Lack of money can be one of the reasons why gamblers are getting addicted to gambling. We can not blame this people that may not have a good source of income for them to focus on there hustle so that they can forget about anything called addiction.
To tackle addiction you will have to face the problem and look for solutions that will not allow you to continue doing the same mistakes and try and look for ways of getting a solution that will free you from the problem.
Lack of money alone is not the only reason why gamblers get addicted, because I have seen people who has money and yet still struggling with gambling addiction, but rather what I think is the root problem is self control and contentment. Because until a gambler can have self control over his urge of wanting to satisfy his immediate gratification, and the urge of wanting to chase after loses even after playing for quite a long time and you noticed you have little or no chance of winning against the casino. So until each gambler is able to write them that thing that makes gambling irresistible for him, and makes a clear plan on how to resolve it, gambling addiction will still remain a major challenge in the gambling community.

Unfortunately this is the case for many gamblers just one big win is enough to feed the urge and they become obsessed, for them every single bet is a shot at a max win and even taht i still try to advise people I know, but knowing the game and the addiction behind it it’s so hard to break the cycle and gamble responsibly in cases like this, the best thing to do is step away completely for a while and as you said they need to accept that gambling isn't a source of income it’s just entertainment. If you win, great, if not you just passed a good time without risking capital you can't afford to lose
Any parlay that contains more than 10 matches, it's obvious that the person is greedy and wants to use their little staked amount to win a life-changing amount. I always look at parlay as an option we use when the budget is small but there are a lot of games which you pick interest in, but from the way it is generally treated, we all can see the obvious.

I feel the same way too I mean for someone who wants to use a very small amount to win big you definitely need a couple of games to achieve that but the truth is that the more the games the bigger the risk so why you are trying to be greedy you are also in some way in a place where you might probably not be able to get it right with your stake because your chances of winning is reduced when the games are more.

Sure the chances of winning a long stack is highly uncertain, because some of the games might not win dropping the odds and spoiling the entire game. It is very rear for some one to have need of money and decides to make the money from gambling. The high expectations might lead to the person allowing greed to talk over his or her decision to make proper selection of games that could win and get the desired results.

So until each gambler is able to write them that thing that makes gambling irresistible for him, and makes a clear plan on how to resolve it, gambling addiction will still remain a major challenge in the gambling community.
it should come to a point where, before people should be allowed to register in gambling platforms, they should be first of all undergo some survey which can be considered as a psychological test on how a person can emotionally react to things. Some people are not fit to gamble from the onset they are easily moved and controlled by the result they get from it. Not about how much they have or how much they take in the game is more about how they react to things in general.

I am also of the opinion that prior orientation about gambling is another thing most gamblers are lacking today. Majority of the gamblers out there did not really get orientation on how gambling works before they started it. Some just started it out of frustration in desperation to make profits, some do that while seeing it as a career or job to earn a living while some just do it for fun  so the approach varies and this is what builds players mindset towards why they gamble and they don't have a broader perspective about gambling as they never got the orientation before they ventured into it hence you see players easily get addicted and can not control their gambling urge because there was no foundation to guide them before they became gamblers.

Also, orientation can also give a gambler idea on how to plan their gambling lifestyle and schedule, teaching them to also have a budget for their gambling. Training them to stick to their gambling time and remain disciplined irrespective of whatever happened be it a winning or losing streak. Lastly, it also inform a gambler on how to play with funds they could afford to lose without going bankrupt or borrowing to gamble.

Self-control is one major thing someone must possess before going into gambling, if you research you'll see that most people who get addicted are the ones who fail to control their emotions and greed. Emotions in the sense that they don't accept lose and chase loses, greed in the sense that they're not satisfied with their reward and try to double it by using all of it to gamble again. Gambling is and has never been the problem but addiction and if people can avoid things that would lead to it, they'll enjoy the fun of it.

agree with this important point, what you said is true, if not, no rich person will be addicted although this is also rare but it is real, I think for people that already has money, for them it about making more money, when they lose in the process, some of them will want to win back thsoe losses and by doing so they might keep losing which will make not to stop unknowingly to them thar they are fully into gambling addiction.
One of the thing I noticed why gambling addiction will continue to persist is that many gamblers do not know when when to say they are done for the meantime and that is because of the false hope they give to themselves that they might recover if they keep playing.

I'm not sure regulators will require casino users to complete any surveys before registering. After all, even if someone handles losses calmly today, no one knows how they will behave in six months or a year. Plus, many people answer psychological tests the way they think they "should" rather than how things actually are.

The difference between a rich and a poor is that the rich person person have fund to continue to gamble, maybe they will get their funds back maybe the wont but a poor person risk to lose everything before getting back the losses and end up, with nothing
When you dont have money to gamble you wont gamble ( of course if u are a reasonable person and you wont sold your house or something like that) this is why it’s easier for a poor to fight the addiction then a rich person

Yes it is true that lack of funds also contribute to addiction but to me when it comes to gambling addiction, it doesn’t have to do with if you’re rich or poor. There are also rich people who don’t know how to set their limits when gambling, they are also about chasing their losses, they find it as something more fun to always do and on the long run get addicted.
