AboutQora is a new 2nd generation cryptocurrency designed from the ground up to solve Bitcoin’s biggest problems while also adding new promising features.Qora is being built from scratch and will not rely on any other crypto-currency.Qora uses a new proof-of-stake algorithm making it future-proof.Qora is being developed in Java and relies on native C libraries to perform the most CPU intensive tasks.Qora relied on an IPO for initial distribution of the supply. The total amount of Qora in existence is 10'000'000'000 (10 Billion). One Qora has 8 digits after the decimal point.DownloadMake sure you download the latest version currently v18. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=522102.msg9107198#msg9107198BountiesThe unofficial bounties can be found below. A Proof-of-Stake algorithm that is different from anything that is described here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake. The algorithm will allow accounts to start generating blocks after only 10 confirmations. Each account will also know at exactly which point they will generate the next block.

Do not send BTC. Good day.
+1. Obvious scam is obvious. Lots of talk of development, but absolutely nothing to show for it. The best you'll get is some questionable screenshots. Be prepared to lose your BTC if you invest.

screenshots
Screenshots prove nothing. Many an IPO scam has had screenshots. The bare minimum for any IPO should be a well known escrow service provider to hold the BTC. This is a bare minimum, and any IPO that refuses should be immediately questioned.

We do not have any problem to use an escrow service for the IPO.
For us there are no trusted bitcoin escrow services so that is a problem. Please tell us which escrow service you would like to use.
Please note that there will be a public beta before the IPO ends so you can always wait.
Currently we are working on the GUI I will show more details about the GUI soon.

How about the escrow? That would go a long way towards proving your legitimacy.
I advise no one to invest until escrow has been established.

This is a completely new source that is not a fork of any other crypto-currency. Although there are some similarities in the features the implementation will be different. I haven't followed nxt that much but as far as I understand the development was paid and will stop in a week?
