Salah apparently also asked for a share from shirt sales. His move to Trabzonspor alone was a big deal in Turkey. Right now, everyone in Turkey is talking about Trabzonspor and the Mohamed Salah transfer. The Trabzonspor president made a very good transfer, and although it seems like they spent a lot of money, I think they will more than get their money's worth.

People aren't even talking about the transfer anymore because it's over. People talk about something until it happens and then the talk gradually dies down. Since Salah has already chosen Trabzonspor, he won't get the publicity he wanted. His arrival was discussed for days, but now that he's chosen his team and signed his contract, the media needs to find new topics to cover.
Fenerbahçe fans are talking about their match against Sturm Graz, Beşiktaş fans are waiting for and discussing their own match to continue in the Europa League, Galatasaray fans are speculating about who their next transfer will be because they are too quiet.
In other words, aside from Trabzonspor fans, no one really cares about Salah anymore. He's fallen off the radar until the day we see what he can do on the field on his first match.
If he leads Trabzonspor to the championship, he will receive the attention he deserves. Had he joined Beşiktaş or another similar club, that level of interest would have been immense from the very start. If I were in his shoes, I would have chosen a better team, but I respect his decision.

Perhaps he had other expectations, such as the salary. Anyway, it is great to see big names at clubs of this level even as he ages, Salah will still be effective in the Turkish league.

Congratulations to Mohamed Salah. As a Liverpool fan, I appreciate everything he did for us at Liverpool and even though he has moved on to a new challenge, I'll chose to remain his fan because I really like who he is as a playwr. That said, I'll looking forward to watching some of his games at Transponzor. I'll continue cheering and seeing Galatasaray games as well because of Victor Oshimen.

Hahahaha Transponzor? Are you high nelson? It's not Oshimen, his name is Osimhen. You may want to start with correct spellings.

Trabzonspor have made some good signings this season. They've signed Aral Şimşir, Cabral, Cenk, Malinovskyi, Saviolo, Muçi and Mitongo in addition to Salah. They haven't had any financial issues thanks to the sales of Oulai and Augusto. I think they have a good roster, but it's too early to say whether it's enough to compete for the championship. There have been a lot of players coming and going. We don't know how the team chemistry will turn out.

Salah is a player who could be successful not only in Turkey but in any country in Europe. He played at his best in the English Premier League for many years. Initially, he was in talks with Beşiktaş instead of Trabzonspor. However, when Beşiktaş backed out of the transfer, Trabzonspor moved to finalize it. Everyone in Turkey is excited about having such a star player and sees it as a very successful transfer. I wish Beşiktaş could have completed the transfer, but I think the Egyptian star will more than justify the salary offered to Trabzonspor.

I think Mohamed Salah is an incredible and highly impressive signing for Trabzonspor. Well done to the club’s management!! This player puts the team among the title contenders for next season; they will undoubtedly give Fenerbahçe a run for the title, whilst I see Galatasaray and Beşiktaş a little further behind. The Turkish league is attracting a lot of fans around the world.
Salah is 34, but as we saw at the World Cup, he still has the potential to play at the highest level for another three years, and Trabzonspor will benefit from this, in the Europa League this year, but certainly in the Champions League next year.
Salah will fall in love with this team when he sees the support from Trebisonda fans!!

It was an incredible signing for trabzonspor that I never saw coming, and I agree with you on this that he is going to put this trabzonspor team among the title contender if he can perform as much as he did in the just concluded world cup tournament.

Quote
they will undoubtedly give Fenerbahçe a run for the title, whilst I see Galatasaray and Beşiktaş a little further behind.
They will be up there competing with the best in the league, but I disagree with you that the almighty Galatasaray or besiktas will fall behind, that's never going to happen this season, because even though the Galatasaray team fails to make any addition to their team, they are still the defending champions, and they are still strong enough to win their league convincingly, since Victor osimhen and other top players are still there, or is their anything am missing?

