Well, you're free to disagree with my position. It's not in my place to argue that you're wrong disagreeing with me on that too. However, don't be surprised that both of us could also be equally wrong too.

I cant also say that Usyk and AJ are close and have equal skill and caliber. But I would say so because they have two completely different fighting styles. The way I see AJ - he more relies on his punching power, he does not make long series of strikes. Usyk is different, he instead likes series of punches. I think without searching in youtube, you wont remember any fight where Usyk has won by knockout that was a single punch or combo of two. AJ has enough 1 punch knockout highlights.

Because he is more of a technical boxer than a brawler. He is also a shorter heavyweight, so he really needs to be smart inside the ring and avoid getting caught clean.

Maybe he is not as popular because of his style, but we cannot deny that he is an undisputed champion. 25 wins with 16 KOs is still a very good record. Usyk is the kind of boxer who can beat almost anyone in the heavyweight division. At this point, he may not have many real challenges left, so retirement might already be close.

The fact I believe that remains is that 2 boxers should not be considered to generally have equal skill, but they may have very similar high caliber as heavyweight boxers of their era (this dont only go for  Fury and Joshua. It also goes for the Klitschko brothers). Because when it comes to skills, one will definitely surpass the other, which could be due to natural instinct, gift, constant hard training, etc.

Joshua doesn’t have the same experience and technique as Usyk. And that’s exactly the problem. As I wrote earlier, Joshua is a good boxer, a classic athlete. But he’s nowhere near Usyk’s level!
We can say that because Usyk defeated him. If it were the other way round that AJ smashed him (even if it's by a narrow defeat), your comment would've favoured AJ. Like they say, every boxer has a plan going into the ring until they're punched in the mouth and it blurs. I remember how Wilder knocked Fury down in one of their fights in what seemed to be over for Fury who miraculously got up and went on to win that bout. If Wilder had won, people would also sing his praises.

AJ can beat Usyk, just like any boxer can equally beat AJ or any other boxer provided they're all in the same category and age bracket. For me, it takes a bit of distraction for a champ to lose. No one is infallible.

Here’s the key point: "If it were the other way around - if AJ had smashed him" - if the opposite had happened. First of all, it didn’t happen; second, Usyk crushed Fury twice in a row. And this was despite the fact that Fury had a clear advantage in size, weight, and power.
And I know Joshua very well - I’ve watched his fights. And it’s precisely based on this set of factors that I conclude: Joshua and Usyk are very different boxers. Most importantly, I’m not saying that Joshua is a weak boxer, that would be an outright lie or sheer nonsense. I’m saying that Usyk is in a class of his own. And that’s exactly why I’ve made my prediction in favor of Fury.

It's okay. Time shall tell.
