Congratulations to all other winners, I guess Team Naija ran out of steam down the stretch, but I really do like the band and would be looking forward to playing again some other time, to the sponsors and organizers, you all made the world cup a worth while tournament, and 45 days felt like a week, I honestly would given almost anything to have the experience and fun for one more week, but it is what it is, and looking forward to the next one.

So many opinions to echo here and I will use this one from one of my favourite teams of the tournament, you guys did your best but there are small differences that gave way, and you should still be proud to finish above the mafia. But yes, barring some additional work I had over the final week, I'd really liked to have gone toe-to-toe with you guys in this format another week.

But Southeast Archipelago aren't done, we stand ready to play another tournament if you guys are. Come prepared!

P.S. Asia and Africa > Europe and South America (to reference an ongoing trope in our chat haha).

Is not a consolation but i can say now, we only lose against the champion. :p

It actually is a bit of a consolation for me, especially knowing just how close we came to knocking them out. We just needed one last moment of magic from Messi but it wasn't meant to be.

That being said, WPRA showed that they are a strong team and we competed intensely against them right until the end, luck just wasn't on our side when it mattered most. If there was any team I would have preferred to see lift the trophy, it was definitely WPRA so knowing they went all the way makes our loss feel a little easier to digest.

Now we have some time to reset, regroup and prepare for the next event. Our team is only going to come back stronger so everyone better watch out for Team South America! We are already preparing for the next edition.

Congratulations on winning this competition, totally deserved!
There were so many unexpected and surprising results at the world cup that it was really difficult to guess the results.
It was a very uncertain and difficult competition, my team unfortunately got eliminated in the round of 16, but this was a really great competition that I enjoyed, congratulations to the organizers.
I hope we will have a similar competition again soon.

Thanks mate, I still remember that we kicked off the World Cup with our personal H2H match!
I also haven't forgotten that "Team Croatia" was crucial for us to get the group win when you defeated the "Three Lions".
Regarding the World Cup, I still haven't got over the fact that the penalty for Portugal against Croatia was a very soft one.
Other matches had similar incidents but no penalty was called....one of the reasons why I don't enjoy watching football matches anymore - there is no clear line!

I remember your words yes,,, that finally we would need a penalty and this time it would win it, the funny thing I did not mention was I initially went for 2nd half minute but I thought the opponent would go sooner so I scaled down, seems in the end it was not important.

Thanks Trofo and everyone behind this great tournament. It was lot of fun. Hopefully, we'll have more tournaments like this in the future, not just for the World Cup. I'm sure there will be more.
