Turkey will play a friendly match against Venezuela. This will be their last friendly match.
Friendly matches before the group stage are good. Turkey played their first friendly match against North Macedonia, and now against Venezuela it will be similar to the Macedonia match. After that, the Group D matches will begin, with the first match being against Australia. The first match is important how we start determines the rest of the group stage.

Looking at the teams in Türkiye's group, I think it's quite a balanced group. USA will have home advantage as the host nation. I'm not sure if Australia can cause an upset but they seem to be the weakest link in the group. I think Paraguay, Turkey and USA are fairly evenly matched teams. If Turkey can take 3 points from their first match, they'll obviously gain an advantage but we Turks somehow prefer to make things difficult for ourselves. Hopefully we'll have a good tournament.

It was a tough match from the start and unfortunately Leao was provoked by Chile's hard play so in moments like this it is very difficult to control himself because from the start he was provoked by the tackles made by the Chilean players.

But he should have been more restrained because he is still one of the players whose popularity is increasing but I will not blame what he did but indeed regret why it happened.
On the one hand, Portugal performance in this match was still quite tactical for me although there are some things to be improved especially for ball flow and communication between players but they did a very good job in today's match.

Leao is a great player, there is no amount of red cards that can stop that. Saying that top clubs will no longer be interested because of that incident is simply not true. There have been countless number of incidents similar  to this one involving top players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Arjen Robben, Ibrahimovic, Suarez etc. And these players are still sought after by top clubs. So, saying this incident will ruin his reputation is not exactly true. This is football, these things are bound to happen. Keeping a cool head during crisis doesn't define a players worth.

I agree with you. Australia is not the weakest team in group D. But which of the remaining three teams can be considered the strongest? To me, these three seem to be equally strong. I do not  think USA is very  strong. But the team will have home advantage. So usa  will try their best to  qualify for the  next round. Paraguay is not very  strong either. But this team's defense  is very strong. I will be happy if paraguay and turkiye qualify for the knockout round from this  group.

I hope we have a smooth and enjoyable tournament. Our team showed a good performance in the Venezuela-Macedonia preparation matches. We seem ready for now, but of course, some things may change later. As Turkey, we are participating in the World Cup after 24 years, and in the 2002 World Cup, we finished third. I hope we can achieve similar success this time and reach the semi-finals.

Germany won 2-1 against the USA i honestly expected that Germany would win this match a lot easier and early. I didnt expect them to struggle so much because the USA team for me is really weak. But with how all main national teams are playing its normal because all big nationals teams are struggling a lot now,maybe testing out some tactics or teams. Portugal won aswell and they aswell struggled a lot so i think this is a normal thing in this friendlies

I don't think Germany struggled, not at all. USA made a good game but obviously they haven't been that dangerous aside of some shots outside the box. The 1 goal they made was also a pretty lucky volley which the player hit basically perfectly. 9 out of 10 times this goes into the sky, let's be real.
Anyway, team USA still showed a good effort. I was hoping Germany would win like 3:0 and in the first 10 minutes it certainly looked like that.
In the end, it's just a friendly match, 1 week before the start of the biggest tournament there is. Nobody would go 100% in this one, especially not Germany.

I fell asleep after Venezuela's first goal. I just woke up and the first thing I did was check the score; we won 2-1.
I watched the match highlights, but they were too short. So it must have been a boring match.
Barış's goal came from a very high-quality corner kick by Arda. The ball hit Barış and just like that, it went into the net.
Yunus's goal was in his own unique style. We finished our last warm-up match with a 2-1 victory.

It was a morale boost before the tournament, but the main issue is that, due to the shape of the world, Europe won't be able to comfortably watch more than half of these matches. Working people will have sleep problems.

After Havertz scored in the second half of the match, I also thought that Germany would win by a  bigger margin. But at  the end of the first half, the match was tied at 1-1 . I was very surprised by the performance of the usa  in the first half. This team performed quite well. In the first half , they were able to take 11  shots, while germany only took 4 shots. But in the second half, we saw complete domination by germany. The usa  players could not create any big  chances in the second half. Sane scored germany's second goal from Havertz's assist.

