Hello dear Paolo,

There has been a issue with the withdrawals. Somehow the transaction our mastercore broadcasted were not included in any blocks.

We found its related to the current malleability attack on bitcoin since most of our withdrawals have been changed in transaction id

Due to the intensive manual process we need to make, and the fact that we only have a couple hours a day available to work on this, we expect to solve this within a couple of days

Also, to be safe in this case we have to be sure the input tx are all spend and make a lot of manual work, so it will take a bit of time

Hes delaying bitcoin withdrawals for a few months now, there is no reason for bitcoin to take 3-5 days to be sent especially when the exchange has lost it's volume and there's really low activity, if he's unable to work faster than a bank then he'll better just shut down the exchange instead of making people nervous about their moneyz.

MasterXchange is very fishy lately, withdrawals are being delayed for 3-5 days as if he waits for others to deposit..  hes killing the exchange..

Be careful with MasterXchange, i'm still waiting my msc withdrawal (636.25511582 msc), they say that the withdrawal is "Done" (i did the order more than 72 hour ago, and they put the order in Done Status more than 48 hour ago)  but no transaction yet, this is the adress: 13sLCg4gvKYJT6mV8Wwf7wt2oJeUuSoABq

Thanks a lot asshole!  Now he did finally shut down the exchange because of you.  I liked that exchange.  Quick withdrawals are totally unnecessary.  I rather have safety.

You must be an idiot thinking that was because of me.  He was probably getting more email support requests than actual withdrawals while people waiting for days, and that is probably because they didn't do their job in the first place processing withdrawals. looks like the snowball got too big for them to handle.

And if (i say if) someone is buying Omni (mastercoin) just because there is no Omni (mastercoin) on the exchange, and so,  no Omni (mastecoin) to manage withdrawal requests?

Just checking in, I appreciate the weekly updates on the blog, but the market seems to think this project is dead. Now with Cryptsy apparently going full GOX and masterexchange shutting down- is it even possible to buy mastercoin anymore?

I guess everyone moved to poloniex(already called it omni) , you also have BTER, and omniwallet.org, and soon the new dex..

I'm a crypto newbie and discovered mastercoin recently, and learnt that it was the first crypto 2.0 project, and raised a ton of funds. What happened? why is mastercoin doing so poorly compared to the competition? I don't mean to sound rude, just genuinely interested in piecing together what happened. I appreciate people are probably still working to make mastercoin a success in the future, but something must have gone wrong somewhere in the early days to lose first mover advantage and all the ico funds.

A classic story of hubris really. Would you believe that the counterparty folks once offered to actually help build mastercoin? Yep. It was almost once one cohesive project of Bitcoin 2.0 tech. Now it's nothing really, and the division that was sowed in the community lead the real corporations to simply build their own projects rather than collaborate with the bickering "communities" down here below.

So yeah. Great idea, but ideas are not enough.

I was testing out TetherUSD, and realized that I'd ideally like to hold my TetherUSD on my phone or computer instead of using a web wallet. Omni Core, the desktop client based on Bitcoin Core, is very close to a release. The third release candidate "rc3" is currently the latest version.

The release candidates are not yet intended to be used in production environments. They were only announced to a smaller circle, such as the developer mailing list, and zathras posted a blog post.

Does anyone from the dev team read tickets at zendesk? I created one and been waiting for 4 days for it to be resolved. I can't send funds from the online wallet ("Funds could not be sent: Error preparing transaction: undefined").
Edit: tried to do to it using different browsers with no plug-ings enabled, no luck.

I'm not very familiar with the zendesk process, but I created https://github.com/OmniLayer/omniwallet/issues/1242 to track the issue right at the source level.
