I agree that Vlahovic is better than Nunez. I think Beşiktaş would make a more logical move by bringing him in. However, if Nunez were really good at finishing, he wouldn't have been sent away from Liverpool. If we're going to see him in Turkey, it's most likely due to a drop in form. The only exception recently has been Osimhen, who came to Turkey because of problems with Napoli, otherwise, he's a very effective striker. Nunez might be effective in Turkey, but with an option like Vlahovic, I don't think Nunez should be the priority.

Vlahovic is exactly the typical case of someone who wants too much and nothing tightens. He is a player who has quality, but who doesn't always know how to be dangerous in front of goal, as he demonstrated at Juventus. He thought about making the leap by going to another top club and in the end he finds himself having to go to a good club in Turkey, if he decides to go.

It's not even clear yet whether he'll come to Turkey. I've heard he's received many offers. If he comes to Turkey, there are many teams that want him, of course. Beşiktaş, in particular, wants to sign him. He's had a rather disappointing career with Juventus. It's time for him to make a leap forward, and perhaps Turkey could be the ideal place for that. Of course, the final decision will be Vlahovic's. There will certainly be teams from Germany, Italy, and Spain that want to sign him. The important thing is the player's decision.

I know that it takes a whole team to make a difference but I've got the feeling that the presence of Mohammed Salah will add a kind of confidence to the team. Last season Trabzonspor stood up to big teams and demanded respect from them and this season won't be different. If anything, I hope to see more of them especially as they were able to end last season on a high note, sitting third as a result of hit hard work. They could do better if they don't drop in their form and consistency.
I also think they can achieve even better results. While Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray currently seem to have better squads in the league, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor also have very strong rosters. Right now, we can talk about a league with exactly four big teams. This kind of competition has always been present in the past, and we will be watching the four big teams compete again this year. Derbies are becoming even more important. Teams that get more points than each other will gain an advantage in the championship race. Because right now, it seems like all four teams are capable of beating each other. Also, considering that all four teams are currently participating in European tournaments, it's a fact that the team with greater squad depth will have an advantage.

This wasn't going to happen because Beşiktaş had already walked away from the table nearly 2 weeks ago. His agent was looking for a better contract for Salah and Trabzonspor came to his rescue. Otherwise he would've been forced to sign for a much lower salary. The fact that no offers came in from the 5 major leagues was proof of just how high the player's salary expectations were.

Ertuğrul Doğan initially made negative statements, but now he's celebrating the completion of the transfer. They could've spent the money they earned more wisely, but they chose to use it for publicity. In my opinion sporting success is highly unlikely. The salary balance within the team has been severely disrupted.

yeah, it must be said that many players always aim to earn as much as possible. And this is also something that i personally will never understand.
You can't just think about the money, you need a little bit of attachment to the shirt, otherwise you just become a simple mercenary..

I agree that Vlahovic is better than Nunez. I think Beşiktaş would make a more logical move by bringing him in. The only exception recently has been Osimhen, who came to Turkey because of problems with Napoli, otherwise, he's a very effective striker. After his performance at Benfica, expectations were high for Nunez at Liverpool, but he had a poor season.
If he had shown something more, he would have stayed at Liverpool. Vlahoic could be a very good choice. Vlahoic is a player with better qualities, especially in terms of contributing regularly to goals. He's a classic striker who can challenge opposing defenses. With the right manager and game plan, he can do well.

Italiano, if he knows him personally, might be able to convince him to come to Beşiktaş. However, Beşiktaş will need to offer him a high salary. From what I can see, Beşiktaş currently lacks a good striker. I'm normally a Fenerbahçe fan and I don't want to see good players come to the rival team, but for the sake of improving the quality of the Turkish league, it would be good for us to have well-known players. That's why the Mohamed Salah transfer made me happy. I would be happy for Beşiktaş if Vlahovic came. I also read in a few places that Fenerbahçe is interested in Benfica's Greek striker Pavlidis. It would be a good transfer, but I think it would be too expensive for Fenerbahçe and therefore unnecessary.

It seems Trabzonspor is rounding up players who have played for Liverpool. Following the news about Salah, reports have now emerged that Trabzonspor has reached an agreement with Darwin Núñez and that the player is coming to Istanbul to sign.
The president must have asked Salah, "Should we get Núñez for the striker position?"
Trabzonspor is building a championship-winning squad for next season, but if the title doesn't materialize, how will these costs be covered?

Did Trabzonspor discover natural gas or a gold mine somewhere? How are they going to pay for all this?
Which companies have stepped in as sponsors? This doesn't seem like a normal situation to me. I just hope politics isn't involved.

i used to think Trabzonspor was being managed so well over the last 2 3 years, achieving great things on low budgets and i was even expecting another championship in the next 1 or 2 years while feeling sorry for Fenerbahçe. that was until the Salah transfer lol. i guess nothing has changed.  Cheesy

Transfer rumors surrounding Trabzonspor may have picked up speed now that Salah has been signed, but I think signing Nunez is nearly impossible, both on paper and in reality. Nunez is also a pretty risky move. We’ve never seen him maintain consistency at any point in his career. It’s as if there was always something missing with him.

I think Trabzonspor has already set the bar high enough with the Salah signing. This guy was playing for Liverpool in the Champions League last season. That’s a pretty good signing, and anything beyond that is, in my opinion, asking too much.

Even the Super League champion is awarded only €4.7m. This is like nothing for a champion. So I also don't understand how these teams can afford these players... You can add the revenues from shirt sales and so on also but still you can't get that high amounts.

But I saw some news lately related to this Salah transfer. It's said that TOGG and THY have sponsored it. Is this real? I just don't know what to say about this. I just hope one day we don't see some Turkish teams announcing their bankruptcy.

