I made an exchange three days ago, and today I cannot find the details via the link https://dex.fo/order?id=xxx.
I think it is right that even if someone finds out my order ID, they cannot access information about the exchange after a few days have passed. The receipt of coins can be verified on the blockchain or in the wallet.

This is because of privacy reasons

I believe they delete all data about the old sessions after a few days because if there is any leak or authorities want to request data then they can not comply or leak anything about customers.

Because this is a NO KYC and NO AML exchange, it is good that they work like this

This is the reason you need to download the Letter of Guarantee, because it will never expire as the signature is valid forever and you can always prove or get support after many days have passed

On average, the exchange takes 30–45 minutes, if no issues arise, I only save the exchange ID.
Although saving the letter of guarantee would be a useful habit.

Apparently I dont have LTC right now to transact and test it out if this will still seek for a refund address or its a visual bug for the swapping of the names base on the Javascript and not in the whole system itself.

You don't have to exchange Litecoin to test that.
Just set the sending coin to Litecoin and leave the refund address field empty. You will see that the "Exchange" button remains disabled and you won't be able to proceed to the next step at all.

Today I used your service to exchange ETH to BTC and everything went smoothly and without any problems, the exchange was completed in 35 minutes.
I'm glad that you accepted my proposal and introduced a "guarantee letter" that has already become the standard of this industry.
The page is transparent, with all the necessary information for the user, but one thing is still confusing to me.
Even half an hour after the transaction was completed and the funds were deposited into my account, these 3 messages are still being exchanged on your page: ''awaiting confirmations'' and ''processing your deposit'' and ''waiting for block finalization''.
Is it an error in the system?
In any case, the transaction went smoothly and without problems, relatively quickly, so I'm not complaining, but for some users this could be a bit confusing (if they are sending funds to someone else and that confirmation is important to them).

If you forget anything can happen and in 30 minutes you wonder where is the money but the order is not loading and you do not have the money. I do not think this will be a big problem with DEX.fo but you should check everything before you send any money because even the address can be altered if you have a malware in your pc or phone

So your target is only 0.0465 BTC. Well, that's great because at least you know how much you need, and in the next 10 years it could give you at least 3x. And why would your children be wowed after 20 years? I mean, by the same amount?

Sometimes you'll have to spend money to get something and if it's about getting your life partner then I believe it's going to be a good deal. I know in 10 years or in 20 years time  0.0465 BTC would be huge amount if price of per coin reaches $5 million but still you would have spent 20 years with your wife and that thing matters as well.

It's not a bad deal I guess, it's better to spend that amount to get a wife than spending thousands of Bitcoin to buy some pizzas. By the way you can use Dex.fo to swap your BTC to USDT or any other stable coin for that purpose.

Confirmed — this is a bug, not intentional. LTC should follow the same optional rule as every other pair. Thanks for flagging it clearly with repro steps, makes this much faster to track down and fix.

Good point, and timely given we just added two more domains. A PGP-signed verification page listing all official domains is the right move — adding it to the near-term list. BitList already covers this well in the meantime (thanks TryNinja for confirming all domains are indexed there).

There are many reasons to save the LoG. One of which is ensuring you are sending coins to the right address by a means of verification. I have understood that if anything goes wrong, I'll be needing the LoG more than the Oder ID.

I have made the mistake, from henceforth i'll not fail to save the LoG.

There are many reasons to save the LoG. One of which is ensuring you are sending coins to the right address by a means of verification. I have understood that if anything goes wrong, I'll be needing the LoG more than the Oder ID.

The other and the biggest reason is that the Letter of Guarantee acts as proof that you actually sent your coins to an address that is owned by the service and this is verifiable. Sometimes we do have phishing websites that look exactly similar to the original genuine service, and users to fall victim to those scams without noticing, and they will accuse the genuine service of stealing their funds. A letter of guarantee in this case helps settle the dispute.
