The question remains, who’s going to buy a World Cup ticket at this price range? Funny enough people are out there purchasing the ticket while many are complaining and calling FIFA out. If only they knew about this earlier and it turns out FIFA can’t help in such situation, I just found out about the price definitely why will I want to bother about the cost of a World Cup ticket not until now and it’s really surprising viewing the high cost of just one ticket, personally I will not advise anyone to pay for such rather use the money for other important things that will yield profit.

It's probably a joke, like you said, because there is no way someone will be stupid enough to buy a $11.5M ticket for a single game. If the owner of that ticket actually wants to sell that ticket, they'd list it at a much more reasonable price for a resale ticket, at least(which is higher than the price at which it was initially sold).

Well, it seems the price is a joke but this event aint an exclusive for the top million or billionaires in the word reason for spending a 11.5$M in just watching a World cup and of course possible they did not cater all of the seat on the event. If you are in business and if you think there is a demand right there it's up to you if you wanted to put a high end people right there only few can afford but if you wanted the popularity and catches the wants of the community lowering the price into affordable is the best.

There are people who would not pay even $1 for one ticket because doing so would mean trading that ticket for a plate of food.... conversely, there are people who do not know what to do with your money and would certainly pay $11.5 million if it afforded them sufficient "status" or any other advantage within the society.

Anyway its a well known factor that "experiences" are "expensive". If you have ever been in a football match of a certain level, only the buffet for VIP offered could be easily a 500 euro buffet with all alcohol and expensive food included free on the price. If you had some valet, merchandinsing, special place, signatures of players, collectibels, maybe a couple of days in a superb suite etc yes the price could reach even these crazy sums.
but there is also another advantage for the buyer... he get free promotion, connections and so on... I would say that even if seem expensive there is always a reason (and someone) that could afford a specific price - at the end the have to sell few tickets and not a full stadium

It's not about billionaires, it's about ordinary fans that wanted to watch and support their national squad. I doubt that billionaires are going to be interested to watch, they value their time more than any other individuals that's why they are super rich.

So the answer here for the majority of us is no, that price is too expensive for us. There are limits are far as our budget goes, and we are not that crazy to buy that kind of tickets that obviously have been multiplied many times from it's original price.

With that outrageous amount, it only means that it's only a selected set of people that can get access to watch the world cup because with the way the economy isn't doing well to start with, you can't set such an amount and expect that people will easily pay for it even if they want to.

There is only one solution for this though, no one should buy the ticket, when the day is nearer they will be forced to cut down the price, but crazy rich people around the world wouldn't care, they will still buy it because they have access to too much money whereas people are sleeping on the streets with no roof over their heads.

It's not until you kill people that makes you evil, having too much money only to your name and not helping as much people as you can is evil, imagine, $11m for a single ticket, is the ticket made in Gold that after the world cup is over you will be able to sell it for some money? With $1M I won't be working hard anymore but some people are paying $11M for a football ticket.

Basically I couldn't buy it for even $5000 and actually wouldn't spend even $1000 on a World Cup ticket, as much as I like football it's an outsized amount, let alone spending all that money on a ticket.

The price is seriously unrealistic, why will someone even think that this can be possible,  that amount can get u a private jet, or even a yacht, so it's a ridiculous amount IMO, and no way on earth am I paying such amount (even if I have it) for a world cup ticket.

That ticket would have to be on the pitch meeting the players to be worth that amount.   I would say for the right game for the right team maybe one that hasnt qualified in fifty years then the price might be correct on a very rich persons budget.  Never under estimate the price people will pay for something they love and some are soccer mad in this world, USA wouldnt understand but its as big as NFL for sure and only occurs every 4 years.

This is ticket scalping which is abominable way to abuse a hype product. An organizer should step in to make sure that the ticket price will be always an srp.

I don’t know how FIFA ticketing system works but they are willing to let this price manipulation on tickets continues because they are benefiting on it through the commission.

This is unfair for those real fans that want to support their favorite team even with limited funds.

You said it already. The price is obviously a joke and such things are completely normal because for every trade, there has to be a willing buyer for every seller at an agreeable price. There is near 100% chance that no one will buy it unless the person is a billionaire and billionaires don't spend lavishly like that because they know the value of money and take care about spending. If I had $12m+ I won't buy because it's not worth it. There would always be more world cups to come.

This might be another social media stunt and shouldn't be taken seriously. The official value for the most expensive ticket for the World Cup is close to $11,000. There is information that some businesses are reselling the ticket for as high as $2,000,000. I have not seen any reports that the ticket would be sold as high as $11,000,000. Billionaires are financially prudent individuals. They spend money on things that would bring more profit, cut their task or give them political connections. So I doubt if any of them would splash such an amount on a football match ticket. Even if I am a very rich, I wouldn't try such shit. There are many humanitarian works to do with such an amount.

Do you agree with that there are people that is buoyant enough that can even spend more than $11.5million to buy the FIFA world cup tickets, not because it is a fix price but just decide pay support, not to suppress or impress anyone in the stadium, but just decide to do so because of the love that have in watching football live or on the second thought, they might decide to play such amount of money to be in comfortable zone that is well secured, but if for any reason the ticket will never be above such level and still it will be open for everyone below their own income capacity, because the sweetness of any football games is to the fans surrounded in the stadium to elevate their players to win, and if you can recall during the cold-V19 were players will be run a series of tests just to make that are cold-V19 free and how the stadium look so scanty, so for me, the FIFA world cup tickets can never increase to that amount of money. Don't be surprised that some will definitely buy it regardless of the cost, is world cup we are talking about and there are many people coming from across the world all because of this occasion to witness it and they can afford to pay any amount to watch live and direct, since they already assume that there is no price cap for it, they are using it to stylishly make money from those that will be paying on aware all because they want to enjoy the match.

I wouldn’t buy the World Cup ticket for that outrageous amount, reason being that I don’t have that amount of money. But I won’t conclude that nobody will buy the ticket at such an amount because there are people that have money that can afford to buy the ticket and it won’t be felt in their bank account.  But on a serious note, that amount is very high, if the tickets are actually sold at the amount, there will be empty seats in the stadiums.

This has be a fake news and to add to what you said I think that even a lot of people that can afford would not want to spend such an amount of money on a ticket because it does not actually make any sense. $11.5 million is a lot of money even for people that are rich. When we call such figures we don't really know how large the physical money is and besides the source of the information doesn't seem authentic.
