Hi,

It’s obvious that the casino was shady.

They haven’t been able to prove their innocence despite all the claims and evidence posted on the forum showing that they may have forged a fake license. They have also been inactive on the forum since then.

It’s sad that you may have been their first victim here on the forum. Although, I don’t think you found them here. You probably dealt with them outside the forum and decided to make a report here to see if you could get a response.

This is a good reason to always do proper research on a casino’s reputation before making any deposit. Some casinos may claim to offer good services, no KYC, and instant withdrawals, but these can sometimes just be promotional tactics used to attract victims.

edit: once your edits of website are finished, can you explain how it is possible to find ONLY ONE regulated website in this "https://gamblingcostarica.com/" register? It seems the only approved is your website, other big Casinos (including .us) are just not registered...
I don't think this website is an official website for the Costa Rica gambling license because when I checked the internet, there was no official website for Costa Rica gambling license because there is no gambling dedicated commission to give out license. If Costa Rica has a gambling commission to issue a license, from this case we have seen and confirmed but as it is now there is no such in existence. I tried to make a research if Costa Rica has a gambling license but the research says NO, so where the Op is getting his from?

It's so unfortunate to see that a gambling platform that is meant to be reputable is having a negative rating, and this is not something good at all. How can such a platform be trusted when it has not been revealed by other members as a reliable gambling casino? Trust really matters most in anything that we do. I think anyone who may want to consider using this platform, or any other I should consider the ratings or reviews of a casino before using it.
While I can't comment on the specifics of the rating. I do see how it could be a concern to potential users of a gambling. Site that offers deposits and withdrawals. I don't believe that one rating is the sole determining factor in determining the credibility of a casino. It is advisable to see why the rating is given. The history of the platform how the platform deals with withdrawals and what others have experienced. While casino brands can do a great job of making a strong first impression. It's trust gained through transparency and a proven history that will resonate over time.

I wanted to share something that put some more light on how shady this casino operator is, I wrote an article and exposed them on my website about all the findings that were put to light in this thread.

They reached out to me on email the 8th of July, 5 days after the article was published, were they requested me to update or remove the article.

They started the email by writing this:
"We'd like to clarify that we never intended to mislead anyone. We purchased what was presented to us as a legitimate licensing-related service and relied on the information provided to us in good faith. After the concerns were raised and we conducted our own review, we realized we had been misled."

I asked them if they could provide info about how they were reached regarding purchasing the license from gamblingcostarica(dot)com. And what was presented in the outreach (I asked for screenshots of the communication).

Then they suddenly CC'ed in the email their "legal advisor" which was handling the matter and would provide any additional info of what was requested by me. (He never followed up).

So regarding the screenshots, the casino representative wrote this:
"Regarding the screenshots, I am currently waiting for a response from our legal counsel to confirm whether we are permitted to disclose them."

For this part, how a company contacted them with a sales offer does not constitute any sensitive legal evidence that required counsel approval, so that is just some bullshit excuse to not provide and most likely cause this was intentionally all made up by themself.

I followed up and gave them a date until 12.07.2026 to provide requested screenshots and clarification of some points I raised, but they did not get back to me with anything.

And last month the 18th of August I got an email from a new brand called Klyroll, they wanted to partner with me and the interesting part here is that the site is 100% identical to Glorbet, and both of the brands use afflines(dot)com, a affiliate system that no one in the iGaming industry has heard of, and was recently introduced on another gambling forum.. from a user with the username Klyroll, so the puzzle pieces are being put together now that all of this is all coming from the same team. So it then also makes even more sense that they created this fake Costa Rica license website themself as well, since they did not follow up with info regarding that Smiley

Hello,
So, I`ve finally received a message from Glorbet. And I quote:

Hello,
We completely understand your frustration regarding the delay, and we sincerely apologize for keeping you waiting.

During the review of your gaming sessions, our game provider detected highly unusual and identical patterns in your gameplay, which raised concerns that the sessions may have been played using automated software or a bot rather than by a genuine player.

To complete the verification and confirm that the account is operated by a real person, we need you to make a new deposit equal to the amount of your current withdrawal. This deposit is required specifically for the verification process.

Once the deposit is successfully completed and the verification confirms that the account is operated by a genuine player, we will be able to process and release your full withdrawal.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience  and frustration.

Customer Support.

Do not deposit. You can ask them to provide you communication they had with the game provider, timestamp of play and what game they mean you have used "automated software".

However, no legit casino will ever ask you to deposit the same amount as your withdrawal, it sounds like a trick to scam you for more money.

Please and please. Do not deposit anything into that casino. It's an old trick used by scam casinos. "Verifying" that you are human does not require you to deposit money. This is a confirmed scam and I think we need to create a reference thread for the trust flag that is going to be created against them. These scammer have no bit of shame in them  Grin

Glorbet.
This statement makes it clear that the casino is trying to scam you out of your money. No legitimate casino in the world asks people to deposit new money into their account for verification, they usually verify it through ID card or face verification, If you deposit the same amount of money in the hope of withdrawing it, it will completely disappear along with the previous money. Don't give them another penny even if you make a mistake.

Hi,
I`m well aware that I won`t get the money and that these people are thieves and scammers. I`ve also posted about my case on other forums including casino Guru to warn other players.

I asked the casino to provide evidence for the claims made( such as the provider, the time,...etc,) and , if necessary to contact the game provider, to get to the bottom of the matter, however I have`t yet received a reponse.
