If you were given opportunity to invest which would you go for?

I will stick to bitcoin first. Despite of its current price volatility, I know in just five years, bitcoin's price will surely make a difference.

Now with undeveloped landed properties, with lower initial purchase prices, most likely the future profits would not be as big as bitcoin. I am talking the 5 years target here, unlike with bitcoin where the current price could be tripled or quadruple, or even higher than that. And with the future profits coming from bitcoin, we can now maximize investing in landed properties as well.

With what performance silver and gold has done in the few years it is unconfirmed what asset will do better than another in the future aside from we using historical performances of an asset to project what future outcome can be possible.

What constitute an interest to invest in any asset is knowledge, and I draw my context from those of Warren Buffet which is about investing in digital assets you have good knowledge of. Every investor has to invest more on what they think has worked more perfectly for them where they understand the value they are investing into.

In my opinion, real estate investments are more difficult to control... And if you don't control the asset, it's a bad investment. 🙋

We all remember the COVID-19 pandemic... At that time, many people were confined to their homes. Air travel between cities and continents was suspended. Therefore, if you had investments in real estate located in another country, you automatically lost control of those investments.

However, this was a temporary loss of control over the investment. But what if situations arise in the future where such a loss of control becomes permanent? This could result from new wars, economic sanctions, uncontrolled migration from poor to rich countries, or other social processes. Real estate could be destroyed by a missile during military operations. Unfortunately, we have seen similar events repeatedly recently.

Therefore, I believe that investing in Bitcoin is a better option than investing in real estate. Unfortunately, we live in a very unstable world.  And I don't expect it to become more stable in the next 25 years. I think the turbulence will only increase.🤷

However, of course, I would love to own property in the center of Vienna!

Investing in Bitcoin offers one advantage that other investments might not offer. This is the reason why in my opinion Bitcoin is for everyone unlike property.

Any investment that is going to help in the future is the best investment anyone who want to invest should go for, both investments are good because at the end you will earn a profit from them but for me i will go for bitcoin if i want to invest, the reason i will go for bitcoin is because i have already have more knowledge about and i understand it and also saw how many have succeed after holding for a long time, i dont know anything land and other investment that is why i will not even think about it.

Bitcoin is one the best investment in the world and if you believe in bitcoin and invest in it you are going to enjoy it at the end because without patient you can not hold for a long time, although other investment are also good but i think there is no any investment that is better than bitcoin at this point which make me think the other investments are not rated as bitcoin.

I definitely agree with this, simply stick to the investment you have the proper knowledge about this is an advice similar to when someone is building a business you stick to what you know not what everyone is doing.

I think many have actually been proposing this other assets like gold and silver and to be sincere they are great investments too and even good alternatives to bitcoin for any one looking to diversify their portfolio but does one actually have the basic knowledge to actually go for them? Or many are just jumping on them since everyone is proposing that they are great assets?

I think in investment there should be a line drawn between what you have knowledge about and can invest in with that which there is no knowledge about and this the line that saves one from financial mistakes.

There will be differences from time to time including the decline, that's the crypto world but yes Bitcoin is the one with the best chance because in my opinion Bitcoin can be very profitable, but it has high volatility and the risk of loss is proportional to the profit.
The benefits obtained depend on the strategy we use but on the other hand there is also the risk of price drops that can occur at any time.
I myself still do it consistently because I do this as a way to prepare for my own future.

When you buy a property at the early stage of construction and are confident in the developer, one that has been operating in the city for many years and has a proven track record of completing projects on time and without issues.

I like this approach to real estate investing because it allows you to achieve significant returns on your investment within just a few years. After that, it is often better to sell the property and reinvest the funds into other projects that are still in the early stages of construction.

Both investments have been proven to be profitable. It now scales down to what the investor wants. For someone who doesn't trust digital investments, he can purchase a good number of landed properties and after a couple of years, development will come to that land making it more valuable than what he bought it at. Bitcoin is quiet similar in terms of profits making. Just that it's on a digital scale. Another reason why people might go for lands instead of bitcoin would be the fact that land doesn't depreciate. No matter how long it takes for development to occur, it's value only goes up and not down. They might consider this and compare bitcoins volatile nature as a yastic not to invest. On the other hand landed properties are always on the rise, and rewards investors both on short term investment, and on long term investment. However, investing in bitcoin is more preferable to me, the reason is because, government policies, and decision can affected your landed property. Sometimes, their could also be dispute on a landed property, and if you are unlucky you can equally loose your land. Based on the way you have explained it, OP, and based on my little experience that I have gathered from some of my close people, I will say both land and digital currency are profitable investments.If someone invests in a good coin like Bitcoin, it is less risky, especially if they take the right steps, such as holding it for the long term. The same is applicable to land. When you invest in land and get the right property in an area where development is taking place, you can make a serious profit.So, it is left for each individual to choose the investment they trust most. However, as for me, I prefer investing in digital currency rather than investing in land. My main reason is that I want my investment to remain secret. If I invest in Bitcoin and do not tell anyone, nobody may know about it. But with land, I have to go through processes that involve my lawyer and other people, such as the landowners from whom I want to buy the property for investment. Because of that, there is no longer any secrecy in my investments.

