Why isn't this coin working? I have tried different miners and different pools and can not get anything to work.
use sgminer 4.1 with darkcoin kernel (sgminer.exe -k darkcoin) and you will mine it Any link to this? Thanks . So the latest version (4.2.3) doesn't work with this coin? Seems odd. Probably does That's just the version I'm using, it's probably a special fork (SPH-sgminer) - search for it in the DRK, HVC, HIRO or MYR threads, I got it from wanting to mine those coins. Also check the http://cryptomining-blog.com/, they usually have all the insights into special and custom versions of miner software. Good mining

can not find it gettransaction 69bd8e5fd35de75cd11de2df1bb9a4a2c8a997fbcdd7800878ca89d5cbdf81fa
Invalid or non-wallet transaction id (code -5)
[/quote] SHIT! WFT!??!? I guess I'll have to wait for the pool to check what's wrong ... it's their transfer, I'm just the schmuck that lost 2 days worth of mining this coin. I better to a transfer from the other pool and check this out too. Thanks for the help EDIT: the 2nd pool is the same ... either the pools or I must be using the wrong wallet! Can anyone confirm withdrawals from vc.cpu-pool.net or vc.talesfromthescrypt.org ?

I cant withdraw from vc.talesfromthescrypt.org either and I'm to afraid to try the other pool at this point. I'm probably gonna mine something else if I can't get the correct wallet download.

All mining efforts are lost (I'm supposed to have almost 13 VCs and have zero). Is there any chance of ever recovering from this???
Can you assure that there's at least a working pool??
I am pissed at this

My wallet address is VLXpEHZ4bsWSanMoVuVxGugvBiNDbwbdsn, the grand total (transferred) is 13,47965572 and the outstanding is 5,342784the following are snapshots that show how much I tried to transfer and how much is still there, being confirmed god knows how and where to I'm no longer mining, until I get a confirmation of at least two working pools. I like VC, but so far it's been 3 days of mining down the drain Whatever you can do to restore my confidence is important to me, and I will get my hash power back, with working pools. Do take notice of the insane hashrates these pools have! How come nobody reported a problem before?

https://cpu-pool.net/vc/index.php?page=statistics&action=poolCPU Pool mining correctly & on correct block. If you are not getting coins, it could be a payment issue, please inform the op of this pool. But don't use the other pool (talesfromthescrypt), it is not mining VC coins, as it shows different blocks. ALERT Tales from Scrypt (do not use, users reporting issues with mined coins)

My first transfer, the one you didn't find, is from CPU ! (I always try to use lower hash pools, both to spread power and because my miners are low powered :-P) The response they gave to my support request was the italic part of one of my posts before ... they simply say that the problem is mine Pretty sure they're not ok either, even if the block count is right, but maybe it's something still recoverable ... Keep us posted, please.
