here is no need for someone aiming to accumulate 1 BTC to actively trade along with regular purchases, rather it will increase unnecessary risk. It is not that if you have time, interest and the ability to analyze the market, trading will increase your savings. Have you considered one thing? Someone may have sold Bitcoin and made a profit in dollars, but what will they do when they buy it at a higher price and get less Bitcoin than before? They may have a profit in their account, but their goal of accumulating Bitcoin has been postponed. If the price drops after selling again, they may be able to buy more, but in this case they have to take the pressure of estimating the price, which can be wrong in most cases. This risk is not the same as buying from regular income. If someone wants to invest and trade together, it is their personal decision, but before considering it as a quick way to the 1 BTC goal, many things need to be considered, such as whether the new risk is advancing the savings, or reducing the amount already acquired. However, I personally am not in favor of combining the two. The probability of profit in this is low, and rather, their investment plan and goals may be ruined.
You can use the DCA method for BTC or accumulate BTC however you like. What I'm saying about trading BTC is for those who want to do it; it's allowed, as long as you have proper risk management.

If your goal is to own BTC, that's a smart move, and you need to figure out how you want to get it, which method? In my case, I trade with money I'm willing to lose, whether it's BTC or any other asset, at any time.

If it's about acquiring more BTC, I use the DCA method and buy on dips and pullbacks, but I do it because it's my method, and I accept the risk. So far, it's worked for me, and if by chance the price of BTC increases significantly and reaches a new all-time high, I continue buying actively because that's the method I use.

If we consistently buy with a Budget of $50 per week, it seems like it will take us almost 32 years to reach 1 BTC. Is that too long to reach 1 BTC? Do we need to budget more Money to reach 1 btc in our portfolio?

Well, if we Buy with a budget of $500 per week, it might only take us 3.5 years to reach 1 BTC.
Your argument would have been correct if you had determined the value of 1 BTC. If you have a goal of accumulation $50 Bitcoin per week that is correct but your earnings can certainly increase in the future. And I am almost sure that the pace of your earnings will increase gradually. During this time you may receive additional bonus funds from which you can increase the amount of Bitcoin purchased. Instead of setting a target of 1 BTC, it would be logical for you to set a target of 4-10 years. It would be more logical to accumulate Bitcoin regularly during this fixed period because expecting 1 BTC in your portfolio can increase your financial pressure. You cannot take financial pressure if you are in long term Bitcoin accumulation.

using the whole of your discretionary during dip is not bad provided it is something you can afford to loss.
Just because the price has fallen, it is not a safe decision to give all your discretionary income to Bitcoin. In this case, there are more things to consider. Your discretionary income may include a part for creating an emergency fund, a part for your personal optional expenses. If you just see the dip and give all your discretionary income to Bitcoin but you do not have any safety fund, then later when you suddenly have medical, family, work or other emergency expenses, you may be forced to sell that Bitcoin again. Even if you have the advantage of buying at a low price, your plan may fall apart.

I think investors should consider their cash flow before doing interval fixed. I am not saying that buying a little more during a decline is bad, rather people can definitely buy more during a decline. But that is good only when the emergency fund, necessary expenses and regular accumulation plan are not destroyed. Saving Bitcoin is a long-term task, so it is not a good decision to weaken the entire plan by catching a one-day dip.

Very much agree on this, because what really matters with this is the amount they can consistently put in their investment.
Yes, if someone has limited income and it is not possible for them to invest a large amount of money, then it is better for them to buy regularly with that small amount. In my personal opinion, those who have less financial capacity, who are not good at managing their finances, should buy regularly from that small amount of money until a good source of income is created. If their goal is to accumulate 1 BTC, then they must find a way to increase their income. They should not rush to buy, but make a decision and invest $50 every week. Because until their income changes, they will not be able to invest a large amount even if they want to.
So instead of thinking about such thing, much better to change their habits and try to adjust on circumstances if there's changes in their income. Because they can put amount once they made huge income at certain times. So best focus on what they can accumulate, since this provably could give them much better results.

  • want to say one more thing

If they expect that they will increase their income and invest $500 every week, then it will be within their rational judgment. But putting pressure on themselves by trying to increase their income quickly is a kind of foolishness that can be risky for their physical and mental state. Therefore, it may be a good idea to try to increase their income by being patient along with investing small amounts.

