Even with those coins dumped, strong community can get the coin up from ashes.

And regarding mentioned things, I admit, that here is lack of transparency. But I hope everything's turn to good.

Let's wait Adriano from his rest, maybe he can help with implementation of hard code. I don't know if he is familiar not only with web development coding.

No disrespect to Adriano, but his suggestion is already tried and failed.
Read more about, how/why this fix was failed for another coin here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436750.0

The dev can take a backup and later import it into another brand new wallet which would allow you to transfer these coins again bypassing the lock restrictions..
or according to the eTok devs, there is a way to get rid of the lock.
The dev is actually taking the community for a ride here and you guys are just following it.

The dev wanted someone from the community to fix this so that he thinks everyone will fall for it.
Prepare for the big dump guys.

I am sorry to see this coin die this way, because of a greedy dev, after offering so much potential.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

DAMN IT,DEV steal 196 mil coins,i sell it all,liar.

We should give the author more trust, and the lost coin address is public, the community should need to trust each and unity

+1

Trust it, or walk. (Trust some shitcoin instead ?).

I would like to hear some more background on the lost coins.

When the distribution is finished, the top of the thread will need rewriting.

Dear community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a conseuquence many files were lost in which it has one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others).

This is the wallet:
http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H

We are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely appologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined. So total available coins will be 800 mils instead of 1000 mils for COMM. This is a good thing in a sense, that it will enhance our existing coin value. We publish the wallet so that everyone can see that this amount (196780608.602771 COMMs) will be dead in that wallet, that no one has access to them. These coins will never be circulated in the market.

With the coin reserves left, we will distribute 2nd round distribution, as promised.

As a community, we are going strong, and with about 800 mil coins in circulation, we will have a better value of our coin!

So delivery will be done according to same route and whats left put bounty budged.

Are you kidding?
And you expect us to believe this shit?
I'm sure you still have access to these coins and you are going to dump when price is high enough.
What a joke!
You are turning a great project into another scamcoin TY.

I don't understand why it lost, can not imagine you don't have any flash disk,or you steal it,we need an honest answer.

Hi OP/Dev/Community,

To play my part, I've made a dice site here: http://commdice.supercrypt.co/. I have also made dice sites for HASH, COIN, AIDEN and CaiShen previously.

Unfortunately I was not selected for both round 1s and round 2 (so far) and so do not have any bankroll of COMM to begin with.

If someone can send some over to the address in my signature I'd use most of it for the COMM Dice site.

Best regards,
Shuxy

No problem Dev, no worry, thankyou for letting us know. 800 mil coins even better! I never sell a coin, I wait for 50000 satoshi. Not got second round yet but happy to wait.
We plan to destroy coin anyway to reduce cap so this is not a problem at all for me. On and up!

So how often is this mutipool going to pay out?

Hi, I'm not sure yet... I was thinking about once in a week, probably on weekends... but that depends on the volume we reach, I don't want to hold more funds than I'm required to.

It is too soon yet to have an idea about the flow which will be generated, but we didn't receive any payouts in BTC yet. I wish we had so we could take advantage of this dump some people are doing.

once the lost coins issue is sorted out we'll see this puppy fly!!! I was there from the beginning with FAC and trusted and waited through their lost coin also. Perhaps contact their dev and offer them some coin to help fix the problem?

It seems faircoin has a problem right now that low level miners drop out of their multipool cause the pool only cashout if you mined a minimum of 0.01 btc.

Is there a way to avoid that with our multipool?

I think in two possible solutions right now, but they are far from being ideal:

1. Develop the entire multipool backend (mining pool and trade engine). But this would require massive development and it would require investments to avoid DDoS attacks.

2. Aggregate somehow all the miner under the same account instead of one for each person... This would solve this issue, but the fairness in the distribution would suffer since we couldn't be sure how much was the individual contribution.

I'm still thinking about it and as soon as I got a better solution I will present it to you guys.

That would be cool something like bc multipool (with a little more transparency...), I have a small usb asic not doing anything useful...
But I think, first, we need to make the first one successful
