Greetings everyone, I want to call you guys attention to this thing I noticed just in case you intend to do the same thing. I just noticed that some people are not doing their muding by themselves, they are going to meet craft  men to help them do the muding, but it's fine. I am going to add another rule to the existing rules, and as for those who have already acted smartly, don't be surprise if you work never appear on the final list for voting.

Absolutely, I think doing it yourself doesn't have to mean it must look bad or unpolished, skill level varies and some individuals have the experience any tools to produce very refined work on their own either way creativity and effort should still consider, having good looking tools or finishing doesn't automatically means it wasn't self created.

With the statement that's what he is implying, because if he only consider the works that are looking average then it shows that he doubts the ability of people here to actually make clean and standard work which is totally wrong and it would just dent the image and competition spirit of the contest, I know how long it took me to work out something on the contest and if there is one thing I have noticed is that Nigerian are very talented persons especially when it comes to where they can showcase their skills and talents of which this contest is a perfect medium for it.

Yes, the contest is gaining popularity even from outside the local board and it’s nice seeing everyone showcase their works. In the beginning I was sure I knew which art submissions were going to win but now the competition has become tight that it’s hard to pick one.

Yes, it has become hard to pick the best. I am seeing a lot of good mud made by some people and I cannot really tell which is the best however, just like you said at first, I was thinking it would be easy for me to pick because I saw a particular guy with a very good mud I was thinking no one would beat or come close to him, but I was surprised to see that a lot of people are even Mudding more beautiful art work. this contest is going to be among the best contest in this forum and the OP should continue doing this contest.

Yes, it has become hard to pick the best. If you’re given the opportunity to pick, you’ll go on selecting almost all the crafts because they can’t stop to be that amazing and looking great as everyone is crafting nothing short of excellent.

Yes, it's true that some people decided to wait until the last days of the deadline before submitting their respective mud arts in other to prevent other people copying their style, but however I'm happy the first phase of the Mud Contest is successfully over and the thread have just been locked as we step into the next phase, which is the voting phase to determine which mud contest was the most beautiful among them all. However, I just feel bad, I was too busy and I almost forgot I initially picked interest to participate in it this year. So I will give it a try next year.

Absolutely, life gets too busy sometimes and before one can know it , opportunities passesbby the good things is one already have the interest and mindset to participate , so next year you will probably come in more prepared and with even better ideas also it's nice to see the first phase that ended successfully despite the competition and different methods individuals used.