Yes, if an investor can change his habits and if he makes up his mind to deposit 1 BTC in the first one to one and a half cycles, then he will definitely try to create an alternative source of income. But let's imagine an investor who is taking a loan to increase the amount of money invested and investing from it, then later his loan portfolio will be at risk and his regularity in investing will be hampered. So the easy way for an investor would be to invest regularly from a small income without worrying and maintain his investment discipline and focus on alternative sources of income. Only then will investment prove easy for him and beneficial in many ways to move forward.

OP that strategy is called DCA where anyone can invest a fixed amount to buy bitcoin on a regular basis without considering the market price. That's a good strategy where someone can grow their bitcoin gradually over time. Investment is undoubtedly a good habit and we should focus on building such investment habit. However everyone has different mentality, different financial limitations and so everyone can't follow the same investment plan. However I believe that bitcoin will grow more over time and so we should DCA according to our ability instead of worry about reaching 1BTC.

It depends on our money how much DCA we do each time because if we do DCA on the basis of $100 and add it even 2 times every month, it can take a long time. Because $100 is very far from one Bitcoin, but DCA helps to get 1 Bitcoin. To meet 1 Bitcoin, you will need to invest as much money as possible on each DCA and for this your income should also be high so that you can get Bitcoin as soon as possible. However, if it takes you 1 year, the price of Bitcoin will be higher than that, so you will have to invest more time. If you want to buy Bitcoin at once, it will not take much time, while if you want to collect Bitcoin little by little, it will be much more difficult for you without DCA.  Many people are accumulating Bitcoin in this way so that they can obtain Bitcoin with the help of DCA because many people want to obtain Bitcoin in this way.Because it is quite difficult for everyone to get the entire Bitcoin.

I mean, it's better than focusing on 1 BTC, you should first build a meaningful position according to your own financial capacity. People with limited income face real obstacles to reaching 1 BTC, so the priority should be to build a financial foundation first, then consistently buy bitcoin and hold it patiently because bitcoin is designed as a long term asset.
There's no doubt about it, the best option for someone with limited income is to create a (DCA) trading plan for Bitcoin. Basically, it involves applying the method with a lot of discipline and enthusiastic, active effort to achieve the best results.

One of the tricks is that while using the DCA method, if there's a correction, make the effort and buy, even if it's a small amount. In the end, it adds up significantly, and only in the long run will the path to obtaining Bitcoin be shortened. But discipline and the habit of using DCA are key.

I guess you mean to say a DCA holding plan for Bitcoin not DCA trading planning plan for Bitcoin  because you can't be trading and be talking about reaching 1 Bitcoin that will impossible ordinarily. Indeed, buying Bitcoin and holding requires discipline and enthusiasm generally without which your portfolio won't see growth and in slow and steady growing of your Bitcoin asset, DCA strategy becomes a healthy option.

Buying at once will not take time, which is only true if you already have enough money to buy 1 BTC. But if someone has a small amount of money to invest at once, they will only get a part of the Bitcoin. This means that you have to understand that buying at one time and buying a whole Bitcoin are not the same thing. The biggest thing is that it is not about buying a lot of Bitcoin quickly, but rather holding it in the long term after buying. Someone may have a goal of buying 1 BTC, but if they want to get it quickly and invest money that will be needed in a few months, then they are weakening their own financial situation. Because when the necessary expenses come, they may be forced to sell that Bitcoin. Even if the price drops at that time, they may face losses.

I think the numbers of years it will take for someone to be able to accumulate 1 bitcoin depends on the individual. As we know, people financial situation differs, and so the phase at which someone can be able to accumulate 1 bitcoin is tied to how much they are willing to put into bitcoin. It is good to invest in bitcoin using discretionary income, and not to be tempted or be persuaded into using money that is for our basic needs to accumulate bitcoin because we want to reach 1 btc. Our investment should always be flexible such that it reflects our financial situation.

If an investor has more to invest in Bitcoin that is above $50, that would be fine but what I will not advise is for an investor to use all the discretionary income and invest in Bitcoin without having an emergency fund or savings that is set aside for the dey season.

