It's unfortunate that it's not a title fight; then again, it's still a very interesting fight as the title's greatest British heavyweight is on the line. Fury is very eager and ready, but Joshua needs to impress by beating Prenga so people will believe that he is really back and ready to face Fury. I have to see the condition of Joshua before I make my prediction, but all I know is he is very determined to be in the best condition of his life. There were many videos of Joshua training alongside Usyk, so he is on the right path to good condition.

Finally! I was waiting for a long time to see this fight but I am not sure they are both on top of the form this year. Fury already lost two times against Oleksandr Usyk, same as Anthony Joshua, and latest odds are showing Fury is a big favorite this time. I think he is smarter fighter, but I think odds should be more even than they are currently. Maybe winner is going to try once again to face Usyk.

Is AJ even recovered from his crash is the most obvious question. Both physically and emotionally losing his friends, people can lose easily for lesser reasons. I would adjust my estimate unless or until you see proof opposite, money is no motivation at all when your heart is not in it any more. If its just an arranged fight then the contract is most relevant and we dont even get to see that I suppose, so its all inference how hard they will fight exactly or for what true reasons.

Physically, maybe yes, but emotionally, that’s what we’re about to find out. Losing a friend is really painful, and sometimes that kind of thing stays with you for years. So if that angle is something big to consider, then I guess betting against him could be the right move here. But since he’s the underdog, we still have to analyze it carefully whether it’s better to take the moneyline odds or just go with round ranges, maybe something like Fury to win in under 6 rounds.

This might be a very good fight, however, to declare that this is still long awaited is very much a mistake, I reckon.
These boxers is certainly creating this fight only to gather money from their fans while they can still trick them hehehe. If more years has passed by, they can only gather less money.
Of course, this fight is worth it as the world awaits two champions in the history of boxing sports to challenge each other to a fight again. We all know as fighters they are, they are entertainers and also sportsmen, so there is nothing new about the money they gather. After all, they entertain a million and one people who buy their fight ticket to watch them perform on stage. So if you say they are gathering money from their fans, I would not argue with you in that regard because they are performing and entertaining their fans, so it requires a financial commitment for them to put on the sports. This is a headshaking reply. They also both are not champions and they also have not fought each other before. It's unfortunate that it's not a title fight; then again, it's still a very interesting fight as the title's greatest British heavyweight is on the line. Fury is very eager and ready, but Joshua needs to impress by beating Prenga so people will believe that he is really back and ready to face Fury. Who is your predicted winner to become the unofficial British heavyweight champion? I reckon that the winner for this will be Joshua. I am not certain, however, I reckon we might witness the fattest and laziest Tyson Fury in the ring heheheh. He might only be in this fight for money.

I think AJ will struggle to fight against Fury. I remember how quick and creative Fury is. So i think it goes 60/40 for him and AJ. I don't underrate AJ, but he has lost four from his 10 fights in the last seven years. Many of AJ opponents are questionable in term of quality such as Jake Paul. It gets worsen with AJ's incident that was hitting his mental so hard. I think Fury has a slightly higher chance to win. Fury is gonna win this by decision.

Yes, even if this is not a title fight, for sure fans are going to buy this ticket as the title of the title of the greatest British heavyweight is still on the one. It appears that both of them needed this fight before any of them retire in the boxing for goth. There was a time that all 3, the Bronze Bomber, Wilder dominated the heavyweight boxing scene. But it was only Fury and Wilder has the chance to meet in the ring. It might have been good in the history of boxing if all three of this boxers have fought during their prime. However, this fight could still be the best that we can get even if they are way past their best years in boxing.

If the fight took place a few years earlier then it would be the main event for everyone as both were in their prime, but now it will be who will be the best Heavyweight outside their prime. None of these boxers will be interested in tarnishing their records in their prime and you cannot expect interesting bouts like that in boxing, you will see these contests outside their prime days and I can list a few examples in the past decade and that is what the fans will be watching.

And Fury is known how to play mind games, so most likely he will do it with AJ in every way possible. Fury used it against Usyk, but it's not very effective as Usyk is really immune to that kind of tactics. But with AJ, since he is coming from a mental tear, who knows, I do hope that Fury might not used that accident to try to attack and use psyche against AJ as his main weapon pre-fight because it could be out of the line, in my opinion.

Both of them are former world champions and have held multiple major belts. Fury has held the WBC title and also the Unified Champion, while Joshua also held the Unified IBF, WBO, and WBA twice, which got them recognised as world champions. The aspect of the fighting was a typo, they had not really had any fight before, and this forthcoming fight is their first match and the first in history.

