Gambling is same as trading, we can't say we will keep chasing any direction without our emotional involvement in some ways, this I why you see someone finding it hard to quit gambling even though they just lost their several previous bets, the reason is that emotions that get them tied to chasing that direction.
Through emotions we face losses and lead to our own dangers, through gambling or trading we have emotional relationships, and when we start thinking about everything with emotions, there is nothing left for us except losses. The decisions we make through emotions gradually prove to be wrong. Our emotions can increase by losing or winning money through gambling or trading, so we need to control our emotions while gambling, so protecting ourselves from big dangers.

Another key factor is something called loss recovery bias. After a loss the brain pushes you to believe that the next bet will fix everything. Logically every bet is independent. But psychologically it feels like you are due for a win.

Brother, I agree with you that after losing, our brains are not emotionally stable, and we want to make up for it in the next bet.
I think if someone considers themselves to be disciplined and does not lose themselves to emotion, then they will definitely be able to avoid losses.

Either money or feelings, at least we are still chasing after something in gambling, and that has been the reason why we keep coming to play the more despite the lose, gambling can be enticing and at the same time we enjoy every moment while playing, do feelings is what make us to always come back to gambling and this may be either for money or for the purpose of pleasure being derived.

Yes, money remains the major driver. The uncertainty, near misses, anxiety, and loads of emotions are only there to spice things up. All of these happen because money is at stake, and no gambler wants to lose the money they have invested or miss the chance to double it. Unfortunately, since gambling is unpredictable, gamblers who put in unusual effort sometimes regret it. Gambling should be approached with caution; greed in disguise has really been dealing with gamblers.

What's really the big deal about losing money in gambler. anyone who has been around the gambling industry for quite a long time would understand that losses are inevitable as far as gambling is concerned. And the goal of gambling should't be to avoid losses, whether you are playing to win some money or you're simply in the game for the fun and thrill it has to offer, but to avoid unintended and unplanned losses. Because the moment you want to start to avoid losing, it'll potentially result to loss chasing and attempted loss recovery, which is often the worst path any gambler can ever think of going.
Not many have this mindset about gambling, if they do, they won't be chasing losses or getting addicted unnecessary because they want to play so hard to recover their losses. Maybe they know all of these things, but just find it difficult to control themselves when they gamble. You know this saying, "it is easier said than done ". Many just acknowledge these sayings but never put them into practice in real life.

But it’s not just about experiencing emotions or feeling a bit of excitement over bets, there’s also a desire to win. So if I were playing and it was only about emotions without any return in the form of winnings, I probably wouldn’t be able to keep playing for long. For me, it’s important that wins and losses alternate at least to some extent, so I don’t see a significant drop in my bankroll. And if that balance is combined with the emotional aspect, I could continue playing even without a clear overall profit.
You're right, because nobody wants to see their funds drop. We all want to win above all else. I always try to win, but the truth is the casino system isn't that easy. They don't allow us to win as much as we'd like, and in part that's how it should be. They aren't charitable organizations, they aren't organizations to help others; they're mostly just businesses that live off gamblers, and you can win when you're lucky.