Investing in Bitcoin should not only be the focus, it is important to always maintain what you have to get more so that as you are holding Bitcoin and increasing your portfolio gradually, you are also building other businesses that will bring more money for you.
Having multiple is possible when you use your discretionary income very well while budgeting for Bitcoin accumulation and other businesses.

You just said if an investor uses more than $50 to invest in bitcoin that it would be fine but my question is, what interval are they suppose to be doing this that it would be fine like you said? so you should be very specific when saying things like this because newbie can see this and took it upon themselves to be accumulating $50 or more without knowing the interval and how their discretionary fund is, however, if this can be done every week or 2 weeks it will be very cool like you... but then again this should be done in regards to our discretionary. using the whole of your discretionary during dip is not bad provided it is something you can afford to loss.

He dosen't need to mention any specific interval there man because it would be so pointless and needless for people to be copying other people strategy all in the name of them trying to learn.

Person income is different from each other. Some person don't even see an income all through the month. Some persons income comes like in every two months while some get paid every day and some every month. How do you expect all this people to invest using a similar interval huh?

Imo, what matters is that a person have the common sense to figure the amount that they can afford to invest with and invest accordingly.

Look, the DCA method for BTC is sacred, it's untouchable. But if you want to trade, you can have money you can afford to lose and do some trading, risk it and start that adventure. It's up to you if you want to trade BTC or any other stock or currency. The idea is that the BTC money shouldn't be mixed with other funds.

In my case, I've been trading other stocks on a 1-minute timeframe, I've been trading futures, and obviously I still follow my DCA method for BTC, but for each of these things, the money is separate. If we mix them, we'll have chaos and we won't achieve anything.

Yes. The amount used for doing DCA really depends on each of our financial situations, and of course with a small capital like the example mentioned for each period, of course the process of accumulating 1 Bitcoin can take years, especially since the price of Bitcoin tends to go up over time. So our mindset now really needs to change not aiming to reach 1 BTC, but we have to keep doing DCA so that without realizing it someday we will reach the target.

Basically, the higher your income the faster and easier it is to allocate funds. And of course you still have to use money that is really ready to be invested, not money for daily needs. Because in investing in Btc flexibility is very much needed especially since everyone has different situations so there’s no exact number for how long it takes. The DCA strategy not only helps a lot of people who can't buy all at once but also allows you to accumulate gradually without much pressure. What really matters is consistency according to your ability not forcing yourself just to chase 1 Bitcoin as quickly as possible.

Goals have never been fixed in investment or saving because most are work just for investors' convenience. You just need to stick with the system because it's important for having relief and better results in many regions now. 1 bitcoin is a huge amount because people are living lives that are not allowing them to have enough savings or investments; just try to manage things as per your own earnings and expenses.

Having a share in Bitcoin is also helpful for people who need future income for an easy and better life because they are surely able to do it, which will help them for living without any hardship. It hardly even still needs more analysis or workout, but now things are going out of reach for many because they are surely suffering but still looking to have good savings for their life after retirement.

The DCA method can be beneficial for many, especially those who can reduce the pressure to buy every time they see the market fluctuations. Even in the case of savings, DCA can be quite effective for many, because here the person gets the opportunity to save gradually according to his ability. However, you should understand that when you call it “untouchable”, the method is actually being presented more strictly than necessary. Not everyone has the same amount of income, expenses and discretionary income, so the buying pattern does not have to be the same for everyone.

Someone may have a plan to buy only through the DCA method, while someone else can use a part of the bonus, gift or unexpected money he received to buy at once. Even if someone wants to spread the extra money to buy in several installments, that is also the decision of the person himself. None of these options are such that they cancel the regular buying plan, rather the person decides the use of money according to his ability and priorities.

I understand; of course anything can happen and we might not always follow the method strictly. When I said "untouchable," I meant that we must have the discipline for it it's a goal we should strive to achieve. Naturally, we are human beings who may need to adjust for emergencies at any moment, and we must do so. But if we don't have the funds right at that time, we can make an effort later to make up for what we couldn't contribute during our regular DCA schedule, ensuring we stay on track.

We shouldn't rush; we set our own rules. Sometimes buying, even a small amount, during market dips and pullbacks gives us the chance to accumulate cheaper, provided we have the extra funds to make that effort.
