Physically, maybe yes, but emotionally, that’s what we’re about to find out. Losing a friend is really painful, and sometimes that kind of thing stays with you for years. So if that angle is something big to consider, then I guess betting against him could be the right move here. But since he’s the underdog, we still have to analyze it carefully whether it’s better to take the moneyline odds or just go with round ranges, maybe something like Fury to win in under 6 rounds.

If the fight took place a few years earlier then it would be the main event for everyone as both were in their prime, but now it will be who will be the best Heavyweight outside their prime.

And Fury is known how to play mind games, so most likely he will do it with AJ in every way possible. Fury used it against Usyk, but it's not very effective as Usyk is really immune to that kind of tactics.

But with AJ, since he is coming from a mental tear, who knows, I do hope that Fury might not used that accident to try to attack and use psyche against AJ as his main weapon pre-fight because it could be out of the line, in my opinion.

I agree with Tyson being the favourite. He only ever lost to Usyk, but AJ also suffered two defeats from the Ukrainian champion.
Some can point out to the fact that Tyson had a really hard time fighting Francis Ngannou (i.e. got knocked down and won by a controversial decision), while AJ manhandled Francis with ease. While this is true, it cannot be used as a reliable predictor of the outcome of the direct fight of AJ/Fury.
Tyson always appeared to me as a bit of a lazy fighter, who only does as much as is needed to win. i.e. he's not aiming for quick finishes, he gets sloppy, sometimes pays the price and gets knocked down (e.g. Ngannou or Wilder fights) but always bounces back and does enough to get a win.

Since the estimated net worth of Fury is £118M and Joshua is £111M(according to the article), so the possible pay they'll get on this fight is around £30M. To be honest, I was expecting more, but then again, it might still increase, and besides, that amount of pay in a single fight is still huge.

I agree. The situation is currently more tense than before the war began - none of the underlying causes has been eliminated, on the contrary, new circumstances, such as the naval blockade (from both sides), have emerged. Also as I understand it, internal contradictions between the Persian Gulf countries have increased to critical levels: the UAE even left OPEC. I am sure that it is impossible to plan anything major in this region in the near future, first, the whole situation needs to be resolved.

Right and from the title itself, it's the All-British fight so it's obvious that this fight should happen there. And with the tension still high in the Middle East then it might be very difficult to set this one up in the Gulf region.

If we talk about weight, Fury has been like this in his career, carrying extra weight and in fights like against Wilder, he uses it to his advantage when he ties Wilder and then putting up all his weight. So I don't think that there is a problem with Fury's weight here.

I’d say this is a big fight, the kind of championship fight people have been waiting for, and it looks like it’s finally going to happen late in 2026.

So I decided to check the betting odds, and I was surprised to see Fury as the favorite, while Joshua is sitting at around 2.5 odds. I’m not really sure yet if that’s accurate though since it still feels too early. Maybe once it’s already listed properly in the bookies, then we can say it’s really confirmed.

Anthony Joshua is a heavy weight boxer fully participating in boxing, and on the other side, Fury is also a well known boxer, but has reached his own retirement age. As for me, I still Anthony Joshua still has an edge over Fury. He is younger, and still full of strength, and despite the accident he had, he must have regained his full strength by now, and will fight to win this very match.
As for odds, sometimes the bookies uses odd to confuse bettors, and as the match draw near, the clear picture of the match will begin to unveil it's self, and the odd will likely change or drop.
