblers today because they failed in their part and start seeing things from the wrong angle, however the day way failed to see gamble for what it is, is the day we start having issues.

Had it been winning the game is certain, it would have been more easy to do it as a side hustle. But as you can see winning in gambling isn't guaranteed so is quite wrong to see gambling as a side hustle. Some might argue that it is not a side hustle but they will use online gambling platforms to bet and use the money to solve their problems; therefore, it is indeed a side hustle because most gamblers have their full time job but still find their gambling and casino platforms to bet for more money, and they are actually making it big, while some are losing their money to gambling.

I will not follow the crowd in this argument. When gamble, you are struggling to win amidst many losses, you still have the hope to win, that is where the hustle comes. As a gambler, you hope to win one day, that hope is the struggle to win and the struggle there is the hustle to win. Hope, struggle and hustle are literally used in this context.

The win you have, you struggled before winning and that is where the concept of hustle comes in.

I told you before on another thread and I will say it here as well. Gambling is not a side hustle, just because there is a possibility of winning money doesn’t make gambling a reasonable or dependable source of income. I would be very concerned about the life choices of anyone who says they would have starved if they didn’t gamble.

The truth about this thing is that it is not everyone that sees things the same as others. Just in the comment from the photo op posted, the person said that gambling is a sin which you and I knows that there's no way gamble is sin. From that comment alone in the photo, it really explained a lot about some people and how they think. If other gamblers think gamble can be a side hustle, then it's fine for them, but from my perspectives I do not agree to the fact that gamble is a side hustle, a gambler is lucky to day and tomorrow doesn't mean it's easy to win and for take take gamble as a side hustle.

It was? That's a past tense I'm curious to know why you stopped, because if it was a hustle for you and made money from it why not continue? There are few reasons that can make few people give up on this at some point and one of them is incurring losses. Even in a game like poker you can study the game, make use of strategy, manage your bankroll and still end up losing. Gambling wasn't designed to be a side hustle, in the long run it fails.

And one thing you don't understand, side hustling is not something your do always. It is a called hustle, you can stop at anytime and do another for survival. But I can fee what you're trying yo established here. Even though gambling is a side hustle people will still play , cause it's a necessary daily life activity for a gambler who do gamble regularly.

Nope, gambling can never be a side hustle, because gambling is an uncertain dream that may or may not happen, where there is no guarantee of income; it should not be considered as a side job. You must know that gambling has more losses than profits. Most people lose a lot of money by gambling. It’s just like I said earlier. Gambling isn’t a one size fits all. What works for one may likely not work for others, and it’s important to stick to what works for you regardless of what others might say or think. There are people who actually does maintain a long term profitability in gambling, while there are those who are losers even in the long term, so the latter may likely oppose the idea of gambling as a side hustle while the former can beat his chest and say it’s an actual side hustle. Speaking with my experience, there's a possibility that you can make money out of it. When you're winning for example the sportsbet that you are good with, you'll think of it that it's a nice side hustle if you're consistent in winning. But just like me that I have realized that it will be an unstable side hustle. I forget about that reasoning why I gamble and just sticks to the fact that if I lose, I accept it but if I win then I'll be more than happy for it and it can't be lied that aiming for some profits with the bets that I do is always there.