Am actually a fan of bitcoin. Bitcoin has made tremendous growth, and has even made billionaires who invested with small amount amount of money. Bitcoin is a secured investment if only you understand how bitcoin investment works.
On the other side, purchasing landed property is also very lucrative, but in a place where there is high demand for landed properties, their is likelihood of people being scammed, and is also possible that natural disasters like flood, and hurricane can make you loose your landed properties so quickly, more especially in the areas that are succeptible to these natural disasters.
But as for bitcoin, if only you did not compromise with your seed or key phrase, your reward is very sure on the long run.

Real estate and bitcoin is not even up for the comparision because real estate is much more complicated and even if you are holding a land for 100 years the value may never appreciate because it is somewhere remote or there is no possible development happening there like almost a desert.

And even if the real estate value appreciate, the selling is a headache, you will have hard time finding a buyer at the time but bitcoin is just simple you buy then hold and then sell whenever you want at the current market price.

If you ask me, I would say one should invest in gold, not silver for the long term. Gold is the store of value for long term and it has proven this but silver is being pumped too much recently and i think it will go down in the mid term, however for Gold, I don't think it will lose its value much.

Personally, I would be heavily invested in bitcoin and the other assets that are safe to invest in are, of course, gold.

Property, gold, and Bitcoin can be excellent investments with a minimum timeframe of five years. Property investment is still a viable investment because prices tend to increase annually, and this increase in price will generate profits for investors.

If you do have enough money to invest and wait, then yeah you can do a lot of great investments. However, most people just aim to get rich as quickly as possible and that is where all the problems appear.

If you end up with big problems when you want to get rich quick, then it is your problems and if you do that, then you are going to get worse results. I personally try to be as long term as it can be, sometimes I fail and have to cash out due to life problems, but I try my best to be long term whenever I am capable of investing.

In the next five years is a very long term for bitcoin to have reached another ATH which if we go by the way the market is moving, you would have made at least x2 of what you’ve invested into. For landed properties, one cannot really tell on how valuable they can become because it’ll depend on the development of that region in the next five years. For most landed properties value to rise significantly, they take mostly a decade and more before one gets to benefit from it big. This is a very big investment also but I’ll go for bitcoin as first priority and then go for some landed properties which my Bitcoin holdings will fill in most of my investments. They are both great, but I will go for Bitcoin first before going for landed properties.

For the next five years, I will like to invest in Bitcoin because we never can tell what the future of Bitcoin can tell and if the price skyrocketed it is the same thing as you have missed your chance to invest early and you will buy it at a very high price. The same is applicable to landed properties, but I feel like I can still get property at an affordable rate if I sell my Bitcoin because it doesn’t have flat rate and it depends on location, and if you hold landed property without any backup plan and maybe you don’t have good papers, you can lose your property due to selfish interest of some people that feel that they have more money than you, therefore, it is better to buy Bitcoin and hold in your custody, then after making profit then you invest the profit in real estate.

Honestly it’s a difficult choice for me to pick between investing in bitcoin or the landed properties like the real estate. This is because Both investments have proven they are worthy of investing in and rewarding investors for patience and consistency. But if it’s for 5 years time frame I’ll rather invest in bitcoin but if it is for a longer time I will consider both investments have and invest in the two sectors.

You mentioned the issue of scam scandals in the real estate investment that’s absolutely true I’m am a living testimony of such i bought a particular landed property that was sold to another person as well, we both had our different papers I don’t know how those guys come up with convincing documents like that until when I was about developing the place I realised the issue and it’s happening to many people  out there also. A lot have lost so much from such kind of agent and maybe rhat why I’ll prefer bitcoin over the real estate. Though bitcoin also if your not careful you could be scammed too as well but if your not know how to secure your wallet you’ve got no worries at all because it’s “not your keys not your coin.”

Isn't the answer clear when in this forum and asking about it then bitcoin is the main option because most of the people who are here started from their interest in bitcoin.

But indeed the problem of investment depends on the beliefs of each person / investor because even though what we think is good does not mean that it will still be seen as good for others so that debates like this even though it looks quite commonplace but on the one hand this will actually only waste time because we are only trying to defend the beliefs and arguments that we believe in.

I personally for now very rarely debate investment instruments, especially in the environment I live in because in the end we cannot impose our will on others and vice versa.
I will still stick with the bitcoin investment that I do as for others it is up to how they do it because all have their own beliefs about the investments they believe in.
