Their current performance doesn't mean that you should rule them out because that is how they always struggle in the beginning of the season. Even in the Champions League group stage, they do qualify through playoffs.
I believe that Enrique Luis knows what he's doing. It seems that, he's is preserving his team quality till when the right time comes. You don't need to use the performance of a team in their domestic league to judge their performance in international league.
I think the manager is as confused as we are, let's not give out excuses for a team performing poorly, and everyone can clearly see that the team is trying really hard to keep up the play, the manager and players know they need improving, and going forward may cost them what they've been winning consecutively for years. I will believe without any doubt if it's about PSG winning Ligue 1, but not for the Champions League, I have my biggest doubts.
PSG are not going to be Champions League winners, It won't happen again this year, not with this sort of performance.
So far PSG hasn't won at all. After two draws, they actually suffered a loss against Monaco. I'm curious about what's going on with PSG are they sort of starting the season slowly? Because PSG performance right now is really different from last season when they played full of spirit, but this season their performance is really different.
That's true. Although PSG started the season badly, it can't be used as a benchmark because Enrique has already managed to win the UCL trophy twice despite a bad start, and they even had to go through the playoff round in the past two seasons. But on the other hand, I also have the same thought as you, I’m doubtful about PSG’s performance this season and whether they can do the same thing this year. Maybe PSG can still catch up points in Ligue 1, but I have my doubts that they can maintain the UCL title this season. With the way PSG is playing and their current spirit, I actually believe PSG won’t be able to go further in the UCL this season.