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan initially denied the reports linking the club with Mohamed Salah, but tonight it was officially announced that an agreement has been reached with Salah and that he will travel to Turkey to complete the transfer.
It could turn out to be a good signing for Trabzonspor, but personally, I don't think it's a very sensible transfer because of how expensive it is.
We'll have to wait and see what kind of season Trabzonspor have this year.

I think that more than at Trabzonspor, it doesn't suit Momo Salah. He still has qualities that would have been very useful to many top European clubs. So i don't understand this choice to go to a lower category team. He could still play on important pitches and matches for a long time, but he preferred to do so.

It's good to appreciate someone's effort. Personally, I'm not a Liverpool fan, but I always try as much as possible to watch Liverpool's matches because of Mohamed Salah.

Even though he did not perform very well last season, I don't think it will repeat itself this season, because I know that many Liverpool fans were mad at him last season due to his unstable performance in the premier League. Big congrats to him as well.

I know that it takes a whole team to make a difference but I've got the feeling that the presence of Mohammed Salah will add a kind of confidence to the team. Last season Trabzonspor stood up to big teams and demanded respect from them and this season won't be different. If anything, I hope to see more of them especially as they were able to end last season on a high note, sitting third as a result of hit hard work. They could do better if they don't drop in their form and consistency.

Salah is a player who has reached the age of 34; he is entering the final 2–3 years of his football career. Why would he spend these years in Europe earning a lower salary? He certainly wouldn't have earned at Liverpool the amount he is set to receive at Trabzonspor over two years.
It’s not as if Salah is coming here because he’s a huge fan of Trabzon; he is going to earn over 20 million euros annually, including bonuses. No club in Europe would pay that kind of money.
Besides, Salah's career has also begun to gradually decline; he spent a lot of time on the bench at Liverpool last season.
In my opinion, he has made the most logical decision. The city of Trabzon is a place that suits Salah's family lifestyle very well.

That's just how it begins for a serious team. You start by standing your ground against top teams and demand some respect but it is only possible when you have a good coach that can manage the team at first and then later bringing in some decent players that can strengthen the team for the next season encounters. Surely Salah will add a lot of quality to the team and will even help to make their performance even better than last season. Trabzonspor is looking to improve their team and be among the top teams or even battle it out to see if they win the league.

One player can't do it all alone but with all the hard work from last season the players look like they're ready and will help make the work easy for Salah. It won't be easy because the league is a though and competitive one.

Trabzonspor has also issued an official statement. I’ll be honest, After the transfer rumors dragged on for so long, I was thinking that if anyone were to sign Salah, it would be Beşiktaş. But Trabzonspor sealed the deal. Trabzonspor is a team in the Super League that has both generated significant revenue by selling players and signed new ones. Even though not everyone expected them to make a star signing, they’ve earned it.

If i am honest and i am speaking for a person who doesn't follow the Turkish Super League much, I'll be sorry to no longer be able to see Momo Salah on important stages with such desire. This is not to denigrate Trabzonspor, but they are certainly a team in another category. i think Salah did well in terms of his family choice, but in my opinion he could still have given a lot to football for a few years. You must have watched Salah's performance at Liverpool last season, right? He looked like he finished it in his mind already. There was no trace left from the Salah in the 24/25 season...  Sad

He could have simply signed for a Saudi Arabia team too as they were offering a much higher salary. But he decided to stay in Europe for a bit longer. He'll still make a lot of money - €17m per year as far as I know.

Juventus actually has 4 centre-forwards right now as they have signed Kolo Muani recently. Are they really going for Sørloth as well? Then this will make things harder for Fenerbahçe if we are really interested.

But if we manage to bring him I wouldn't doubt our scoring. I don't unsee Vedat Muriqi's last year performance but he is injured for now. I guess he hasn't made any statement on a certain date for his recovery yet.

