Is it necessary to upgrade to v1.3 or can we leave it at v1.2? Will there be a loss of coins or something?

It's not mandatory, but I highly suggest to update, as there are some security flaws in openSSL implementation. Please backup your wallet.dat prior to run a new version of wallet-qt

Let's get some ideas rolling to raise the awareness of CommunityCoin!

A good start is to contact blogs and article websites to write an article about CommunityCoin.

I will contact CryptoArticles.com to write a piece about this great community.

I encourage you to do the same by contacting various websites that write about cryptocurrencies.

https://twitter.com/CryptoSteam/status/455384293301157888

And everyone here retweet it to get more attention!

The upgrade fixed a bug that was found in all cryptocoin wallets (including bitcoin). Hackers can use the bug to steal your coins. It's a good idea to upgrade.

As I promised yesterday, I would like to start to list the things that should be done in favour of COMM growth.

There is idea by Adriano to build a separate page for to-do information: listed items, involved people, donation addresses, donators etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Multipool- the most wanted thing at the moment. Adriano said, he is working on multipool project and first results can show up shortly @Monday 14th April

Many thanks to Adriano for hard work and enthusiasm. So far members pledged 477 000+ COMM for Multipool set up. Everyone is welcomed to join the pledges list.
Also thanks to xtester for maintaining multipool's pledges list.

2. Website design and management.

3. Subreddit page design work. Now it has default template design. illiki23 offered his assistance for reddit page development.

4. Good quality youtube video for promotional purposes. coinking suggested to make a song by himself. Community must decide wether compose
it or not and what genre it should be.

5. Articles about Communitycoin.

6. Linux wallet.

7. Updated logo, if dev accepts it's change.

8. Not mandatory, but Android wallet could be a good point about coin. Also as promotional move.

9. OSX wallet. Released by instacash (link in OP). Please donate him to support the job done and future releases!

So far donators for OSX wallet:
    brightlight - 20 000
    rbbrdckybk - 5 000
    mamamia2014 - 3 000

----------------------------------------------------------------

As of now their donations offered users:

Jr.peng -
BitcoinBaBa - 10k

----------------------------------------------------------------

Please leave your feedback for what to add or remove from list. Also the donation/bounty amounts for each position should be determined by a community.

Don't forget to vote at Mintpal!

Please PM me if here is someone, who can undertake some of the listed duties or just make a post with suggestions.

I am collecting user pledges for donations for listed positions. Later it will be decided where to send your donations (single person or publicly monitored addresses).

I read in another topic that every comm member gets two million coins. Is that true? If yes, how can i get the other million?

You should be active and contribute to the community, dude  (at least more active than present).
Just wait can't help you get the left stake.

The coin has been holding pretty strong in value so far ... pleasantly surprised. It'll be really interesting if services start showing up for the coin, especially any marketplaces and such.

After round 1 finished, I suggest to make a blockexplorer, check all the 500 wallet address, kick off the address which has been transfer out, those who dumped on exchange or has more than one wallet and applied twice.

+ 10
Agree, there wasn't any reason to do it
