Last several hours I've been making promo giveaways from my wallet. Since I started it my wallet didn't mint anything. Is it due to I was sending coins for giveaways?
Any transsaction out causes pause in minting?

In a way, yes, but not really a problem. Minting is just a probability issue.. it needs some CPU processing power to compete against other computers on the network. So when you are using your CPU for other things, the minting slows down. It catches up again later.

Where I can read some more in depth details about how it works?

I have been reading about these new black coin cards here.

To accept payment in black coins, a shop needs to get a Coinkite Point of Sale device.

In order to get added to Coinkite black coin had to comply with an ISO 3 letter ticker symbol.They chose to use BLK as addition to the current BC.

If COMM gets a similar plastic card to black coin it will need an alternative 3 letter ticker symbol. Has anyone taken COM yet?
