Holding is much easier, more feasible, less risky, and very easy to manage than trading. Another thing is that trading is a lot like gambling, if you lose here, everything is lost, and at the same time trading is a much more sensitive matter, because even a small mistake in research here, the loss is certain, but in the case of investment, it is a much safer matter. Bitcoin should only be held for the long term, bought consistently and continued to invest ignoring volatility, this is a very easy matter and it is not necessary to know everything, rather you can start investing through common sense, but in the case of trading, you have to research everything, make yourself fully skilled, then you have to start trading, but even after that, the risk is much higher. And so investment is definitely much better than trading.
Well I could be allow to disagree bitcoin is not automatically safe just because it is bitcoin hope you know? Yes it is the strongest, but holding bitcoin blindly is also a bigger risk…tracking down what happened in the past 3 years ago did you no that people who bought at the amount of $69k in 2021 and there were almost 2 or 3 years in loss, which I could still say holding is not easy, holding is psychologically hard…. Well I don’t want to say this out but do you think trading Bitcoin is actually less risky than trading altcoins because it's more liquid and less manipulated? The only thing I noticed in bitcoin is just patient, if you could have enough patient while holding bitcoin is more better than trading but then the said investor must know when to invest, when to sell and the right to carry out whatever activity on the market because if you do not follow the sequential order of the market then you could find yourself running into loses. Again, I won't also encourage anyone to go trade altcoin or even hold them because they are more volatile than Bitcoin whereas, Bitcoin is more stable and less volatile.

Well nobody said holding Bitcoin is risk-free or easy. But between holding and trading, holding is clearly a lot easier and less risky, and that's what we're talking about here. Well I don’t want to say this out but do you think trading Bitcoin is actually less risky than trading altcoins because it's more liquid and less manipulated? Trading profits mostly come down to the trader's knowledge and skills, not the asset itself. That said, trading an asset with plenty of data to work with, deep liquidity, and less room for manipulation is definitely less risky than trading one with limited data to analyze and that's much easier to manipulate.

Many people believe holding is better than trading in crypto but I think it depends on your plan, strategy and what you hope to achieve. When you hodl you it saves you from the stress of checking the price fluctuation everytime and panicking. Also, holding most times gives the coin enough to time to appreciate although this isn't always guaranteed.
Another thing is that when you hodl it gives you time to do and focus on other things rather than monitoring or worrying over a trade. When you hodl it gives you time and room to analyze the market without pressure that lead to emotional decisions. Make sure not too invest borrowed money because you might be forced to sell when the market is not in your favour. Also do not invest all your money in one coin or asset rather spread it across different assets because you never can tell which will be in your favour.

That right , everyone has their way of viewing things in cryptocurrency and everyone perspectives differs so we can’t disagree with others about what they choose to believe in either trading or holding when we don’t actually know how they see things through their own perspectives in the cryptocurrency industry. Either someone prefer trading than holding or prefer holding than trading they all have what they see and why they make such decisions and generally both the trading and holding is a good choice and it can generate profits for them us when we follow it up with responsibility and cool mindset and not get rich early mindset.
Absolutely, not that their choices are wrong, as they may have their own experiences concerning their choices. But it is necessary for people to dedicate time to understanding how the market operates before taking any step, because at the end of the day, it's about what works for them and what they understand best. So when people have this mindset, they will find it easy to navigate through challenges and protect themselves from common mistakes that could ruin their plans.

Holding Bitcoin for a long time will give you a much higher chance of success, altcoins are a lot like gambling, because many altcoins disappear in a short time, and trading is also very risky, compared to these, investing in Bitcoin is much more reasonable. People usually invest their money in risky places like trading or altcoins to get rich overnight, they think that altcoins will make them rich overnight, but they are never good. We cannot get rich overnight from trading, nor can we get rich overnight from anything. Of course, we have to be patient and invest in the right places with patience where realistic prospects are available. Holding Bitcoin for a long time will create a very good chance of success, and this has been proven very well from history.

totally agree. staring at charts all day trying to day trade just feeds the exchange fees and fries your brain. dca-ing into bitcoin and just holding through the noise is way more rational than gambling on random pumps. cut out the shitcoin noise and let time do the work—definitely the smartest survival play here.

That’s true, but some people finds it profitable because they are used to it, and they make some money from day trading, even though I believe that it is possible, but the rate at which they lose money can be higher than the rate at which they make profit if they can have an average analysis of all the money they have been spending to trade on daily basis and the fees exchanges take from them. Holding Bitcoin is more profitable than trading daily, it comes with less risk if you keep the Bitcoin safe, while trading have to be done in exchanges, sending coins from one exchanges to another always and studying the crypto market to avoid losing money, it is stressful but many people chose the path to make their money. I also trade but occasionally, it is good to trade and also find way to invest in Bitcoin, rather than just trading without investing in Bitcoin.

I think before these two, it is important to choose the right coin. Suppose you are deciding to hold instead of trading, but you are choosing to hold a coin that has very low reliability, then we started one step behind in choosing the coin. So I will say first, no matter what we do, trading or holding, we have to choose the right coin first and the right coin is always Bitcoin. Holding is easier than trading in Bitcoin and I have experienced this myself. Holding can usually be done at your own discretion and since its purpose is long-term, it does not require much thought when it comes to market changes, but in the case of trading, things are completely different. Since the main purpose of trading is short-term profit, traders always have the intention of buying at a low price and selling at a high price.

You have made important recommendations in a short paragraph. We need to give importance to accumulation Bitcoin regularly instead of wasting time on unnecessary short term trading. In fact, we sometimes forget that our trading strategy of earning quick profits is very risky. We need to accumulate Bitcoin for the long term through any size of fund. The price will increase or decrease in the market but accumulating Bitcoin in the DCA method will be easy and fruitful. We need to accumulate Bitcoin regularly regardless of the price and through discretionary income only then will we ensure the right use of time. Investing in Bitcoin for the long term is wise, short term trading is not a better method. The sooner you learn to understand these things the easier it will be for you to prevent wasting time.

you have two choices: either you learn and improve or you stop. there’s no shame in admitting something isn’t for you but at least try first to learn and find ways to improve your trading skills.
You’re very correct and I agree with you. If trading doesn’t work for you, what you need to do first is to improve your skills before you even think of giving up. There’s no shame in accepting that trading isn’t entirely your thing, just like you have said. make sure you have tried your best to understand it.

I think holding makes more sense for most people, especially if they don't have the time to follow the market every day. Trading isn't necessarily bad, but it takes discipline and proper risk management. The problem starts when people treat it like a quick way to make money. Personally, I think a long-term strategy with realistic expectations is a better approach for the average investor.

Holding is better than trading to me because it's less complicated snd doesn't involve much complexities unlike trading that has too mcuh risks. One thing about investments is that there's no permanent loss especially when you are focused on investing in bitcoin, no matter how much the price of bitcoin reduces to investors are always going to recover at some point but in trading losses are permanent.
I totally agree with you. Yes, it's true holding is simpler than trading actively but the thing that makes your argument weak here is saying that Bitcoin investors always recover. If we look at the past, it's true Bitcoin recovers, but it doesn't mean it will go the same way in the future, declines and then again hitting new highs. Maybe someone buys it at a high, then he has to wait years, like when Bitcoin reached 100k+ last time and again it's not guaranteed. And losses are a big part of trading and holding. Maybe after buying, that asset didn't break through the basic price at which we bought. But difference is, holders don't have to make quick decisions like active traders, which reduces extra pressure. It's simple to hold but here in this space, simplicity doesn't guarantee profit.
