Many people think holding cryptocurrency is preferable to trading, but I think it really depends on your strategy, plan, and goals. Hodling relieves you of the anxiety that comes with constantly monitoring price changes and worrying. Additionally, holding typically allows the coin enough time to appreciate, though this isn't always the case.Another benefit of hodling is that it frees up your time to do other things instead of keeping an eye on or worrying about a trade.

Hodling allows you time and space to study the market without feeling compelled to make snap judgments. Don't invest too much borrowed money because you might have to sell when the market isn't favorable. Additionally, spread your money over a variety of assets rather than investing it all in one since you never know which will work out well for you.
The most important thing about investing in Bitcoin in the long run is to make decisions based on your financial situation. When you buy and sell on a daily basis, you often make decisions based on fear that you later regret. Again, it is much easier to maintain a long-term plan by saving up for your expenses after meeting your needs than to invest all your money in Bitcoin. Also, having an emergency is important because if one loses a job an unexpected accident, you will not have to sell the Bitcoin you have accumulated.

I agree with the risks you mentioned about investing in Bitcoin by borrowing. However, I think that buying Bitcoin by borrowing is not wrong in all situations. It really depends on the financial situation of the person and their ability to repay the loan. If someone has a regular income, a repayment plan, and has no problem meeting daily expenses or repaying the loan even if the price of Bitcoin drops, then their situation may be a little different.

As a beginner in the crypto space I would not advice you to trade, this doesn't mean that it is not profitable but it is a lot riskier than holding. you need to understand that trading is all about taking advantage of the market changes within a short period of time, this is what makes it gambling to an extent but to those that are able to follow the rules it is possible for them to minimise their losses.

Holding has a lot of advantages and it is also a lot simpler, personally I prefer to hold bitcoin because I would not have to stress myself to always check the charts. They both have their risks but trading is a lot more riskier than holding. But the choice is yours to make.

Totally agree with you. Trading requires deep knowledge of strategies, risk management and a strong mindset to control emotions. Without all of this, your trading is more likely to look like gambling rather than a measured investment strategy.

Indeed, taking advantage of short term fluctuations in trading can generate profits, but it also opens up the possibility of big losses if disciplined rules are ignored. But holding assets like Bitcoin for the long term is much simpler and even long term investing usually keeps your mind relatively calm because you don't have to constantly monitor the charts every day, so your emotions stay stable.

Both trading and investing definitely have their own risks but trading is clearly more risky, especially without good preparation. But above all, the most important thing is that you need to be able to assess your own abilities and capacity first before deciding which path you want to take.

I would never be willing to choose a risky path like trading. Because trading does not only require knowledge but a person has to be complete in all aspects and if a person is bad in one aspect then he will never be successful in trading and will always face losses. For example if a person knows everything about trading but if that person cannot control himself then he will definitely face huge losses.

Investing is much less risky than trading. But it is not easy to hold on to it for a long time. A person has to build faith in Bitcoin, gain knowledge about Bitcoin etc. But yes trading is a much easier investment than

Trading might involve more risk but for those that are already use to the risk they don't longer see it has a risk rather they want to always trade and am going to counter the fact that you  said Trading does not need knowledge. Trading even requires more knowledge because the charts have to be understood because that is the only way you will be able to predict the market so with the knowledge then to me there will be no trade.

And that is why you see people preferring to hold that investing than trading because they are trying to go for the easy one and less risky and even without faith the price of bitcoin will come definitely come around so we should understand what is best and which one will feel is more safer.

Let me brief it.

Trading is good if you understand it, but some people will never understand how to trade but they will continue to lose. If you have been losing in trading, it is a good advise for you to just hold for bull market to come. You still have time to earn weekly or monthly and safe part of your money in bitcoin and make more researches but avoid shit coins. Do not let it be too late before you will understand this. There is opportunity in crypto.

But if you are making money in trading, it is good for you. Earn money and hold also.
Holding is much better than trading, because many people trade speculatively and lose money on every trade. In fact, trading is not an easy way to make money, but it is a very difficult task that requires a lot of experience and deep knowledge of trading strategies. But if a person wants to, he can also achieve success by holding, although it takes time. I think it is better to go ahead with the possibility of a guaranteed profit than to do something risky.

