You should know that gambling isn't something you just go after of just like that, it's somewhat of magnetic and glues the person who's kinda engaged excessively into it. I had a very good friend who stopped gambling work so he can get useful with his life. I think the environment exposes these guys a lot to unnecessary gambling risks and a lot of time wastage, so most at times they get tips from satisfied clients but only waste it gambling again, only few of them are actually saving money and getting useful, maybe only 4% of them

I don't know how you come up with 4%, but I would say it is 50/50. Some guys might be tempted to try it when they are keep exposed to gambling while others just see what others are doing and learn from it and don't even want to try at all. If someone is working in a casino then they should treat it as a profession not in the same way as a regular customer do.

It amaze me how most people who work in casinos offices get addicted to gambling. I have personal managed a gambling office before I decided to explore other things so I can confirm what you just said.

What surprise me the most is that, these  people were never into gambling, but one's they start working in casinos offices they become addicted to it. Let's say out of 100% of people working in gambling offices 50% are addicted to gambling. I am just speaking from experience even if I am not completely accurate.

I’ll never advise anyone who has interest in gambling to go work in a casino because the temptation would be much. I have a cousin who used to work in a casino, and he actively involved in gambling, and this has caused him a lot of problems as he mostly lands himself in serious debts most of the time. This made me stop giving him financial assistance whenever he comes to me for it because I know he’s either using it to gamble or pay up debt he incurred via gambling.
As one who’s interested or actively involved in gambling, the wisest thing to do is to try as much as possible to stay away from gambling, because he’ll be putting himself in a tough situation when he decides to go work in a casino.

So it's basically working the other way around. Instead of the workers observing how some of the gamblers are being idiotic and losing large amounts of money in gambling, they are observing the ones winning, which is obviously making them want to be in their place, so they get their pays, and instead of using it for something more important and useful, they go ahead and gamble with the money so that they can also be among the winners they see on a daily basis in the casino. It's a shame that they are only seeing the positive side while ignoring the whole negative aspect of it, and instead of learning from the mistakes of others, they are making the same mistakes themselves.

I can totally understand why you think why casino employees would be sick of gambling, because we know that someone who works in a chocolate factory won't ever have a craving for chocolate because they basically have access to it every single day, you can't deny the fact that workers do get the opportunity to eat what they are making because such things can't be counted or measured, it's not like they are packing PS5s or something.

Some people who do actually gamble one or twice in a week it could be that they don't have the time to be available constantly for it and they just manage out time out of their busy schedules to go and gamble as quick as they can. I believe what you said here can prove I am right that it is not all casino workers are big time into gambling themselves, but there is a higher chance that 70% of them will have a gambling problem due to dopamine that will be triggered when they are doing their job. I would be surprised if employees are not into gambling because why work in a casino anyways.
I have read that casino workers are not allowed to gamble in the casino where they work or while working. And I have also read that in some places they can gamble but it will not be a live bet.
This may differ from one casino or region to another.
I wonder if they gamble at other casinos or gamble online. I also wonder if this rule applies to online casino employees as well.

There was a time I was actively playing in physical shop, some of the agents play games of certain individuals that are very good and win often, so after placing their bets, they secretly repeat the same thing for themselves to win alongside those good players.

It could be that, or it could be your government recognizes than banning gambling services from your country would be pretty much useless and it would not help to curb gambling addiction as effectively as it sounds in theory.

Just because you don't see so many people addicted to gambling, it does not mean they do not exist or they do not represented an important percentage of the gambling population in your society.

Here in Venezuela, one does not see so many people who are addicted to gambling, because many of them appear to be normal and functional, but in reality gambling addiction is an actual problem among those who decide to spend their time in casinos, whether those are brick-and-mortar casinos or online services.

Oh man working at a casino and gambling a lot is risky business. Its convenient and the casino pays you there but they win it back through reward highs after long shifts from their own employees too. Is that double dipping from the casino’s end? Hehe

Now with licensed online casinos popping up and offering easy access to games that are very addicting such as slots the epidemic of gambling addiction is growing and on fact becomes worse by the day. It doesn't seem to be slowing down..casinos are allowed to advertise everywhere and also without restrictions about where they place ads. So more and more people are attracted to these schemes.

In the end it becomes obvious governments are not interested to limit addiction so long as it remains profitable. Sadly it's an epidemic that isn't well studied although very widespread. Any country that has legalized gambling faces it to some extent or the other.
