in my opinion, Fenerbahçe's real issue is having too many ineffective domestic players... they urgently need to increase the quality of their local players.

10+4 rule is a major challenge for galatasaray. fenerbahçe has three under 23 players in their starting 11 who can also step in off the bench when needed without any drop in the team's performance.
But galatasaray lacks this. all of their under 23 players are substitutes and none are in the starting 11. whenever GS brings them onto the pitch, there's a significant drop in performance.

You may be right but there is also another perspective of this transfer. A player like that isn’t someone Beşiktaş should be signing in their current situation. They are a team in decline that hasn’t won the title for five years and has been stuck in fifth place year in, year out. This year, they absolutely must be chasing the title. What should they do? They should build a proper squad, signing young players who can perform well in every position, are hungry for the title and are physically fit. Spending all their money on Salah is like saying, ‘Let’s just carry on as we are this year too.’ They are not part of the psychological war between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe over signing big-name players; they need to rebuild first – Salah may not fit in this situation.

That's also a good thing to point out of course. Making your transfers in a sensible way is extra important for a team that haven't been fighting for the league title for years.

We don't know how Salah will perform at this age. Especially after watching his last season. That was the PL of course but we never know. 

Turkish teams like to sign big names without looking at their age I'm afraid. This doesn't always bring good results but we will see.

It's difficult to say this based on only one friendly match, of course. Trabzonspor didn't look ready in this friendly match, and this is just the result. Frankfurt is having a good pre-season. I thought Trabzonspor could be a strong opponent for them, but the German team easily dominated the game. Trabzonspor doesn't seem ready for the league in any way right now. Beşiktaş are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Mohamed Salah.
I think that's also the reason why they haven't announced any other signings yet.

sure, one game doesn't mean anything but in my opinion trabzonspor's overall squad and managerial quality is still lacking. their midfield, in particular, is far from sufficient.

I watched the game in parts and wasn’t very pleased at how poorly Galatasaray performed in front of goal and all round the match in regulation time. They didn’t play with all seriousness and their attacks wasn’t effective. I suppose that’s largely because it was a friendly game but, I did feel it was a game they can win and should win.

Venezia were definitely well prepared and created a lot of chances. Always finding ways to run behind the lines if Galatasaray and though their first goal wasn’t a typical running behind the lines, they tried a good 1-2 set up and opened the defense up for a run in and score.

That goal opened Galatasaray up and not quite long, they committed a penalty office which was converted and the 3rd goal brought the match to a close.

Beşiktas always delay when it comes to transfers market. I was surprised when they signed Trossard from Arsenal. The deal was done even before the World Cup final. I was happy when I daw the rumors that Beşiktas was going to sign Nunez, because is a good striker, and I don’t think he’s happy at his current club.

Salah is not longer in his prime, we don’t know how long he can manage to stay in his current form. Signing him a free player will not cost them anything, but they should not rely on him as the only player in that position.

It was just a preseason match, but I expect Trabzonspor to do well in that match. Onana has started his season with two goals in the friendly match. Trabzonspor failed to get a goal at home in a friendly game. They need to improve their performance, this may determine what they are going to play next season.

It doesn't matter if they concede 10 goals in a pre-season match. In fact it might even be better. That way, Okan will have a better idea of which players to send. What really matters is winning games in the league.
Being the transfer champion is easy, you just have to spend the money. But the hard part is being at the top by the end of May. Fenerbahçe spend millions of dollars every year but haven't won the championship in years. Let's see if they'll win the title again this year with Aziz Yıldırım's return. If Leao transfer goes through, they'll be much stronger.

If all this friendly wining that has happened against Galatasaray was because of how uncommon they see the match, what could we say about the first Galatasaray friendly match against Umraniyespor they generated 5 goals to 1?, the way they perform that day was always like there game style so I'm wondering how Galatasaray have been defeated twice after that first match by Monza 2:0 and today Venezia 3:0, but perhaps even if I'm sensing those losing to be as a result of how they might be poor in this season but I would be giving them the benefits of doubt considering they're still the Turkiye super league champion till it becomes more visible on there starting.
