Both are intrinsic and correlated; it's not a matter of agreeing with one or the other, both must be present. The reality is that users often don't read, much less verify the licend. Perhaps the license requirement is simply assumed to be sufficient, but verifying its status is almost the same as reading the TOCs.

Some countries, like Costa Rica, don’t issue gambling licenses. Many casinos were registered there because they have low taxes for businesses and they have less oversight. For all it matters to gamblers there isn't really much difference between the two in terms of protection against wrongdoing. You might consider that casinos who have paid for a license, instead of just company registration, have probably invested more money into the process which will usually make them a little more legitimate. However there is such variation between different licensing jurisdictions, you have to know which are the high quality ones that actually mediate and enforce rules properly, versus those that are basically a rubber stamp operation accepting any company as long as they pay the fees each year. It can be a highly lucrative business for small nations, but they can target both markets.

Not really. I don’t place much value on licences from Caribbean countries; they’re nowhere near as strong as European licences. I feel the same way as FinneysTrueVision and yhiaali3. I only gamble at casinos that don’t ask me for KYC, and I don’t care much whether they’re licensed or not. I might potentially have better legal protection if I had to sue the casino. But realistically, given the amounts I bet, it would be far more expensive for me to take legal action than the amount they might cheat me out of. If I add to that the fact that I’ve never had any problems with any casino, I don’t see why I should worry any more.

I am not verify the license number and feels the TOS enough and if they can services members better, that is enough for members too. They don't feels anything unless just want to playing gambling without a problem.

But unfortunately, not many casinos can gives this to members and not thinks about losing their loyal members because of small problems.

But license is important, that can increase members confidence, they are in the right place to gamble and will enjoy their gambling activities without worry.

This is very correct, to get registered as a company in a country does not mean you are given licence. Registration is done by separate government organisation from the ones that will licence the casino. Registration is not costly at all, it is license that is costly.

I do three mistakes in gambling.

The first is that I do not check games seeds as long as people are saying the gambling site is trustworthy.

I do not check the RTP and house edge of games on the gambling sites if the gambling site is trustworthy.

The last is that I do not check the licence, I only check it on their ToS. If no one is saying otherwise on this forum and the gambling site is trustworthy, I believe. The truth is that most of us do not even know how to check if casinos licensed or lying.

A valid license usually can be verified on the license provider website which should be mentioned by the casino even it’s just stated on their ToS.

Most of the time, Casino that doesn’t have verifiable license usually have company registration as described by the OP and mostly from Costa Rica which casino registration is much easier to achieve compared to other country.

All legit license provider requires casino to display a logo that redirects to authentication of their license. But all this license shenanigans is proven not helpful in case you truly have issue on casino because they are very slow to handle cases against casino and usually they favor the casino.

Even I didn't used to check much whether it's a licensed or registered casino.
Whenever I went through the site's TOS I just checked if it is a registered casino site or not.
But yeah, this is a good note to verify whether a particular site is licensed or registered under a particular country.
Better off is to use a non-KYC site itself as others mentioned.

By reading the terms and conditions alone is not enough, if you want to make sure of course it can be verified easily, and usually the casino always lists the license number at the bottom if there is no writing then the casino has no license.

No. Some other members are professionals in that area, and I leave all that up to them... I don't even care about the licence & regulations, it's not in the spirit of crypto. For me, having a registration number alone is not enough for a gambling casino that intend to offer it's service both locally and internationally. Because what a registration does is to show that the casino exists legally somewhere. Unlike having a casino license which usually shows a casino is either allowed to run a gambling operation or not within a stipulated geographical location. Including if is it's activities are been monitored for the benefits of the general gambling community.
However, when it comes if do I trust casino's TOS, I will genuinely say I personally don't trust it, simply because those are just written text made up by themselves, because until a casino has a verifiable license, it still stands as a potential risk

Registered as a company is very much not the same as a gambling license. But a gambling license could mean nothing in which the laws of a country make the license seem as a joke or easily achievable. So you should also take note of the country where the casino has its license and the laws there. What do people say about it? Are they trustworthy enough?

All questions you should be asking when looking at a new casino you might wish to join.

Don't say that… There are a lot of casinos which are not registered that are out there and are operating; you won't know unless you are part of their customer base and see the need to check and verify. Registration is not just about launching the casino, but it also has to do with bodies which they are actually registered with, which you can contact if anything.