Already in Serie A, Muriqi was not a player who made the difference. Then going to Mallorca he had an absolutely great championship. And now going to Türkiye i think it will drop a little. In my opinion he should have stayed in Spain despite the team's relegation, because it was a team where he was able to give his all and play his type of football.

Muriqi could score even more goals in Turkey if he plays like he did at Mallorca. Because Fenerbahçe has many players who can feed him the ball. With these players, he can create more chances and score more goals. We haven't seen him play yet because he hasn't fully recovered from his injury, but I think he will be an effective striker for Fenerbahçe when his performance is at 100%. Currently, the missing piece for Fenerbahçe seems to be the left-back position. Oosterwolde and Archie Brown aren't delivering what's expected in that area.

Cheesy
Currently, Trabzonspor will play in the playoffs to stay in the Europa League. If Salah is fit enough for that match, we might see him in the Europa League as well. So, he hasn't really distanced himself from football or Europe. Perhaps he will have some great matches in the Europa League next year with Trabzonspor; that possibility still exists. It's also worth mentioning that this is a historic transfer for Trabzonspor because we know they paid a very high price, especially financially, to bring him here. They are confident they will reap the rewards, and I am hopeful about Mohamed Salah in this regard.

In my opinion, the primary goal behind this transfer by Trabzonspor is publicity. They have acquired a brand like Salah.
Salah has 67 million followers. People across the Arab world will hear Trabzon's name, and more Arab tourists will visit the city.
They will also generate significant revenue from jersey sales. Trabzonspor secured the transfer at a lower price than Beşiktaş would have paid. It is certainly a major success for the management.

I believe that Trabzonspor could not have made a better move, bringing home Momo Salah and overcoming a direct rival in the league like Besiktas. It was known that Salah's family wanted to get closer to Türkiye for religious reasons, and Salah will certainly have gone to meet them. He will certainly be the big man of the team and the club will certainly be happy with him also for the income.

Talisca has done a really good work in Vedat Muriqi's injury period so far. He isn't actually a forward you know but he has evolved into that due to some reasons at Fenerbahçe.

Maybe he isn't a quick player but he still scores! Just like his beautiful goal against Sturm Graz yesterday. He is meeting the expectations now.

This is why I started thinking that we might not need another forward transfer now.

Considering Talisca, Vedat, and their backup Sidiki Cherif, Fenerbahçe has plenty of options in attack. These three players can constantly play in each other's place. Fenerbahçe can especially overcome a tired defense with Cherif in the second half or the last half hour. Cherif is a young player with high explosive power. I see potential in him. They won comfortably against Sturm Graz. Graz's goalkeeper Khudyakov had a very good game. Despite this, Graz couldn't avoid defeat.

Trabzonspor management most likely stepped in after Beşiktaş announced they were walking away from the negotiating table; had that not happened, Beşiktaş would have finalized the transfer.
I am curious about how this transfer actually came about—how much Trabzonspor offered and what Salah saw in the deal.
I wonder what kind of stance the agent—who kept driving up the price against Beşiktaş—took when dealing with Trabzon.
I am curious about these details. The situation should become clear within a day or two.

But the only thing i can think of why Salah decided to go and play in Turkey at Trabzonspor is solely a family reason, given that his family had requested to return to play in a league where his religion was a little more deeply felt. Because otherwise i see no reason why such a talented player would leave the major leagues.
I would really like Salah in my beloved Inter, he's a great player.

Actually, it's not just about religion or country, because Beşiktaş – another team from Turkey – was interested in Mohamed Salah. Trabzonspor stepped in after Beşiktaş couldn't reach an agreement and finalized the transfer. So, the choice isn't exactly about religion or geography. Or rather, it's not solely about those things. I'm sure there are also factors related to meeting the requested salary and other contract terms. I don't think Inter would have paid him such a high salary. He was aware of this and wanted to use one of his best options. From what I've seen, he didn't want to play in Saudi Arabia because he could have been paid more there.