Hehe.. smart move,  mate.  Whether folks wanna admit it or not ,  holding is a solid and more realistic path to  profit.

Trading is just way too risky, because even if you've got the full pro trader starter pack, nothing guarantees you'll end up with a profit.

You can do everything right and still lose money. The market can throw you a curveball, and a lot of that is out of your hands.

Nothing wrong with giving trading a shot tho. But if you're actually looking to make money over the long haul, I'd focus on holding. Simple as that. Just my 2 cents.

I believe one of the key considerations of a good financial plan is knowing when to walk away from a trade when things are not going well at that moment. And secondly not everyone has that time or patience to watch the price movement and start making decisions based on each price movement.  But when it comes to holding, holding gives you the opportunity to concentrate on everyday life without having to react to each and every price move.

But honestly speaking holding actually comes with its own challenges, most especially when Bitcoin's price continues to decline, it’s as that point you’ll start questioning yourself if you really made a right decision.  That is why I believe that holding has to do with patience and being discipline.

Trading bitcoin is very boring, expecting a 3x increase takes quite a long time, the alternative I do to earn income is to hold old coins that are idle, because when the market is bullish they move more quickly and aggressively, the holding period is also not long and the longest is only 6 months.
I thought they normally say hodling is boring because of the frame of the market going up and down, and because of this, people prefer trading as what they want is to make a profit quickly, unlike investing in Bitcoin and hodling. But hodling is the best approach as a bitcoiner because you don't have to pressure yourself, knowing that you will definitely make a profit in your investment by hodling.

With this, the risk of losing is very low compared to trading. Hodling is interesting to those that understand it because while you hodl, you accumulate Bitcoin consistently; you don't just buy and sit and wait for profits.

There is high percent chances that when you trade, you will get rich and bigger than when you trade. There is this thing about trading that sucks, it is always very annoying when you lose your money in the process of trading. We all know how difficult it is to accept trading loss, but to all traders, this is a reality they always embrace, losing has become the other of the day, and instead of this to make you progress, you will rather retrogress.

People who hold and exercise patience are those that are determined to make money no matter the time that passes and no matter the process that is involved. It would be very detrimental to an investor when you haven't traded before, and you want to start trading for the first time because there is every possibility that you must lose your funds.

Due to the fluctuation of Bitcoin price, it is more reasonable to stay in DCA method continuously. This is a holding strategy that should be done through discretionary income. As your income increases the amount of discretionary income will increase and also increase the dynamics of DCA because holding Bitcoin will have a much higher probability of future returns. It is not correct that holding Bitcoin will definitely make a profit. Every investment has risks and strategies must be adopted to reduce this risk. A smart Bitcoiner accumulate Bitcoin in the DCA method in the long term to reduce investment risk.

I do not just hold Bitcoin steady but accumulate Bitcoin in the DCA method every week, which will increase the possibility of getting higher returns from the expected holding because the price of Bitcoin will probably gradually increase in the future. Trading is risky but there is a temptation to earn high profits in the short term. Smart people invest in Bitcoin in the long term compared to risky trading.

Trading can be a great way to get rich or financially successful. However, trading is not for everyone. It is equally important to know how to handle losses that occur due to wrong decisions in trading. No matter how experienced a trader is, it is not possible for him to make a profit on every trade. Many traders try to recover their losses quickly when they lose money on a trade. As a result, they risk a larger amount of money than before. They enter new trades without additional trades or adequate analysis. Taking more risk after a loss means that there is no guarantee that the previous loss will be recovered. If this continues, a small loss can turn into a big loss. Trading is not only about having a profit mindset, you also need to know when to reconsider your strategy.

Someone can make a big amount of money on a trade, but that does not mean that he is a successful trader in the long run. To judge true skill, you should not only look at how much money you have made, but also consider what the results have been over a long period of time. Trading is more risky for those with limited income, difficulty meeting regular expenses, or no savings to use for emergencies. In such situations, losses are not limited to investment losses but can also affect financial stability. Therefore, necessary expenses, debt obligations, and emergency savings should not be used for trading.