I think this season will be much more exciting than others; no single team is significantly stronger than the others, every team is above a certain level of capacity.
Also, the competition will be incredibly intense. Trabzonspor's star signing has the potential to add a lot of quality to the league, and if the quality of football in Türkiye improves, it will become a league that attracts more attention from European clubs Smiley

I haven't heard anything about that. If there were such a sponsorship deal, I think they would've started advertising it as soon as it was announced. Maybe they'll feature him in ads later on. I read the KAP file, it didn't provide any details about the sponsors. A net fee of €34 million will be paid over 2 years. It also stated that a share of jersey sales revenue would be provided. These are official documents, so we should base our assessment on them.

It was interesting that the mayor of Trabzon said he purchased 6661 jerseys. If he did this using taxpayer money from the municipal budget, that's not acceptable behavior. If an opposition-led municipality had done this, an arrest warrant would've been issued immediately.

Trabzonspor might continue making transfers, but I don't think they'll be able to pull off any high-profile signings after Salah. The names floating around in the media seem unfounded to me.

Offers are coming in for Osimhen, and if Osimhen leaves, Galatasaray will be nothing. He was the player who carried the team last season and helped them win the championship. Barış Alper is getting good offers, but they're not selling him, they're not buying any players, it's unclear what they're doing. There aren't any decent transfers the managers must think four championships are enough, I don't understand this at all.

I really like Osimhen, he is however a young player who can dare a lot and in my opinion he cannot best express his potential in the Turkish championship. He is a player who always chases the ball, he is a player who knows how to kick very well, very fast and knows how to keep his position very well. And already from the last Champions League we saw that he is one of the few who believes in it from the first to the last minute. He should find a team that's a little more in his league.

from my point of view Osimhen is annoying as a person and as a footballer. His hands, arms, mouth and expressions are constantly in motion not to mention his continuous diving... i think he wouldn't find this level of leeway and freedom anywhere else in the world.

Let's say Trabzonspor has allocated nearly all their profits from player sales for Salah. However I also don't think they can afford more expensive players at this point.

There are Vlahovic rumors but I don't think they can afford them both now. Besides Serdal Adalı has officially stated that they are working on Vlahovic deal currently.

Probably that's why he wanted to step down from the Salah deal later on. Tongue

Maybe they have money and have not been spending it recklessly, Trabzonspor is doing everything to make sure people regarded their team as one of the best in Turkish league, and they are ready to do that by signing top players from top leagues, if Trabzonspor can convince Salah to join them, they can also convince Nunez, because Salah and Nunez are former teammates from Liverpool who have a good relationship, and Nunez joining Trabzonspor is going to make the team attack look dangerous.

Trabzonspor won a trophy last season, which is one of the reasons why the team is motivated to sign top players that already played in top leagues, the club believes that if they have a good squad they will be able to win more trophies, Galatasaray and Fenerbache have been the only teams competing for the league every season, so it will be more entertaining to see other clubs compete.

Trabzonspor must have seen how Darwin Nunez and Mohammed Salah work together in Liverpool for them to have also have the same interest on him, although Darwin Nunez is not currently in Liverpool now because he left Liverpool to play in Saudi Arabia but however I think their president are not the one who is behind this interest on Darwin Nunez so this decision will come from Trabzonspor because there center forward has not been enough for them so this former Liverpool player will make their centre forward complete and have a wining squad, actually there investment will be very profitable for them, Although I don't no how rich the club is but definitely they have the money that's why they could be doing all this.

That's just how it begins for a serious team. You start by standing your ground against top teams and demand some respect but it is only possible when you have a good coach that can manage the team at first and then later bringing in some decent players that can strengthen the team for the next season encounters. Surely Salah will add a lot of quality to the team and will even help to make their performance even better than last season. Trabzonspor is looking to improve their team and be among the top teams or even battle it out to see if they win the league.

One player can't do it all alone but with all the hard work from last season the players look like they're ready and will help make the work easy for Salah. It won't be easy because the league is a though and competitive one.

When you have such a strong player in your team, it could become a negative or a positive thing. Negative if you see a strong player and you don't feel up to it. As a result it makes the team more vulnerable. But if you take the player as a pretext to give your best and show him that you too are at his level, then the whole team gains confidence and starts playing well, exactly as happened with Juventus when they signed Ronaldo.

Frankly, I don't think it's a good decision.

Like many players, Salah also looked for the best contract he could, yes it will be difficult to win something with Trabzonspor, but it is also a good challenge for him. We will see in the end whether they were right to take Salah or whether it will be a disaster.

They hope to sell many Salah shirts and maybe even get a nice sponsorship.

Talisca has done a really good work in Vedat Muriqi's injury period so far. He isn't actually a forward you know but he has evolved into that due to some reasons at Fenerbahçe.

Maybe he isn't a quick player but he still scores! Just like his beautiful goal against Sturm Graz yesterday. He is meeting the expectations now.

This is why I started thinking that we might not need another forward transfer now.

After his last season at Mallorca, Muriqi has found an impressive confidence, given that he has scored over 15 goals in a single season, with a team that still got relegated. This trust, if he manages to maintain it at Fenerbahce too, could make the difference for the team.

It has already been reported that Trabzonspor has sold thousands of jerseys. There are rumors that they have placed new orders with their jersey supplier. The transfer of Mohamed Salah has been a bombshell for the city. Currently, all of Trabzon is celebrating his arrival. The signing ceremony was held, and the stadium was packed. He will perhaps receive the greatest love of his career at Trabzonspor. He may not leave for many years because Trabzon is a very beautiful city.
