But I still feel this coin should be re-launched because of the 200m 'lost' coins. Relaunch it and then give away the coins fairly, once they have been distributed fairly then it may stand somewhat of a chance, right now it will die because of the lost coins.
No need to change the name. No need to change the website, or anything for that matter. Just bring up the coin in its original form (100% premine) and start again. It would be a more fair distribution now as a lot more people know about it, and most certainly extend the distribution to a lot more than 500. Find how many active members of the community exist, get the total number of coins and divide it by #members.
So who is with me on the re-launch? or are we going to promote a coin that could potentially see a huge dump in the future when the dev sell that 20% in one day? He may have genuinely lost them, by why take that risk when it's so easy to launch a new coin? As I said, the coin already exists, it just can be reset, the website already exists, just update the wallet to the new one, the community already exists...

Well... This was said many times, but needed to repeat!
Subreddit page must be designed! It is more important than website.
Someone with good CSS skills? Also what should we do to access subreddit editing? I am not familiar with reddit. Send message to moderators?
Also we have yet good graphics made by mymenace (updated logo and brand new banner) and most of all I like communitycoin1 twitter accound top image. I don't know which user made it, but we still need acceptance to use it.
So, designing is less needed than CSS work with colours, fonts, etc.
Also wanted to point to donate for graphics made.
Just for to remind comm on guys, we'll pay for that Can someone to work in these projects?

Forming a SWARM team devoted to the promotion of COMM. Members who are willing to comment or upvote articles, posts, videos, etc. in order to promote COMM should apply. I know much of this is already being done, but this will allow us to become more organized in the future. All interested, please send me a PM with your email address. I will keep a listing active on this thread, so that we can see the size and growth of the mailing list.
This is just an initial compilation, since we are still in the very early stages. Let's form the team now, so that we'll have it ready when the need comes!!!
I only have a few addresses so far. Everyone who is supporting this coin should be signing up. Swarm me!

relaunch??? not a good idea i think, how about those who buy the coins in the exchange? the coins is doing fine, we will just monitor the lost coins as much as we can.

love the metallic logo and banner. great job +1 i really like this. point 2, not happy with the multipool yet. Should be automated. Not Adriano manually buying coins, thats ridiculous. I dont receive my coins from mining on that pool and i wont mine it until its out of "beta" to "alpha" I can simply mine on multipool.us and then buy some comm with the proceeds, or I can point my miner wafflepool and do it. Adriano, good try, but not great! Does Poloniex or Allcrypt have any api? If so then whoever built multipool will be able to programm automatic buy system then. Poloniex has an API. I'm unsure about allcrypt, I don't use it.

It's like monitoring a tank saying "don't worry, i'll stop it if it fires". What will you do if he decides to dump all his coins on all exchanges within the space of an hour? Nothing. There is nothing anyone can do then except watch their own coin value disappear into nothingness and watch the dev become rich.

COMM exist as it is, and it will live or die as it is. The 'lost' coins may even turn out to be a positive in the long term.... It is not possible to predict chaotic effects. Anyone who wants a relaunch is free to do it, but it will be a different coin. I have invested in over 50 different alts over the last year or so, and I can tell you that the most controversial ones (with the biggest problems and the most hate) often did best. Therefore let time tell. COMM has the right stuff IMO.

The most important thing is to let evolution occur , accidents and all. Those who try to put everything in a box, and think they can predict future effects are usually proven wrong.

Dear Community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a consequence many files were lost including one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others). This is the wallet: http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3HWe are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely apologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined. Haha, loled very hard. And there are people who believe this. Nice. We all know this. It's not your concern. It's not matter of belief. We have nothing to lose. We got free coins, you did not. You missed the boat. Go buy it or shut up.

I notice that your plan involves re-doing the giveaway and not just distributing them back to the same people. Don't try and act all noble when actually what you're doing is trying to fuck over anyone who as already bought these coins on an exchange just so you can make up for missing the boat.