Trading should not be seen as a way to get rich quick, but as a high-risk activity that involves skill, experience, discipline, and risk management, as well as uncertainty. Trading is not mandatory for everyone. Nor is it true that not trading will leave anyone financially behind. The key is to choose a path that is consistent with your financial situation, skills and risk-taking ability.

It will make sense if you add "in your opinion". There are traders that has made a very good amount of money than they can ever made on holding coins. This work for them because they know how to play the market. Another person that is a holder might not like this because they have loss money doing the same thing. Some people prefer holding over trading because they don't even have the time, it's subjective to individuals.

If I'm a busy type of person with another career, I will hold and focus on ouside life but if I have good time to spend, I will do the two. You can be a holder and still be a trader. You will be making money trading and also make money from holding. If something happens to trading that you are not prepared, holding will help you protect your investment.

I believe that for newcomers like us holding assets is safer than active trading. Without a solid understanding of the market, trading carries a higher level of risk therefore, it is advisable to keep a significant portion of your portfolio secured through long term holdings or investments in safer assets. This establishes a foundation for your long term financial security. When you experience a series of losses in trading it often triggers feelings of frustration and resentment and the subsequent attempt to recover those losses frequently leads to even greater harm.

Furthermore, when you experience a series of losses in trading it often triggers feelings of frustration and resentment and the subsequent attempt to recover those losses frequently leads to even greater harm.
But as a newbie, you first need to understand which asset you will hold for the long term. There are many types of tokens in cryptocurrency, but you first need to understand which digital asset you will hold increases the chances of making a profit in the long term. In this case, holding bitcoin for the long term or investing continuously is much more convenient. There are many people who spend a lot of money trading to make a profit in a short time. When they lose that money, they do not have the financial capacity to hold it for the long term. Which will prevent that person from investing in bitcoin for a long time. But one thing new investors need to understand is that bitcoin never gives guaranteed profit. So you should always invest with money that can be held for a long time. Because after investing in bitcoin, it may take many years to get a profit from it. If bitcoin is bought with the required money at that time, you will not be able to hold it for a long time. If the price of bitcoin drops at that time, you may face financial losses. Just as you should not take risky decisions like trading, you should also consider certain things before investing in bitcoin, so that you do not suffer losses or are forced to sell bitcoin after a few days.

What you have outlined is excellent for educating beginners, helping them gain experience, knowledge, and insight when choosing an investment approach. It ensures they do not lose their way in understanding these investment methods. A buy and hold strategy is generally more manageable than active trading while both carry inherent risks, holding an asset allows for greater control. In contrast, active trading especially when involving leverage carries the risk of losing nearly your entire capital if one does not fully understand how to use or navigate such instruments.

In contrast, active trading especially when involving leverage carries the risk of losing nearly your entire capital if one does not fully understand how to use or navigate such instruments.
In investing, one should not follow someone else's strategy in the hope of making a quick profit. It is important to understand how a method works and how well it fits with one's financial goals in the long term. For the general public, long-term investment strategies are much more realistic than trading. If someone invests in assets like Bitcoin with a long-term goal, it can be relatively easy to invest according to one's financial capabilities and avoid unnecessary purchases. This reduces the need to worry about short-term price fluctuations or make decisions based on every market situation.

Even if one holds assets in the long term, there can be a major decline in the market. And the value of the investment can decrease significantly. Therefore, it is not enough to have a long-term investment plan. One must also have the financial capacity to hold the investment. Before going for complex trading strategies or leverage at the beginning, first understand the fundamentals. choose a simple method that is consistent with one's financial situation.

To be honest you must understand that there is no guaranteed return on investment or trading. It should be understood since Bitcoin investment is long-term and patiently held, there is potential for profit, but market analysis, technical analysis and a lot of experience are required to gain profit from trading.

Also I think emotional control and psychological challenges, many traders are not able to make profits due to lack of risk management and short-term uncertainty, so if one is more inclined towards trading to gain profit from the initial stage then maybe his chances of losing money are high but if a person practices through demo account at the initial stage and also master the trading strategies then we can say that they will have the possibility of making money. So it becomes clear that investing in Bitcoin is easier compared to trading.
