Why are slots still your favorite even if the house edge is around 3 to 4%?

This post is not meant to discourage anyone from playing. I’m just genuinely curious how other people feel about it, because even me, I’m still playing until now as a past time even though I already know the reality of the house edge.

You should know that you either need more money or you want to have fun hitting the bet button often many times making yourself feel good about it, you know you can't win enough for yourself and that keeping to your plan will eventually fail but you keep trying because humans operates with hope which keeps us alive.

There is no exact reason why you keep or stop playing slot other than fun and hope of winning.

It is very hard to see a casino player that do not like slot, not because of the house edge or anything obviously lying noticeable. I think the obvious reason is how easy slot games are you play because slots are the easiest to play, no much training or specialised knowledge is needed to be able to play. In addition to this, slot have enticing sound system that keeps a player wanting to play continuously.

I gamble for fun so I think the house edge is not a big deal for me. I am always open to the possibility that I could only lose my funds in the end, but since I'm just betting using small funds, losing is never that painful.

However, there's still hope in me wishing to win, I think it goes the same for everyone here.

I just love the excitement I feel, even if it means winning has never been guaranteed. That's how gambling works in general, and I understand it.

There are some slots that have higher house edge which is more than 3 to 4%. People keep playing  slots because they think they can be lucky. Some people are looking for max multiplier while some people will be satisfied with high multiplier. Some people play it for fun. As for me, I rarely play slots now as I bet on sport most now.

Same here, I don't bet on slot that often and to be honest I can't remember when last I play slot. And the reason why I stopped playing slot is due to the experience I had the last time I played it, even though I can't remember the last time I play slot but I can't forget the result I had that very day. I made a deposit of $200 just to try it for the first time and guess what, I lost it just within the space of 20 minutes so ever since then I don't think of playing slot anymore. Sport betting is now my favorite especially football, I have decided not to bet on any other sport games apart from football.
