We used to do a lot of molding with mud clay just for fun… it’s been ages I touched mud, I might give it a chance now. Just inform us when this competition will start and end so I can get ready…. Good mud is not easy to find here.

You are very free create anything like sculpture, pottery, tiles, figurines using just mud/clay you mixed yourself at home…..very easy and important that what make the contest more lively.

Why This Contest? honestly speaking my vision behind this contest,well this contest was really born from my own beautiful belief about clay modeling as a kids back then…well the perspective’s was more like dream come to pass and more like an desire…and also beyond this contest well the goal is to cultivate love and that unique community, and also I have learnt that this local broad is so full of Hidden Talent ARTISAN’S which is to somehow showcase hidden beautiful talents here all wish you guys the best ❤️‍🩹

This very good idea and good memories give a clay soli for more knowledge I think in primary school or secondary school a teacher give us assignments to mode different shapes of clay ways to develop assets in class it also give More knowledge for you bringing it to the forum it better to learn.
I can also remember in Nigeria traditional a lady in Nigeria who also in the back of 50 naira make sure in Nigeria history many ways today in home used the clay pot for water consume it also remember me about my grandma useing for arranging it in the room with my options it before one of the traditional way and celebration.
To add up to my opinion is useing the method way of it.

However, this contest has reminded me way back when I was still at school in my secondary school days, we used to design some amazing creatures with this same mud, maybe this contest is just a way of Bringing me back to what I love doing.

If you ever attended your primary school time in Nigeria and you didn't had the experience of making a clay design as part of the schools curriculum then you really didn't enjoy your elementary school time growing up. I remember how we use to spend the entire weekend molding any sculpture of our choice towards the new week for submissions, it was a thing of pride those days as a child carrying your design to school while strangers stare at it and even making comparison and jester with those of your classmates. This contest does bring back lots of childhood memories.

mine wasn't in primary schooling days but rather the secondary school days and i was very good in fine and applied art at the secondary school level and to be frank, sculpture and clay works were one of my best works as well as the tie and dying days but everything are just memories and might seem just difficult to go back to such memories as activities of life wouldn't permit.
@Mr Reporter, this is a great initiative i must commend and i hope you have more better option someday and i hope this continues just like the Roobet art context and other similar contest.

That's honestly a great ideas and good opinions to consider seriously, opening this great contest to every members across the Forum is a good initiative, regardless of thier local board either the background is actually a strong steps to build unity.  let there not be restrictions for anyone, it actually creat forum  for different ideas since it's creativity that must be done with talent, let there be good engagement in order to make the contest very competitive and challenging, moreover the members from different parts of the forum can come together and connect as one love. Let the love leads as you said, it should be the common goals. I hope you get a glad responses soon.

Wonderful idea and a very great contest, I love how you arranged it and the rules you used in this contest it will make the contest even more exciting. Sadly those who are in major cities in Nigeria right now will find it very difficult to locate sand that will be proper for the competition  those who are in the village will find it more easy to join this contest, if a see a good sand I may participate in this contest because I really know how to mud but if I can’t find a sand to use then I will just watch the beautiful art work by others.
This content will be filled with interesting art work, I know that for sure.

Yeah this is a wonderful idea and a great contest of the yea, and I commend him for putting this effort so far, but unfortunately not everyone that can participate in this contest base on location to get the mud just as you suggested, and the problem is that such  Clay for molding can not be seen in the city market. I guess I will send request to get a mud from the village to the city, atleast that will be better, don't you think so? Because going to the  village will cost more transportation. If I don't get a waybill from my village, I guess I will watch the contest process just as you think. But I still wish to participate anyway
