As for me, all the blame goes to the government, and not to the citizens. When a citizen is corrupt, he or she can be punished by government, but you cannot punish any government that is corrupt, because the power of punishment is with them. If for example, the prices of goods and services are high in a country, the government of the country is suppose to have a regulatory measures to ensure prices of goods are stable, and you don't leave that aspect for citizens to handle. The duty of every government is to make sure things work well in the society, more especially to solve the challenges confronting citizens. Where there is no government, citizens behave anyhow they want, but the presence of good governance makes things work well , and make citizens of a country to follow law, and order.

The government is responsible for the economic situation, but I do not think it is right to place all the blame entirely on them. Because there are factor causing inflation, crises, and economic instability that are beyond their control

For example, the Covid-19 pandemic or the surge in global oil prices by geopolitical tension have affected and triggered domestic inflation. Clearly, these thing were not fully under the government control, so blaming them for everything is not fair

Managing and running the economy is not as easy as we think. It is extremely complex and far beyond our understanding. Therefore, do not rush to criticize and blame them without understanding the root cause.

In fact, it is not that simple to do this because there will be many parties harmed, including the rats who work like bloodsuckers from time to time.
The corrupt have gotten into the bones of the country, they set themselves up there and build access to corruption that will not be easily broken by them.
A country that is suffering from corruption needs to be reformed, the system changed and everything evaluated, including many leaders who must be destroyed, because usually from the grassroots to the top already has indications of corruption if the political system is bad.

The economy will be better if the political system and education become better in a country.

The government are the onces running the country they are the onces making decisions as and policies and they are the one responsible for this situation that we find our self, and my problem is that the government officials are just to corrupt especially in our own African countries they care about them self and there families and they continue to loot money from tax payers money and they are not give back to the society and the inflation might be a global problem but what are they doing just to fix the problem they only care on building roads, and neglecting other things that needs to be addressed. The first thing is how the citizens are doing and there something that even the government need to subsidize just to give them relief,  and from the way things are going the citizens are going to be turning there back against the government.

It is very simple, anyone that is directly benefiting from the government will never see anything wrong as corruption in that government and they will never say anything against the government even when they knew that all is not well, the government is the center of the economy and where the center can not hold things will definitely fall apart but however, how long can we keep waiting for the government? the government is a bunch of people just like us, the difference is that they are given the opportunity to hold important positions and represent society. If we want change, we need to be patient, even when the current government is corrupt and never ever allow ourselves to become corrupt just because things are unfair.

When the time comes and one of us has the chance to hold a position in government, if we have built a habit of integrity, we will be less likely to be influenced by a culture of corruption. From there, we can begin to change that culture but keep in mind that it won’t happen quickly because changing habits/culture is never easy.

The bad economy may be a result of bad governance.Individually,trader can be heartless,imagine plucking/picking fruits in your garden and inflating unusual price on them,and if you should ask them what could be the reason for the sudden increase in price they would respond that the price of dollars is high.Funnily enough,what doesn’t the price of dollars got to do with the fruits you got from your garden?honestly this isn’t actually funny because that’s what we’re facing in Nigeria.Most time we shouldn’t blame the government for everything,let’s get down to the bottom line of how traders are manipulating the economy all in the name of “dollars”.

Because economy policies are made by the federal government and the state governments only implement what the federal government established. What is happening in Nigeria today is the bad economic policies and the taxations. Just wait for a little moment and think for a while that in the era where corruption is a very common thing internationally and worldwide all countries. So, don't you think that the federal government and the state government altogether can make such policies where they can benifit thier ownself after sucking each citizen and resident's money out of that country in different ways? Likes, increasing taxes on many things, increasing the rate of inflation, cost of living because of poorly designed policies.

A big Example of these days is Trump haha, who became the president of the US and benefited himself the most, and his net worth has tripled since the days he became the president of the USA. He used the stock and cryptocurrency markets to benefit himself. We all know how much he manipulated the crypto and stock market and all that time when the majority of traders and investors were losing their money, he was increasing his net worth count all that time. So, corruption is very common these days, where politics is not a benefit for a coutries and its citizen beacuse it is more like a business of these days using which politicain increaing thier own networth.

The state government could also be causing the economic problems in there state and we would be thinking straight to the federal government, if you have travel to almost all the state in Nigeria you will experience one thing to each of the state you will go from the prices of things there because is either some of them sells very cheap and has a lot of way they produce things and send to other states and at the same time some state are very expensive to stay because you must either have a good paid work or source of income otherwise you can't so actually the reason why some state are very cheap with good economy is there state government because they didn't want to depend on the federal government but they use the power and resources they have to sustain it so actually that's what all state governors should do.

Very true. If only few people who criticize the government and propose the policy change, it will be useless. It needs support from all citizens, so the government will consider it as a serious matter. Moreover, it is related to the issue of corruption. It will be dangerous if it is only issued by few people only. Those corruptors probably will take some possible actions to the people. That's why it requires the support from big people if the public/citizen wants to propose certain policy changes, including it is related to corruption matter.

Basically, they are the one who are responsible in decision making in terms of the country rules and regulation also they are the one who makes an arguments and talk to other country so how they can deal with the transactions but imagine if you are one of the countries who are in corrupt people and imagine the people can be bought their votes and get suffered through out their term. Humans are very selfish in nature, and everyone is looking for his or her own benefit, that's why a business person will prioritize profit over anything else. You will see a business person over charge on a particular goods or services, just to make more money, because the agencies in charge of price control of goods and services in the country are not doing their job properly, and all these are happening because the interest of the general public are not  being prioritized or protected by the government properly. They have failed to understand that it's their duty and it's the major act of governance, that is why I will be blaming the government on anything that is happening wrong to the economy of the nation.