England is playing a very ugly football, well I believe that is just how they want to keep and continue playing which is a very terrible way of playing football, England seems to be playing like Arsenal, now I understand why Ronald Koeman said that when you look at the selection of players by Thomas Tuchel then you will understand how they wants to play, with throwings and corners and set pieces playing style of football, which we have know Arsenal to have been playing, without that style you will not see Arsenal winning the Premier League and I think Thomas Tuchel wants to buy into that style of football.

In the first goal we conceded, İrfan Can lost the ball between two defenders, and Venezuela scored on a counter-attack. Mendoza, who scored Venezuela's goal, is a young and talented player. It would be good if our country's teams kept an eye on him. Arda stood out in the goals we scored.

This match was a bit unexciting, but Turkey can put on some impressive performances in the World Cup. I think we will advance from the group. If we don't face teams like Spain, France, or Germany very early in the round, we can go to the later stages like we did in 2002.

Saying Germany struggled in that match is not out of place if the expectations are more than what later happened, especially with what happened right on the pitch if goals are not included; though a better word could have been used for the winner, after all, Germany's efforts were not put to waste. The truth is that the USA of old that were being ridiculed is not the same US now; they are improving, but conversely, the Germany of before is not the Germany of now, they are depreciating. This is evident in their past games, and people should take it easy in favouring the country in this world cup, particularly in betting. Had it been Germany didn't score in the very 2nd minute while the guard of the USA was down, they might find it difficult to win that match when the USA were now fully into the game.

I hope we have a smooth and enjoyable tournament. Our team showed a good performance in the Venezuela-Macedonia preparation matches. We seem ready for now, but of course, some things may change later. As Turkey, we are participating in the World Cup after 24 years, and in the 2002 World Cup, we finished third. I hope we can achieve similar success this time and reach the semi-finals.

I don’t really think that Turkey is good enough to get to that level that you’re expecting them to get to, I’m just going to assume that they probably come out from the group stages, depending on which teams they will be playing against in the group stages, but I don’t see Turkey getting to the semifinals of the tournament.

I don’t really think there have been any preparations for the Turkish National Team and I’m not really familiar with their game, but anyways I wish them well, but I’m not convinced of their playing style and the level of players they have available.

Portugal started the second half with substitutions, increased the pressure, and managed to win the match 2-1. I didn’t expect Portugal to struggle this much against Chile. I thought they’d score in the first half and pull ahead, but they seem like they’re not quite ready yet.

In friendly matches, no one wants to give 100% because doing so increases the risk of getting injured right before the tournament begins. Another reason is that every team wants to arrive at the World Cup in peak condition rather than wasting energy on exhibition games. Even so, friendly matches can still provide a good indication of a team's current form and level of chemistry. Because of that, we already have a general picture and understanding of what these teams look like heading into the tournament. Now all that's left is to wait for the World Cup to begin.

There could be many surprise results in this World Cup. Looking at the preparation matches, many big teams have had poor results. Of course, everyone wants to fully test their squad, so they aren't fielding their ideal players. However, I expect they will be more seriously prepared and have a better squad for the World Cup. Even so, Qatar shouldn't have gotten that draw.

I don’t know if you watch the match but if you did you won’t say managed, this is a game that they were just unlucky, they should have scored five goals or even more. From the very first minute of the game they were in control, they posses well and even created chances as well, Ronaldo got a Goal ruled out in the first half due to offside.

For me it was a good game for them, we have seen the blue print of what they want to do at the World Cup, it a good one from them and besides Chile is not an easy team to play against.

Goals from Guedes and Fernandes secured the win, but Chile pulled a goal back in the very last minute of the added time.

England won the match thanks to a goal scored in the first half against New Zealand. Given that England dominated the game, I would have expected them to score more goals in this match. After all, despite having such a strong squad in these World Cup warm-up matches, they should have capitalized on their opponent’s weakness and scored at least 3 or 4 goals. New Zealand isn’t a team strong enough to advance from their group—for them, just qualifying for the World Cup is an achievement in itself.

The final score was 2-1. But honestly, there was something different about Germany’s performance in this match compared to most other so-called friendly matches.
Regardless of how people view and judge the play of the USA and German national teams—whether they think it’s good or not—the way Nagelsmann tests his players is very different from other coaches.

Brazil, who also managed to beat Egypt, made substitutions as if they were replacing nearly 11 players, much like a lineup change in the second half. Actually, that’s not all that surprising either.