I agree with Tyson being the favourite. He only ever lost to Usyk, but AJ also suffered two defeats from the Ukrainian champion. Some can point out to the fact that Tyson had a really hard time fighting Francis Ngannou (i.e. got knocked down and won by a controversial decision), while AJ manhandled Francis with ease. While this is true, it cannot be used as a reliable predictor of the outcome of the direct fight of AJ/Fury. Tyson always appeared to me as a bit of a lazy fighter, who only does as much as is needed to win. i.e. he's not aiming for quick finishes, he gets sloppy, sometimes pays the price and gets knocked down (e.g. Ngannou or Wilder fights) but always bounces back and does enough to get a win.

There doesn't seem to be much information about the fight purse. Perhaps it's a little too soon as the exact date and venue are yet to be confirmed, but then again, there must've been some amount stated in the contract they signed. The only information I found on that (I wasn't searching very hard though) is from a local Manchester news outlet that says it will be the biggest payday for each of them: The Battle of Britain purse: The upcoming fight is expected to be the largest payday in either fighter's career, boosting their respective net worths close to £150m ($200m). The deal was finally pushed over the line after Fury called Joshua out ringside following the Makhmudov fight. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-tyson-fury-fight-33845756Since the estimated net worth of Fury is £118M and Joshua is £111M(according to the article), so the possible pay they'll get on this fight is around £30M. To be honest, I was expecting more, but then again, it might still increase, and besides, that amount of pay in a single fight is still huge.

The taxes will be huge, they'll get half that amount if they earn and are taxed in UK. Still a good payday and maybe there is some method their management company receives the gains and distributes it over many years to them. Unless either one is planning on becoming a Bond villain they don't needs 30 or 15m all in one go likely.

@STT. Is the venue for this fight confirmed already? Also, is the Arab billionaire master Turki also promoting this fight? If the venue is not yet confirmed, I speculate that they can transfer this fight in the United Arab Emirates if it is safe to do this already. I think AJ will struggle to fight against Fury. I speculate that it will be Tyson Fury who will struggle because he will be overweight heehehehhe.

No intention to disrespect your opinion mate, but have you seen Fury's last match against Makhmudov just three weeks ago? Fury was mobile, fit, and threw a lot of combinations, and Makhmudov is still a top-level fighter in the heavyweight division. A big concern here is Joshua; we need to see if he is already good and can put the ghost of that accident behind him, and, of course, his loss to Dubois. This will very much also make Anthony Joshua appear like he is Muhammad Ali heheheeh. I would also argue that if Dubois has fought the Mike Tyson Fury, it will be a more difficult fight for Fury hehehe. In any case, similar to you I am also very much excited for this! I speculate that they can transfer this fight in the United Arab Emirates I would not rely on a venue in that area due to ongoing hostilities and impediment to air traffic. Perhaps it would be ok, maybe even they agree a peace but maybe isnt a good plan to make for any profitable venture so I doubt they take that option when something more reliable less risky is possible elsewhere.

I agree. The situation is currently more tense than before the war began - none of the underlying causes has been eliminated, on the contrary, new circumstances, such as the naval blockade (from both sides), have emerged. Also as I understand it, internal contradictions between the Persian Gulf countries have increased to critical levels: the UAE even left OPEC. I am sure that it is impossible to plan anything major in this region in the near future, first, the whole situation needs to be resolved.

Right and from the title itself, it's the All-British fight so it's obvious that this fight should happen there. And with the tension still high in the Middle East then it might be very difficult to set this one up in the Gulf region. If we talk about weight, Fury has been like this in his career, carrying extra weight and in fights like against Wilder, he uses it to his advantage when he ties Wilder and then putting up all his weight. So I don't think that there is a problem with Fury's weight here.

I’d say this is a big fight, the kind of championship fight people have been waiting for, and it looks like it’s finally going to happen late in 2026. So I decided to check the betting odds, and I was surprised to see Fury as the favorite, while Joshua is sitting at around 2.5 odds. I’m not really sure yet if that’s accurate though since it still feels too early. Maybe once it’s already listed properly in the bookies, then we can say it’s really confirmed. for now, I can only see the odds in https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/fights/tyson-fury-v-anthony-joshua/winnerAnthony Joshua is a heavy weight boxer fully participating in boxing, and on the other side, Fury is also a well known boxer, but has reached his own retirement age. As for me, I still Anthony Joshua still has an edge over Fury. He is younger, and still full of strength, and despite the accident he had, he must have regained his full strength by now, and will fight to win this very match. As for odds, sometimes the bookies uses odd to confuse bettors, and as the match draw near, the clear picture of the match will begin to unveil it's self, and the odd will likely change or drop.
